This is true, but is also hard to relate to your peers when you are living a single life. I have definitely noticed a "glass ceiling" in my career. Other managers talk about taking their kids to school etc. I don't have such things. People fail to realize that in the later parts of your career, socializing and "politics" are just as important and skill.

I think men should still date. You just need to date the right women and avoid "divorce bait". She says she an independent woman, let her stay independent. But I agree it is rough out there. I think more men in the states are looking overseas for partners. It is the greatest counter play to women's advantage of being able to seek attention literally anywhere. Because of women's nature, they unintentionally lie about what they want. They THINK they want something they really don't. There was a st…

I was actually having a discussion with some friends about this. My friend was complaining about Texas abortion laws. I usually say now, when women complain about abortion crackdowns. "Women just don't want it bad enough". If women presented something along the lines of men could pay a "fee", like median cost of abortion, and opt out of father hood until a certain time and in that time period or even greater a woman could abort a child. Giving her an opportunity to decided to go fatherless or no…

It is not men's issues. They are your issues. She has no sympathy for you and will take from you. You will die by 1000 cuts. As things get more "real" you will continually bang heads. You will walk on eggshells and just come to resent her. How do you think she would respond if you told her some shitty shit women did to men? If you do break up with her, explain why LIGHTLY. Explain that men have issues to the first one is that one is that no one cares about men's issues which is why they are neve…

Pay gap is real if you use the most rudimentary of metrics to create it. No social scientist worth their salt would take the W-2s of two groups and mindlessly compare them. Simply put the statistic of 75% is a number only an idiot would accept. STEM education has failed this country.

I know many people are bashing/downvoting you. But I just want to give some advice on where a lot of the talking past each other is coming from. People often forget that there is more to life than "hard power", money, status, etc. Soft power or influence is often far more powerful and is often very hard to replace. Women are still the primary market for most advertisements, because housewives make a majority of financial decisions. Men buy the houses their wives want, the car their wives want et…

There is a bar I frequent and a lot of dudes come to this place solo. I will try to chat with guys I see by themselves. If we talk for awhile, I always hit them with the "strangers can't give away secrets". Sometimes dudes hit with some hard shit. I try to explain to people it is hard for dudes to make friends or even just talk to people.

I would talk to the owners. They would likely say that male players tend to dominate the game, due to experience. And newer players (females) are intimidated by this fact. I would say that's cool, "My new dollars are intimidated by your comic book expertise". Its also not healthy to hide weaker players in anything from better players. It gives you something to strive for and you learn way of looking at a game that are not particularly apparent in the rules. It is what makes DnD awesome.

I am pretty sure you can take this speech and flop men for women. And it would sound like a "typical CEO- mysoginist apology". Example: After finishing up a podcast about how women were the next big trend for male entrepreneurs. I was shocked to see that I, CEO of MenTech was being sued for discrimination against women. While MenTech does focus on growth for male entrepreneurs, we do provide our services to anyone regardless of gender. As someone who has women on their board and in their brain t…

Many anti-feminist during this time period actually recognized while 2nd class under the law. Which really hurt women who were unmarried or lesbians. On the other hand the majority of women were granted certain social powers. Luckily for women, today, they have been granted both equal treatment and rights under the law. Yet they are capable of retaining all of their special privileges built in an unfair society. It is really why I tend to lean towards MRA positions. While some I think are rather…

Basically, these "laws" demonstrate not only how shitty we educate people in the frameworks or pillars of Western law. But also how poor many have zero basis in just basic formal logic. Especially how no one has the foresight to see the circular logic loop that this places people in. You can not disprove a lie, because it is a lie...

The issue really boils down to man/nerd/internet speak. As long as the the language can be misunderstood, you are in for a battle. The same issue as with the MRA movement. I get it. But you have to look at the movement as a whole from an outsiders perspective. The battle field is language and both movements fail in this area. GG people know internet culture and feign ignorance. Feminist are often sincerely shocked.

I don't believe they are as common as most individuals in this sub do, but for the sake of argument lets agree that it happens at a non-zero rate. I am not an MRA, I don't subscribe to this sub, and I find many ideas presented here to be reprehensible. In this case I feel I have something constructive to add to the conversation. The only thing this changes is that instead of "I said no" the accusation is "I didn't say yes". It doesn't make it any easier or harder to prove, and doesn't change the…

I don't think these people understand how search engines work... Also the way Google screens out "bad images", is easily subverted if people just try. Google is normally successful, because most people give up, same with imgur. Unfortunately, people actually "want" to see. So most of the copies of the image are in fact not the "exact" same image. So it fools the crawler and censoring techniques.

Once you understand what Vice is, their bashing of the MM makes sense. One of the Founders is Muslim (a religion westerns consider anti-women), Suroosh Alvi, and Vice has produced stuff that could be seen as "antisemitic". Mainly the criticisms over policies that Israel have implemented. Since we are taught criticizing Israel, is demonizing all Jews. So the anti-MM/blatant pro-feminism posturing is their "beard", so to speak (we're easy pickings). Which is funny because Vice often finds itself i…

I would like to add one thing, this will probably get ignored. Can we keep the man speak to a minimum! A lot of the problem with major MRA bloggers is the "man speak", makes me question identifying as one. I understand what is being said, but for the outsiders it does come off poorly. As in we are more prone to being blunt and slightly over the top. Y'know, when you refer to your best friend as "needle dick".

Shit like this saddens me, because ultimately, it just generates more racism/extremism. It ends up placing individuals like Abbot, in Australia in office. It completely turns logic on its head and now everyone just picks the polar opposite view. I really wish people would stop taking 1 truth and just running with it all the way to the opposite end of the political spectrum.

I don't know what you should say if you are assumed to be from a "privelaged" position. But overall, I tend to explain to people that currently under law, there is nothing that a man can do that a woman can't do. On the other hand, there is 1 things that woman CAN do that men can't do. That is the right to chose parenthood. There is no legal way for a man to opt out of fatherhood. Women currently have the right to have abortions in all 50 states, though to varying degrees. Obviously they will sa…

As someone who I identifies himself as libertarian, and gets bunched up with Republicans. I laugh. The left is born and breed on identity politics. We need X because A group is oppressing B group. At least to me, I have always seen far left ideas based on concepts that individuals lack any agency. 3rd wave feminism is based on the same rules. Seems like a match made in heaven. As for actually legitimate rape threats probably not. Did they recieve comments with this like "Oh u r getting so fuking raep r n", extremely likely. I personally am not a fan of the whole MGTOW movement. They take a lot of what the MRM complains about and then essentially encourages men to cut themselves off from the other gender. They also bash women for having multiple partners. Yes, women having multiple partners is becoming more normal and it goes against male animal instincts. But it is unfair to bash them for it. MGTOWs complain about issues of the state, but are often not in the vicinity of a vagina and WMD of the state (baby mortgage…

Clearly, Slat knows nothing about gaming. Anyone who says go after the games and the men who tamper with game reviewing, ignores the fact that gamers have been bashing this situation for awhile. Companies buying reviews and such. We know about it we complain about it. It just so happens that this topic has been beautifully meshed with the other thing MOST gamers hate, the whiney SJW-types.

I consider myself an MRA, but to be honest this isn't a story. This woman is a glamour model and former-hooker.She was likely"gutted" because she couldn't play dress up with a little boy. I personally have experienced that women who are extremely into their looks, often want to have girls. So they can turn them into "little thems". It is an MRA issue, because like many things in America. They are tested on the poor and then implemented on the middle-class. Black "culture" is an example of what happens when you have uneducated individuals being reared in a matriarchal environment. People who believe that it is okay to have high number of partners are usually people who do not match my personal views. I am not saying she needs to be a nun. It has nothing to do with feminism, but everything to do with them being lazy & cheap. But to be honest, FIFA itself is a shit organization and doubt it will do anything. It can't even do anything about the ridiculously blatant racism in the sport. Europeans always tout themselves, as always riding the moral high road in comparison to America. Then you look at how black players are treated in the sport and you realize they are probably in fact worse than Americans.

The best part about the whole situation. Supposedly, this female game developer did something that many men do in the gaming arena. That is to simply "buy" good reviews. She supposedly used her vagina instead. This came from a post her boyfriend made naming 5 dudes who work in the gaming industry. So her vagina becomes part of gaming because she inserted it into gaming.Total Biscuit basically said if she did it she's a scumbag and that the people who gave her positive reviews for it are scumbags…

Basically, a lot of this article really boils down to that hyper-liberal, "excuse me mr. white male, you do not understand the struggle so you are not allowed to comment or question on anything" mentality. As a black male it is extremely frustrating, because often times the light to mild racist, is just a negative reaction because if they can't say shit then they just get angry. It really has nothing to do with furthering their own agendas. It is mainly white women who had to "suffer" their husband success, who "illogically" wanted the life partner he had gained (men do not pick their partners, we gain them/allowed to be with them) to be home with his kids. Sports science would happen do disagree with you there. Blacks actually do have advantages over whites (in trends and absolutes) in a number of sports, and whites over blacks in some others (swimming, hockey). No, it has to do with men and women being different mentally as well as physically. The biggest difference of which is that males have larger standard deviations than females. It is the concept that you have the ability to manipulate the individual, as you are in a position that is considered to be a "safe" figure. It probably has a lot to do with the pederasty from early Greece, a kind of quid quo pro. Plus if both parties suffer similar consequences then it will likely move in a more appropriate direction. If the laws were lightened, it would just become "the men want underage girl' law versus being "maybe these current penalties are retarded" law.

The "feminist" I have met, have all been feminist when it benefits them. I think most of them just want to have their options open in life. Which I am sure no MRA wants to keep for them, but when you start to break it down to them. They begin to ultimately, realize that they usually want the comfortable "housewife" lifestyle and the system that produced these sort of men. Has been disrupted or destroyed by feminist. I saw this clip and I found its preview to be man-bashing. I feel there is sort of this subsections of MRAs. There are the men who kind of like and exalt "traditional" masculinity. And there are those who want to basically break the doors off of it and bring everything into masculinity. I, personally, subscribe to the earlier. While I don't think anyone should be pigeon-holed. I do believe that traditional masculinity is dying and that it catches a bad rap because it is only portrayed in a negat…

A quote from the author " I think a lot of interesting information gets ignored under the guise of neutrality and objectivity". From what I get from her article she wants to apply feminist logic to how logic-based programming languages work. Logic based programming doesn't really create anything instead it sort of weeds out garbage and produces results. Search engines are a good example. I think this is what she is trying to do. I have no idea what "feminist logic" entails. I know I probably wou…

Mainly because there aren't many ways for American men to meet males to make friends with. After the prohibition, women became a permanent part of the speakeasy, which was really the last place you could casually make friend with other men. When it comes to the concept of male friendship. I think men are actually closer, or actually more willing to protect their friends than girls are. When I was in college, much younger and immature. A friend and I would get stoned and play the "Your friends fa…

I am with you. I think that the slightly distant and objective person is extremely important to be reared with. This isn't to say that men NEED to do these things, but I think it is perfectly acceptable. The distant father who is the "disciplinarian" is the first contact kids comes into with that is uncontested authority. Something that every adult needs to learn to deal with and manage. In my case my single mother was my "father", along with my grandfathers. So I suffer from a bit of a generati…

I pretty much agree. At it's CORE the is a "feminist" issue. But it doesn't change the fact that it shows how utterly ridiculous things can be when women are given free reign. Either parties needs being ignored is wrong. http://www.npr.org/2013/04/23/176326713/for-chinese-women-marriage-depends-on-right-bride-price American men go through it all the time I am sure, as their wives essentially hold most of the buying power in their households.

You must take into consideration the following. After decades of "devaluing" women. They have become rare in China. This has lead to an increase in the "bride-price". It has also opened the door for these women to basically abuse these men. Because if you find a mate "you do every thing" to keep her. He probably realized how fucked up dating in China is and said fuck it.

The extremely interesting thing about this and Feminism. Is that a lot of the lynchings were handled by poorer whites. I am a strong believer in personal accountability. But I believe that it has a lot to do with upbringing. There are movements to try to change all this, but it all boils down to education. People who have nothing aren't really concerned with the distant future, because in their mind "lol will there be one". So the "right now"/"easy" solutions are seen as most optimal. I usually just state my point and stop discussing. One thing about being a MRA, in comparison to just about any other "less popular stance", is the emotion of the topics. If you discuss being an MRA with someone who identify as feminist. They are going to pick emotional topics like, rape and battered women. The discussion immediately goes out the window as most women, can not discuss these topics without becoming emotionally involved. This is why feminism is so powerful with many women. You will…

Gang violence, drugs and eating habits. Not only the extreme consumption of fast food. African American cooking, is born of times when blacks were doing manual labor 12 hours a day (slavery) often using scraps. As a black male, I will say that the number of blacks in jail is a combination of many factors, mainly education, poverty and profiling. Also the systematic removal of fathers and replacement by the "state" for any poverty stricken group contribute to this. Public education in poverty stricken areas is pathetic. I don't think Danny Brown was raped. As someone who listens to his music, it doesn't surprise me something like this happened. Even if he didn't want it, if he turned it away. It would completely be the anti-thesis of his gargantuan sexual nature he has built up in his music. Sex & Drugs that is really all he raps about. And lets not forget, his penis is in her mouth. One of the weakest positions a man will ever be in sexually. In summary its a good publicity stunt.

TBH, I have no problem with her being let go. Condemning someone in a logically flawed system doesn't make other situations better, thats feminist logic. Hammered. This is basically it, feminism has focused on changing laws to "improve" the lives of women, but have gone to the point of exploiting men. Its not about "chivalry". These societal norms, I think most moderate MRs don't mind, but when it comes to things like alimony and child support. This is where we are at odds with feminism and to be honest, I often feel these things go against the concept of the self-sufficient modern woman that feminism preaches about.

The biggest issue with the modern feminist movement is that their goals were basically achieved, and now you have professional feminist pushing for superiority.
