Maybe you should have read the article: "Cincinnati-based P&G, which operates in 80 countries, sells Gillette razors, gels and foams worldwide and said the writedown was due primarily to currency fluctuations - enduring strength in the U.S. economy in recent years has strengthened the dollar. The charge was also driven by more competition over the past three years and a shrinking market for blades and razors as consumers in developed markets shave less frequently. Net sales in the grooming busin…

Seems like it might be the best investment you could make if things are as bad as you say. It's better than leaving the country, or killing yourself.

That is only true in instances where fathers do not hire a good lawyer to fight for their rights.

Do you have a lawyer? If you had one it sounds like you got a bad deal. I would highly recommend getting a better one, it's worth the money for what you can get in return.

No, i don't think a teenager should be sterilized, and my comment was to one person. If you are a teenager having sex you should use a condom and/or birth control. Spermicide is available right next to condoms, grab some of that while you're there. I mentioned the morning after pill because you can take your cutie to the local pharmacy and get it right there, right away. Buy her a water and watch her take it. I am simply saying that men have options, and again, you have to understand assumed ris…

I didn't comment on this thread to start some sort of flame war. Obviously, i do not expect to change everyone's minds. You can change my words around to make them suit what you believe, but as I said before, women are invested from day one. Fathers do not begin bonding until the baby is born. Isn't not the same thing and there is no way to explain it to you unless you have been through it. I respect that men and father's deserve rights, I swear I really do. But not every man/boy out there is go…

Here is a worldwide list of where to go to get emergency contraceptive (morning after pill) if your condom does break: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_contraceptive_availability_by_country

1 word: vasectomy. Condom success rate is 97%. yeah, they break sometimes, but you could get hit by a car when you leave your house tomorrow, it's called assumed risk. If you are willing to have sex with someone without a condom on sans vasectomy than you have to be aware of the risks involved. As for this: I mean, if you're be conscripted into two decades of legal slavery without your say, how would you react? I, for one, would entertain just about any notion preferentially, including fleeing t…

I mean, guys can walk away much easier; for a father bonding starts after the baby is born. This decision comes with less bodily concern for a man (there is a physical process no matter what a pregnant woman does). I really wonder how many gentlemen commenting on this thread are fathers since the idea has been referred to as "two decades of legal slavery". Some of the best dads i know got there by accident, but if something like this was a law it would have been much easier to walk away. Also, a…

So many men seem to think every woman wants to trick them into a relationship and/or money with a baby. I believe this happens less than you seem to think. I think having a baby is a two way street and certainly men could wear a condom if they want to be sure. Also, a good rule of thumb and a tip for some guys who may not know this: Don't stick your dick in crazy. That shit will always bite you in the end.

Ok, yes I have heard of paternity laws. But you claim that "we are still going to hold the guy responsible"...what I am saying is that the courts have not yet said this and it may not turn out to even be true. It sounds more like a slam and knee-jerk defense of a guy who just sold his story to a tabloid yet claims his ex is a fame whore who got pregnant on purpose.

It hasn't even gone to court yet. Not to even mention the fact that it is still heresay and a story that was sold to a tabloid. While I agree that women can and do lie, surely you will accept the same about men?

Isn't that only if the partner is over 16? And honestly, if a 16 & an 11 year old have intimate relations is that not supposed to be statutory rape? There has got to be a better plan of action to promote men's rights without trying to downgrade rape and rape victims. If the statistic is incorrect, it should be called out, but the other comments trying to justify and make cases for why cases are not rape is quite flimsy.

That's pretty harsh for this rare of an incident. I know far more boys who would take advantage of this than girls who would intentionally get pregnant without the guys permission. I am all for mens and fathers rights, but your suggestion is irrational and illogical. Do you honestly believe there are not enough children being raised without their fathers? We should willingly add more because of one (I know there are surely more, but it not a standard) case?

Where did the article say he was responsible? Oh, right, nowhere.

Thanks for responding to that latter part. Honor rape, not being permitted an education and a woman's word in court counting for 1/3 (i think?) of a man are just a few things that I do not believe "keep women safe".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
