5'8 so not super short, just below average. Honestly, girls very rarely comment on my height. Witty replies do work, but they are not magic bullets. If a girl values the guy being tall a lot, nothing You say will change that, and that's ok.

From the top of my head: If she says I am shorter than she expected: - Hold on, this is our first date and you already have expectations? For the plain "You are short": - And this is only first of my many other good qualities. And the likes, You need to have a good delivery too. How You say stuff matters A LOT.

Try this: I am far more age tolerant than Leonardo DiCaprio, so You don't have to worry.

I remember at my first job, I had a coworker who would always say, "I don't understand, could you explain it?" and he'd get an answer every time without anyone judging him. It blew my mind that you could ask questions like that without being looked down on. I think the way our school system works had something to do with why it surprised me so much.

If this happens often, up your pics/profile game.

it's probably not like those older guys got a lot of action in their 20s only for it to change in 30s. A lot depends on the looks, style, game, and how well you age. Most women will prefer very handsome 35 year old over sloppy looking 25 year old.

I dunno, I was super skinny when I was younger at 5'8 and did decent, granted I have boyish looks.

I knew handsome dudes that were off putting by the way they talked or stared at you. It's very easy to burn your chances with a girl you just met if you are creepy or awkward. Happend to me as well when I was younger, and had anxiety attacks. I guess it's good to ask your friend what is wrong, or go for a dating coach, maybe even therapy. Autistic guys struggle with this often.

This is exaggerated as heck, I have very attractive sister, and when she was in her 20s, and really watched her diet she was quite a head spinner. Granted my sister is a modest girl, and did not try to force any extra male attention than she had. I would say that she has a lot of stories when her boss, colleague or classmate pursued her, but not to the point where she would get daily attention to that extent. The dark side of being a very attractive girl is that a lot of girls get jelaous, and t…

Do not approach with the intention to score/get a date. Approach in a friendly manner, if a girl is even a bit receptive escalate slowly from there.

This topic is covered in Joseph Campbell books. I highly recommend them as he provides quite an unique outlook on how to look at our lives. Those are not self-help books, rather something to widen your horizons. Take a look at: The Power of Myth The Hero with a Thousand Faces

I'll give you extra: "You fancy a triangle? wink" Issue is that you not always come with those instantly, sometimes i'ts fine to just ignore the shit test, for sure better than a lame reply.

~25 I don't mind that since I worked my ass off in all aspects of life, so I am in quite a good place right now and actually have options in life/dating.

Never label yourself as shy, I thought I was shy but this is BS. It can work for you if you are really handsome and you will accept the fact that girls will pick you up not the other way around. I did this during some of my first dating experiences as a late bloomer: Go for a kiss with the intention of getting rejected/no expectations. I was on a date with a girl I was very attracted to and had a crush on, I went for a kiss and I got a cheek slide. In the end, it didn't work out but I was proud …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
