I have a pretty facilitating experience with serotonin related game. I started taking pretty high doses of escitalopram (lexipro - 20mg) and my game PLUMMETED. I was going out for a few months and every single girl I approached, or guy I interacted with, thought that I was gay (I was putting off some serious feminine vibes). I even made-out with a few girls who insisted that I was gay and that I must be bisexual or something despite having no sexual desire for men whatsoever. I had a few nights …

In Rollo Tomassi's book Positive Masculinity, Rollo opines, "deprivation is motivation" in relation to abstinence from internet pornography and masturbation. Eschewing masturbation is clearly a strong habit to increase desire for pro-social sexual behavior. I would be careful to not underplay the biological effects of masturbation. There is a lot of research to show that Dopamine and Testosterone decreases sharply after orgasm. Invariably, this will lead to changes in behavior. Your comment come…

I deleted my previous comment after writing myself to a better logical conclusion. Perhaps Sam Harris is right in exhorting people to believe in 'free will' as a neural process. After all, your conscious mind does have influence over other mental processes, we know this for certain. If the conscious mind is distinct from the other processes, this is valuable information for the entire system (to make a physical correlation - neurons specifically - more efferent projections than afferent projecti…

But "free won't" is likely true, meaning you have a way to veto your mental processes. Still a logical fallacy. A mental process is vetoing a mental process, therefore it is all just a mental process. There is no 'you' that is making decisions, just mental processes responding to the environment. 'Free won't' is as logically fallacious as the concept of free will. Rereading your comment I can see that you understand, but almost confusing yourself with semantics. As neuroscience develops, we will…

Honestly its damned if you do and damned if you don't. But if you force conversation by just starting random topics all the time, she will think you're weird and clingy and have nothing better to do This.

I imagine this is a question too specific for anyone to answer with any real evidence or certainty. That being said I wouldn't let this line of thinking deter you from pursuing people. It is my belief that, in general and on average, that proximity to the holidays make little to no difference on whether or not an american will go on dates. If anyone has any counter arguments deeper than the concept of "cuffing season", I'd be interested in hearing it.

I don't care how well it worked into the conversation, never ask a girl that you're interested in for their email. Asking her insinuates that you are either completely out of touch, nervous, or not interested in her at all, all three being the complete opposite of what you want to broadcast or come across as. The attempt is 80% of the battle, so keep getting out there and don't lose confidence.

Just to drive the point home, if you were interested in a girl would you want to give her your email or your phone number? Emails are for contacts and clients, phone numbers are for BUFF MACHO MEN WITH BIG DICK ENERGY!

Not into you, just being friendly. She would have given you her phone number and followed up if she was interested. (She's in real-estate and the segue was "in case I need any advice ...) It's entirely likely that she thinks you're truly a prospective buyer. I have friends in real-estate and you'd be shocked how strong their front is. You saw her at the gym. It's not like you met her at the club. If she's attractive and proactive enough to go to the gym its likely she already has a boyfriend. Ju…
