I think i miss the butterflies mostly..the excitement about being in a relationship with someone i adore and admire, other wise idk why im feeling like I'm turning more shallow the older I get? I did something bold, looking back i cringe but I do feel relief..yesterday i

Thanks for the advice. Plus just wanted to share something. Im 32f and hit on my gym crush. Didn't go as planned but I kid you not I was crying and nauseated at the thought of doing it. I was maybe delusional bc he looks mid to late 20s, maybe, and like a hottie mc hottie asian tyrone thug. I was eyeing him for a year but gym is closing in2 weeks so I went up and said hi. All his answers were short and one worded, until at the end I gave a compliment on his beanie and he had the hugest smile and…

Besides looks, what about if a man has only dated in situationships and is now looking for a ltr/marriage? Could it be just sweet talk to get laid if his past shows he wasnt really intentional?

Im the same way, especially if its my money being spent. I cant fathom spending it for other people to enjoy. Might be a dealbreaker for me, sucks cause idk who would just wana do a court wedding...maybe guys care idk

In what ways can I add more fun/excitement? I can plan cool dates...give ideas where we havent gone..

Your pragmatic post gives me hope, thank you. Now i feel more confident that my partners genuinely liked/ loved me in spite of my flaws like being uninteresting/awkward. I definitely take care of myself and dont cause unnecessary drama...

What kind of person makes her interesting/fun to chat with, minus the ego boost? I love boosting my mans ego but besides that im pretty sure I dont have much of a personality...although he would laugh in my face whenever I got angry cause he thought I said something cute while being so angry lol

This would help me be so much less stressed when im obsessed with what/how he wants me to be. Nice post. I dont want to live with someone until marriage, but why did you not move in at an engagement? Im not sure how to say it and not have them run either

Just need to be mindful of letting go of hurtful things said to me by past relationships...sadly it's a recurring theme and I dont feel good enough so im just not going to date

The fact he even asked imo means hes not serious/relationship material. Its tacky to ask that. I immediately lose interest if he asked me that before the 3rd date. If there was some flirting or touching/kissing its a different story

Thanks for the response. Sometimes I wonder if I should consider a 2nd date if I felt so incredibly flat on the first one.
/r/RedPillWomen23/11/25 12:02 AM

So how was your first date? Was it amazing? Or just flat? I go on dates with people I find "catches" but when I meet them i just dont have any desire to see them again....idk. also why was this guys income/job level not a dealbreaker? What about if a guy has cheated in the past? Also I feel so butt hurt if the guy wants a prenup.

Yes, I wont ever go on a date if the phone call went bad! Some guys on the phone call were even rude, sarcastic, intentionally mute, and i didnt even have to waste a night!

Read psycho cybernetic (free audio book on youtube) this transformed how I viewed myself and kind of changed my life. Meditate. Lose weight. I got some work done when I was 29 (microneedling and red light therapy) that left me looking much older, and changed my face shape for the worse, I still found an incredible and attractive man and I was the "ugliest" I've ever been (people in my circle commented what I did to myself even) Be kind to yourself

My bad, didnt give the context. I said id be down to meet just to see where it goes next weekend. Then we casually text here and there, and he dropped that line. So imo it wouldnt make sense for me to go anyways since his theoretical question is basically implying he doesnt want one, in general

I ended up not going, him and I were casually texting and he randomly asked, why do people want to be in relationships anyway?

Okay maybe update your post with this information
/r/RedPillWomen11/10/25 07:55 PM

Did you ask these questions first? If you want to know something, ask? What stuff does he like to do? Maybe you guys can talk about that? Some guys arent all that inquisitive maybe
/r/RedPillWomen11/10/25 07:53 PM

Nothing you said about this man, in this post has been wrong? How can we tell you how he feels? What did he do to make you question things, i genuinely cant tell from this post...

I've met ppl who sucked at convo over the phone, and it was just as bad irl, no effort. So why bother wasting a night, giving ppl benefit of the doubt isnt needed early on imo. But idk with my example in my post, its lil hazy

Yeah, which means I should either next or tread lightly and give it a date or two

I write off people who couldn't even care to ask a question back in a phone call, making me carry the convo.

Hm okay. Thats why I was very hesitant to go on a date with him, maybe its fine if I pass on this one since he couldn't even say that, even though it was a ft first time meeting.

Will read that, one more thing, if the guy straight up says, "i havent thought that far out about being in a relationship or marriage but i don't want casual" is a tell tale sign of dont get your hopes up and im a casual person

Okay very true. I guess I can be more lenient on some things. With the phone calls, I just notice they translate pretty well in real life but I could try more to see the in real life encounter, if no deal breakers.

Is it wrong to next guys pre date if they dont have any intention on what their even looking for though? I know nothing is guaranteed but a part of me feels like im setting myself up for failure, when i would have known from the beginning.

I've been in male led relationships before, thats all i have done. In my younger years I didnt date for looks, just men with good careers who were fun to be with(and the bedroom was absolutely terrible), but after I found someone i was attracted to and had a good job etc, it completely changed the landscape for me so now I feel hopeless I'll find it again Yeah I frequent this sub alot, its gotten me one amazing relationship that almost led to an engagement (we ended bc incompatible)

Hey responding you your points I think a ft or phone call weeds out men who give 0 effort in a phone call, sometimes I feel they intentionally stay quiet and im glad I didnt waste a night out on them. I keep it brief, maybe under 30 min to see if I can at lease converse, so its my mini vibe check. Usually the men I chat with ask to meet after conversing within the first few days of chatting with them, I dont usually take 2 weeks to have a phone call at least or meet them if im interested. And ab…

Hey, I see your posts and wanted your advice. What do you feel about having a ft date before a 1st date, but the guy says he just wants to meet people and hasn't thought about dating(m35). He had a live in gf for 6 years and never proposed! I am 31f, I have been engaged before and said id like to get engaged again, but I personally wouldnt wait years bc I want kids. Idk if its worth it to go on a date. He said he doesnt want to do casual either but never mentioned hes specifically looking for a …

Im in my early 30s and went on a date with someone compatible, but left the date feeling very flat/uninterested. We have been texting each other everyday for once a day, gm only. The thought of seeing him feels like a chore and idk if its worth it even though he wasnt "terrible". Just something im worrying about

I didny say the full details, but he actually even said he would rehome one dog and then not get dogs after these passed. I am saying he wanted more dogs (if it wasnt up to me) I still left because I knew the resentment that would follow, and if anything, I was the one who had one foot out the door due to my incompatibility. Since I loved him I just hoped and bargained it would get better, or id come around, but unfortunately it didnt.
/r/RedPillWomen29/07/25 01:52 AM

2 large dogs. When they passed he wanted more.
/r/RedPillWomen29/07/25 01:42 AM

Yeah, absolutely. But now i feel sort of screwed because I have only dated one person I was attracted to and the others, i just didnt feel compelled to enthusiastically sleep with them..I would have taken my ex had it not been for the pets.

Can I respond? Im a mid and was in a monogamous relationship where we went ring shopping ~ 8 month mark with a handsome man who also had a well paying job. I unfortunately had to end it due to our incompatibility with his pets (they gave me so much stress bc im so overstimulated by them to the point of chest pain and nightmares, and he started to resent me bc i only tolerated them too. he wasnt perfect either, he watched porn often, once in front of me while giving a bj so now i have performance…

The dog is very well behaved but I get really tensed and stressed being around it..I'm so screwed and idk how to fix that or even deal with it without having stress everyday for the next 10 years...idk how to try but I will

How long did it take you to like dogs? Or get used to them having them around you? I am trying my best and I think it's getting better, other times I feel very overwhelmed just looking at them.

Hey, so I'm dog sitting the easy dog right now and I'm feeling quite stressed just having them around me...constantly. I'm on edge constantly and their good dogs. Idk what to do about my annoyance bc it will just get worse with time ..and I'm torn bc I can't let him go. He is helping them to train and it's getting better but

I am so jelous your dog was timid. I wish so bad that were my case. Your last sentence was really beautiful too. Puts things into perspective for me...I just wish this dog was also old and just laid there but I have a few years for that. I dislike the affection from dogs. So much that it causes so much tension and that's just what they do

Okay great wording. I'll try that. Your husband sounds like my bf in his proactiveness. Truth is I want him and don't want the dogs but may have to compromise
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 10:48 PM

How should I say it? That's exactly what I want to be minimized

Well I'll talk with him, I know his response will be to help but idk if I can really constantly try to push the dogs away too
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 08:40 PM

This is a great point I keep coming back to. He is amazing and I feel like I hit a jackpot. Maybe he might get them in the future but we talked about him being a primary provider so idk it's a price I feel like I have to pay..especially if he let's me stay with out future kids and not work. I can try to accept but it will cause tension to me but I will try Thanks for your input.
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 07:31 PM

Taking care of them isn't my issue. I don't mind going on walks, picking up, but it's the clinginess and ontop of me that I hate.
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 07:29 PM
2

Yeah if the dogs are too close to me constantly it is not ideal. I'll find ways to train the dogs if I want to live with him and my bf will help me. I'll block off areas in my house when we buy one too. Thank you for the optimism
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 04:24 PM
2

Yeah I'll be firm, if he gets offended that I can't have the dog on me all the time I will.make my decision then. My man is a dog trainer on the side so he said he will help train and help me train too... I just can tell there will be tension when I always tell then dog to not be near me. Oh well
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 03:47 PM

I have a hard time wording c. What I want to say is I think i made a mistake going forward with dating (not like I plan on leaving so why say this) but it's going to be difficult for me to say, hey i get stressed having your dog on me and nestled next to me all the time, please have him off me as much as possible while I'm here?
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 03:10 PM
2

I don't want him to get rid of them, I will work with them but I feel guilty that I don't want them on my or next to me while I'm at home. I don't mind walking them ever, or sometimes playing with them. I'll do it for him
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 03:02 PM

I truly thought it would be a small inconvenience but I wish I could snap my fingers and like dogs but it's just really difficult when I get over stimulated all the damn time

I don't want him to get rid of the dogs. I'm not looking for an out either. I just think I'm scared of the reality of if I keep voicing my concern, as in hey can you help train your dog to never sit on me or nestled by me I want some alone time, over and over it will be hard for him too
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 02:51 PM

Luckily now my bf never asks me to take care of them. I'll just have to voice my concern about it now and see how it is

Yeah feeling slightly torn bc one of his dogs he had since a puppy is perfect(for dog people, doesn't bother or jump ever), while he other one with the issues and very hyper (he adopted at 1 yr)..that dog just lays on me constantly and it's so annoying and can't be away from me more then 15 seconds ever. Really tiring.. He will want one once they pass, but he is good at training if he had them since very young. Everything about my bf is a dream except this but yeah I feel like screaming right no…

8 months so it's a while..yeah it's hard to find a good guy in general and this is the only issue im facing

Yeah, I did ask my bf If he could help me when the dogs on me. But the clinginess of the dog maybe can't be trained... Sometimes I just shut my mouth bc I'm a pushover and for the peace too though.

I had this happen before I found my bf. You got out of a toxic relationship, be thankful someone made you feel excited again, maybe he was just here to show you that you are capable of being loved again, and if you feel excited about this person, even though it's not ideal, imagine how good you'll feel when he's just as eager about you

How could we improve general girl game
/r/RedPillWomen13/06/24 06:26 PM

This is a sad reality. If it's hidden I'd turn my head. My bf is now threatening to tell my brother about other women he finds attractive, and he keeps making fun of how cheap and fake my engagement ring is in public(after i told to stop)...idk he's a hvm and never cheated but this might be a dealbreaker...
/r/RedPillWomen18/04/24 07:45 PM

He refused to go to the lawyers, so I blew up again and again..I have so much sadness that it ended and idk how I can move on from such a regretful decision I made. I catastrophized so many instances in the relationship and I'm filled with so much heavy regret now...
/r/RedPillWomen11/02/24 12:39 AM

Yeah looking back he made comments about other women even when my dad was going through cancer..like really even after I told him to stop. Maybe I'll just see what lawyer says or just end it

The prenup states his assets will be protected forever, he's changing everything if I have kids, and putting less in a joint so the majority will go to his stocks that I won't get. Basically I won't get much since we don't even have assets yet...
/r/RedPillWomen13/01/24 03:36 PM

It's crazy because we said the prenup will actually dissolve in 2 years or when I have kids, whichever comes first and now he's saying it some clauses must last forever

Truthfully, I'm running out of time and looks. He is a High earner and had prime when he just had no shortage of beautiful women, they obviously used him for money. But I did not, I also get along with his family and he appreciates that alot. He does always make an effort to make time for my family, takes me on trips, nice dinners, is fine with my awkwardness/weirdness, doesn't cheat (but definitely loves making comments)..
/r/RedPillWomen02/10/23 09:51 PM

I had that talk with him in the second date, as in how soon he wants to date someone before marriage/proposal and he said at least a year. But he randomly gives hints on proposing saying it's going to be a big year for me, that was a month ago tho.
