Success is arbitrary because it means different things to different people. Smoking every day and playing fortnite isn't my form of success, just like working for a company doing architecture isn't other people's form of success

They're still happy doing what they do, and I wasn't. I wasn't happy doing that but I am now. Everybody wins and is successful in their own way

Hey man I'm not judging anyone - they can do what they want but I personally am better off now than when I smoked weed every day

Associates in Architectural Design and Drafting. Was really just a drafting degree, I took it my own direction by using my previous coding experience.

Work for a company that I really enjoy being at, but I'm also slowly starting a freelance business on the side offering 3d modeling services, consulting, and custom tool development.

Architectural/Computational design. 2 years of community college and a lot of my own free time spent learning to develop custom software tools to automate the programs we use. Edit: I can work remote whenever I want now and travel frequently (except not now, because corona)

Yep I left all my friends a long time ago by doing the same thing. They're all still delivering pizza and spending money on weed. I'm making $70k a year and traveling the world

It means that she's wearing a necklace with a padlock on it. The hell is there to read into beyond that

Not football but literally anything fun I want to do with my friends - snowboarding, grabbing drinks and shooting pool, hiking...

Ffs, how many times can these NPCs ask this question. There's at least 1 of these a day

I didn't say relationship. I said marriage.

Wow that dude has literally resigned himself to not receiving the ONE benefit that marriage could possibly have for a man

Part of it is luck haha, a lot of firms want their entry level designers to have a 4 year degree. I just found the one that doesn't, and one of my professors @ school used to work there so I got a recommendation

I started as an architectural designer/drafter drawings plans at a local firm, but Ive been there for 3 years now and have quickly worked my way up to job captain for medium sized projects, which is more overseeing jobs during construction, coordinating between disciplines/consultants...9 more years and my state will let me take the tests required to be a licensed architect even without a bachelors of architecture.

I fully moved out immediately after graduating college - luckily I had no student debt because I did a 2 year degree at community college, so that made it easy

They tried teaching me this way when I was a kid...I always did it the old way, showing my work, and they would mark it incorrect even though the answer was the same. I can't tell you how many times I had to talk to the school admins for them to OK it and get the teachers to correct my grades in the class. Fuck common core. You don't even want to know how they do more complex math, it's horrible.

I just don't understand why they think this is "equality". If a bunch of dudes ran through the streets with their dicks out, they would all get arrested real quick

Man, getting lost is the best part. I spent half my day today wandering aimlessley around Mexico City on my own and it was the time of my life. Ate a ton of street food, ended up playing drums in a park for a small crowd of locals, found a nice little market to explore....all unplanned. Oh, and no woman around to mess it up. My advice is to just pick a place, do a little research, learn some basic stuff in the local language, pack your stuff, and go. Easy as that.

Man that looks amazing. My spring trip is coming up in a few weeks, headed down to Mexico

The ski instructor is equally at fault with Paltrow in this situation, if not more so because he is a mountain employee
/r/MGTOW30/01/19 06:16 PM

There is such a thing - in fact there are a few "traffic rules" on any ski mountain. Person downhill from you always has the right of way because they don't have eyes in the back of your head. You also need to be in control of your skiing at all times and not go at a speed that is dangerous to others.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Graham_rule#"Mike_Pence_rule" It's really the Billy Graham rule but Mike Pence is the most recent high-profile person to use it/say something about it

The Mike Pence rule is pretty effective
