I had similar experience with a coworker. when there are just two of us he seems to be a good friend, listening, be compassionate, etc. but when we hang with more colleagues around, he acts mighty and find chances to make fun of me. I used to wonder wth was his problem.

Sorry, its this thing. anyway my point is try to substitute corn for another activity which is equivalently or more interesting to your senses. this is still temporary you gotta find what work for you in the long run.

Agree. You gotta find out for yourself: goal, path, your way of life, whatever it is. Rather than live just to keep up with societal expectations, presumably built in us since childhood. Inception movie has a nice analogy: the idea is not yours but somebody put it in your mind and the whole life you keep chasing it.

I am. there are sexual urges from time to time but I quickly get rid of by playing games/music. Literally just 30 sec into gaming the urges completely go away. with the trick I ve been 'clean' for several months now. You may say this is unhealthy but really the urges come because of pressure, boredom, worries etc, i mean not genuine needs at least the way i see it.
