Well, I would consider myself a feminist. I do not hate on men and I always try and speak out against other women when they perpetuate harmful stereotypes about men. I think everyone deserves equal opportunity and that no one should be discriminated for their gender, not just women. They are mutually exclusive and I will maintain the opinion that women who use feminism for their own selfish gains aren’t feminists, they’re just assholes. Men deserve just as much recognition for their struggles as…

I couldn’t have said it better. These women are so delusional they genuinely believe they’re ‘lifting other women up’ by tearing men down. Never has that ever worked regardless of who it is. Funnily enough it’s always these sort of women that take pride in being better than other women too. It’s all a pretence to seem like good people when in reality they’re fucking trash.

Exactly, it gives feminism a bad name which sucks. Fuck them.

Well I’m sorry you’ve had to experience that. I hope you have some better ones in the future. But please stop generalising because it doesn’t do anyone any good and it’s certainly not going to get people to change their bad behaviour.

I mean what they said would be alright if they didn’t forget to not generalise the entire gender

Oh okay we’re dealing in vast generalisations now. Cool.

I mean to be fair... they’re not really feminists, they’re just pricks *the ones that say this shit (thought I should clarify)

Couldn’t have said it better. Relationships are a commitment and if you can’t do that then you shouldn’t be in a relationship. She should spend some time alone trying to build some fucking empathy.

I totally agree. As an object which is evenly used by both genders, it’s not owed to one or the other. Equal use, equal responsibility. I also did not realise not looking before sitting was a thing, which it clearly is, since as you point out the problem wouldn’t be a thing if people just checked. Is it that hard? Even if you’re not checking to see if the seat is up, for the love of god at least check if it’s clean. Personally I’d rather accidentally sit on a toilet without the seat than someone…

As a woman, this pic makes me feel uncomfortable. So much mess. That would genuinely cause me to have a mental breakdown lmao. And I don’t know, maybe I live on the moon but I never really noticed the toilet seat thing? If it’s not the way I need then I change it, and... that’s that, really. Never thought it went so deep but according to these comments it’s a big thing. Huh.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
