Having been to Korea, specifically Seoul, this is never more true. Gorgeous women and short, dumpy dorkish men. At least they all try to dress nicely and make an effort to be clean. It should be noted though that their beauty standards are extremely fucked. It was still jarring tho to witness the disparity between the genders.

I like all the dudes and handmaidens who on first encountering this sub react with so much "omg how toxic".
