Chump Lady is amazing she gets me fired up. I bought a “codependent no more book” I will do what you say. It’s not that I’m trying to eff him over. If my 200 coincidences are true today something new and horrible discovered.

I really will! I joined another subreddit to kind of get perspective on why folks step out and cheat. To make myself self aware. It kind of fueled the anxiety. This reddit is much more loving, firm but loving. Thanks

Your right and maybe I needed to hear it as him and I we are both wrong. Not just him, not just me. I can’t make him go to therapy, and marriage or couple therapy is a hard no. I’ll go for me, I’ll get them because I’d like to give my all to know even at my very best again, I was not enough. Before the infidelity I had two Hobbies a couple of quality friends. Very clean home, organized, and in my eyes sex was off the charts amazing. People saw us and thought we were honeymoon phase. The only thi…

I do have it. People don’t usually recognize the term and it’s akin to post partum psychosis. Well I don’t know if the two are similiar but the latter is like the prior on steroids. Since I’ve been journaling for a couple of years and tracking it, I make plans to offset. I pre plan I’ve reduced it from a week before and after to about one day prior or two days max prior to cycle. When my period actually starts a wave of relief comes over me it’s hormonal and hardly anyone understood me when I us…

Can I turn this around? In your opinion since you’ve read a lot.

That’s fair and very logical. I just didn’t want to go , and it be a waste of time again.

Thank you for the encouragement. The heads up is truly what I’m looking for. It’s not cute and I need to think before I write.

Ok fair enough. So I tell them how he gaslight me the entire time he was cheating even though I asked repeatedly and begged? I just doubt a therapist is going to align with me staying by my husbands side. Or align with RP in general. My quest and goal will be to eliminate my insecurities from not having trust and to build trust again? He will not go to therapy. He’s been to a total of three visits for couples. Not dragging him there because honestly whining to a stranger about my husband on his …

Using the word anxiety, I meant that word as a generalization, I don’t see why, based on that alone, I would be encouraged to see a therapist. I think me being self aware, and concerned better describes my issues.

Why, does it seem I’m passed the point of a mentor. I need to be here, this is the place I should be especially if my Captain is a RP. To me it’s just a traditional way, if I didn’t see it a lot doesn’t mean I can’t do it-but does mean I need to be familiarized with it. Any recommended reading?

I’ve been to therapy, she was unprofessional. She told me to get away from him. They are not supposed to tell you what to do at all. Rather give you the tools to solve your own issues. Spending his money because I’m a spazz seems like the wrong direction. It’s possible I’m anxious and spending my time trying to improve myself which only makes my mismanagement of time increase.

Right, I want to own my emotions and take responsibility my brain is kind of fried and I’m on a low calorie regimen. I’ve just asked if he could be candid and I would type it out to remove any labor. I don’t want to ask him to do something I used to do that shit and it’s annoying thinking back in it. My memory is crappy and logical thinking never was my strong suit. If I could get real life scenarios from him it’s just asking him for help is again a needy behavior.

Thank you I posted here for A Mans perspective and I know some women have figured it out but, I really needed to hear or read it from a guy to trust it because....I feel like I’m running out of time. He says things are fine but if things were unstable for so long my attempts could be too little too late. I have put the last behind me and just need to never bring it up again. Discovery day was in April 2019.

He is one. I took him for granted I gave him honey do lists. He works his ass off and I don’t. The hardest job is not being a Mom it’s a roofer in the summer time. He stepped out so he wouldn’t have to step away. I stepped up and he stepped up too. Now I need help to improve my insecurity that’s it. I have to own my shit, he’s not the fault of all my problems I’ll never improve if I keep the focus on him. Thank you for reading my wall of text though. I gained a ton of weight we still had sex, bu…

I agree with your respectful detachment I want to improve myself desperately please please consider offering me links to be better. I’ve read a lot of men get treated like shit and it’s true women will absolutely take a real man for granted. I’ve learned but I’m still lost on how to behave I don’t want to be overly confident and naive again. A lot of propaganda saying men should do x y z! It’s so damn stupid. I don’t want to spend a hour in marriage counseling to talk shit about my husband to so…
