When i first met my lvm ex he bought me a digital photo frame for my birthday. It was still early in the relationship so he didn’t really know me that well but he also didn’t ask what i wanted. I didn’t like it so i just stuck it in the bottom of one of my kitchen drawers and forgot about it. One day while i was away at work he was going through my drawers for some reason and he found it. He later drunkenly confronted me about it and said that it hurt his feelings i didn’t use it. I told him I d…

From my personal experience they’re extremely low value and have no problem showing it. I visited twice for work. The first time a coworkers friend tried to get my phone number and I told him no since he was engaged. He replied “Its okay, I’ll put you in my phone as ‘steve’ she’ll never know.” Another time I was out at a bar with same coworkers other friend - she was a woman. This guy sitting across from us was on a date and he kept staring at me to the point that it made myself and the other wo…

I just straight up ignore them. I was walking into the grocery store today and had on a mask and sunglasses. There’s no way you could even see my face. As soon as the sliding doors opened there was an 50 year old man in front of me and I thought I was in his way so I moved to the side and he moved with me blocking my way just to make the comment “damn you’re beautiful.” Like wtf? I just kept walking and ignored him. Thankfully he didn’t make some rude comment since I didn’t acknowledge his unwan…

Yeah it’s definitely a way for them to continue their shitty behavior with no accountability. If the person they’re dating calls them out on their behavior they can just say “Well why are you with me, what’s wrong with you?!” instead of being an adult and correcting their their ways. It’s ridiculous. My ex would do this and even had his low life shitty friend would side with him as well. Glad I’m out of that situation. Never again! Lol

I made the same mistake of cheating when I was in a long term relationship at 23. Afterwards I felt like shit and made it a point going forward to never make that same mistake again. You have to figure out why you cheated and make sure in future relationships that you either try and communicate the issue or just leave them. Infidelity has long lasting effects on people and it’s such a selfish act, you don’t want to history to repeat itself. Learn to forgive yourself and try and do better. You go…

Same here! Unfortunately porn has become a blueprint for sexual experiences and you become so desensitized to it that it’s the norm. Also the fact that it’s looked down upon to be “vanilla” and prefer to have loving, intimate sex without spanking or choking.

Have you tried setting boundaries and talking to her about it before you consider cutting her off? She sounds like a good friend, she is just struggling romantically and lacking self awareness.

How the hell can you even date someone only making $10 an hour. What a joke!

It’s always the unattractive men who will try and lower your self esteem as a tactic to try and control you. Don’t read into this shit. Block and move on!

Damn girl that’s a long list 😂. Make sure you read over this in case you feel like reaching out to him again or vice verse.

You should focus on all of those negative things you listed in your post. It seems like you were just infatuated with his physical features and how he portrayed himself to you when you started dating. That’s clearly not who he is. Focus on the reality of the situation and not the fantasy you’ve created in your head.

This could not be more true! Thinking back to the comments men I’ve dated have made about me subtly and how they are supposed to be passed off as “jokes.” In the past I used to tolerate it and be flattered that they even felt comfortable being able to “joke” around with me like that. Thankfully I found this sub and realized how ass-backwards my thinking and mentality were. It’s not cute, funny, or endearing to insult a women under any circumstance.

Yes! Sadly I had to learn this the hard way. After you go no contact it’s best to stay that way.

I most recently made a cons list after my recent breakup to motivate me not to go back to him. I ended up running out of paper 😬.

Yeah after becoming more involved in this sub it has made me question why I allowed the choking and spanking during sex from partners. I wonder if I stayed long enough if the relationships would’ve become physically abusive? 🤔

I wonder the validity of this video as well. It seems to be a trend going on TikTok. This is the third one I’ve seen like this.

I was literally googling “is cocaine addictive” and trying to see if it could be used moderately. It’s funny how you’ll do anything to justify someone’s actions just to stay in a relationship with them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
