–	how i found r/mensrights: I've found this subreddit very reasonable, but on other parts of the internet there are men's rights advocates who are just as fringe as the worst feminists. They completely deny any discrimination against women. 1	I just will never understand why in the world you would ever lop off a part of your little baby boy's penis? Why why why would you ever intentionally hurt your baby? I fully understand that, and I think it should be illegal to circumcise at birth. I'm just saying I see why some people have a hard time giving up tradition. I think her point was, earrings are purely vanity, circumcision is a cultural thing. She later said there are some places where ear piercings are cultural and says that's fine. I still disagree with her. She's just doesn't realize how disgusting a cultural norm it is, and how easy it is to change. I do understand what this person is getting at. This is likely the reason I was circumcised as my parents aren't religious. I also don't think they realized that it can actually have negative affects later in life (which it has). One common argument is that male circumcision is sexist, and I agree with this, but I also realize the main kinds of female circumcision are far worse then the main kinds of male circumcision. I say this because: 1) I'm in an exclusive relationship and care a lot about my significant other, 2) Even with my significant other, men can be "not in the mood" at times too. If some woman tried to force herself on me (and yes, it is possible, and because it's more difficult that makes it a bit dangerous, with risk of injury on my part) then I would understandably be upset and angry at whoever did this.
