Thanks. Sounds along the lines of action rather than words which I didn't think of last night. Although the action very closely followed what I told her I was intending on doing. Similar to "going to the gym" then walking out the door.

Thanks for opening my eyes to the fact this is still a covert contract. I thought I was doing it right by not displaying any butthurt to my wife and just bottling it up. I realise that is wrong as there should be nothing to bottle up. Probably would have reached boiling point soon enough and started a fight with her over her lack of housework.
