If you want dating advice there are subs such as dating_advice, askReddit, and askMen. If you are a short male you can ask for advice on r/short. Ask men who are actually successful in dating., preferably the ones who had long relationships or married men. shower, shave, buy some new clothes, hit the gym, go out there and meet someone, seems like general advice that everyone should do, males and females should take care of their health, hygiene, and actual go out to meet people in person. If mee…

The instances when a man should be able to opt out of child support would be if the couple is unmarried, the man is pro-choice, it is known that he does not want to be a father before having intercourse, and he used birth control, also if the women tricked him (for example if the women said she was using birth control but she wasn't) The problem I can see with men opting out is that they could lie. To opt out in your scenario all it takes is for the man to say is that he just became aware that t…

I do agree that calling a women female isn't good, but giving a compliment to a women and calling her beautiful is fine. If she is only called beautiful instead of her name such as, "hey beautiful" or "how you doing today beautiful", it seems like flirting and if she is not interested it could make her uncomfortable.

I'm a shy person and I tend to only talk to people when face to face. So I used to work with a guy who I thought may have liked me, we would talk online sometimes for hours, quite frequently. We would take the train home after work. He would push me, playfully. Randomly hold my hand, or put his arm over my shoulder. But it turns out that's just his personality, I told him I liked him but he didn't feel the same.

That's why I believe money is a good argument not to start a family.

But having a good job and money is necessary for people to take care of themselves and their family. If they don't have enough they could go on welfare/food stamps but people would criticize them for being on welfare/food stamps, and probably say "why would they have kids if they can't afford it"

Yeah I learned Sex-ed in elementary about puberty, probably 6th grade, but they separated the boys and girls so 2004 or 2005. But in high school we learned it together, about pregnancy, and STDs. Yeah hopefully the parents teach them sex-ed, I guess it would be more gender neutral because when I had puberty books female, women, and girl were typically used, so was gender specific.

Yeah I understand that the parent did not feel like the gender they were born as, or the sex that corresponds with their gender. The paperwork, at least birth certificate is sex, not gender. I have watched some transgender people video, and they say non binary is gender, so it wouldn't be on the birth certificate. If the child is undetermined on the document but they later decide their gender is women, they would still have to change their documents like a male to female would. I don't know too …

I do agree that intersex or those with ambiguous genital, sex should be undetermined. So it can be undetermined, female, and male. But sex should still be based on genital not the parents choice. I don't know much about the sexual organs of intersex people, but females have certain organs that males don't which is important for certain diseases like ovarian cancer and to educate the girl about puberty and her period. I thought nonbinary was a gender

The parent keeps mentioning the child should choose their gender but birth certificates have sex, so I don't understand why the sex is marked as undetermined Only if the child was intersex would I understand if the sex had undetermined. I don't see how the child will go through their life and not determine which sex they are, especially when they go through puberty. There are schools, doctor's office, other people, the internet, tv and many other places that the child will learn that most people…

No. It tends to be scary at night, especially If the guy is quite close and much bigger than me.

Sad to hear that, so I'm guessing you are unable to reproduce (sorry if that's offensive), but you can adopt. But I do understand it would suck when I'm ready to have kids, hopefully in my 20s, and I'm unable to

I do believe if a women meets the one, the guy she would want to spend the rest of her life with and he wants to be with her, then I think there is no need to date other people. What I was trying to say is that in your 20s is the time when I believe most people date others in search for a LTR. You have to keep dating other people until you find the one. The only way to know if the person is the one would be to date them. Like sometimes after dating someone that's when you either realize it's not…

I understand. Especially when the kids are older the parents can travel around without them, or don't have to worry as much. I'm just a paranoid person, and I wouldn't want my kids out of my sight especially in a foreign country. Currently I have no kids but I do have younger cousins, niece, and a brother. If I go out by myself I just have to worry about myself. If I go out with kids now I have to worry about them too. Make sure they eat, keep an eye on them, make sure they don't drown if they a…

Settle down : to begin to live a quiet and steady life by getting a regular job, getting married, etc. Source: Merriam-Webster I really do think that people in their early 20s don't get married often, they typically get married when they are older. That's cool that you're married. I see marriage as being with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, but of course some people do divorce. I think marriage and having a family is a good thing but it also means that someone has settle…

The things you said sound reasonable. Personally I think people should get married and start having kids in their mid or late 20s or early 30s but before that I think they have more freedom to have fun. Once you have kids the first thing you most think about is your children. Before kids you can go out party and be drunk or tipsy, which I think people should experience once while in their youth but they should be safe about it. Once you have kids (especially if the kids are young) you have to th…

I feel like this was a reply to me. Diversity is people and culture. Food is apart of culture but it's not the only part. I think ethic restaurants are a good thing. It's kind of like traveling the world without having to travel. I mostly eat jamican food but I also like Italian, southern, Korean food, etc. I just feel more comfortable being in an area that is diverse (black, white, asian, etc) I like meeting people of different ethnicities. Western Christian is fine, I just don't want an area t…

Had to Google hyper-consumerism to make sure I understood it well. "refer to the consumption of goods for non-functional purposes and the associated significant pressure to consume those goods exerted by the modern, capitalist society, as those goods shape one's identity." I don't think it (hyper-consumerism) is necessary to have a fulfilling life. I just think everyone should have fun, by once in a while going to restaurants, or traveling, which requires money. I think owning a house and car ar…

Mahattan is the city with skyscrapers and more apartments, I believe the most expensive part of NYC The cheaper, more affordable and reasonable areas have houses, and also apartments it's more of the suburbs. Yeah I should give more thought about moving to other states. But I also like how diverse NYC is, I also like more liberal areas rather than a conservative or very religious area. Maybe in the future I will move to another state or even upsate NY if living in NYC is too much of a struggle. …

Lol, thanks. I lived in NYC all of my life, I don't really want to move, but if I have to then in the future I might. Also I don't even live in Manhattan, I live in the cheaper areas. Curious which state do you live in? Is it more affordable, what incomes do families tend to earn that's desirable?

Well I live in NYC, in order for banks to lend money, at least where I live, they want at least a 5 figure income ($60,000) perhaps it's cheaper in other states. So $60,000 just to buy a house(edit: not to buy a house just to get a loan inorder to afford the down payment, and then over the years pay the mortgage) then there is insurance, cars, clothing, food, bills, some money to take family vacations. I think a family with $60,000 income is alright, but $100,000 seems much better, so between li…

I think 2 partners making 5 figures each is doable, it also depends where people live. I also think a nice house and yard is desirable. Personally I would want 2-3 kids so a 4+ bedroom house would be good, don't need a mcmansion. Its not impossible just easier when the parents have more money. Our parents did it and many other parents currently do it. But some of them live in rodent infested apartments with their family because they can't afford better. I grew up in 2 family homes, that were inf…

Personally I don't think people should get married in their early 20s, I think they should focus on school and their careers more, and they will have more freedom to do what they want. When I was a teenager I thought I would be married in my mid 20s and starting a family (currently 24 so it may still happen, but I doubt it). But now I think it's best for me to focus on earning money to support my future family, and to be able to buy a house. If people want to have kids, and are able to afford to…

When people have children they don't have as much freedom as they did before. They can't go out and party as much as they used to. I meant they can be more carefree or they have more freedom to do what they want in their 20s (before they have kids). Do you disagree?

Is the peak of their youth in their 20s? If so they should enjoy their life, such as traveling, partying, meeting new people, trying new and fun things. Its a time when people are dating but not really settling down (getting married). It's a time when people should be obtaining a job that's more of a career, but they are also still figuring it out. I think this also includes men in their youth.

It's a bit weird when someone is dating another who is as old or older than their parent. For example it is a bit weird when a women dates a man who is as old or older than her dad. It would also be a bit strange in reverse, like if a women was dating someone as young or younger than her children.

Just another swear word to me. Always sounded like a strange word. Watched the vagina monologue and realized that it made some women uncomfortable, but the host wanted to take the stigma away from the word. dont hear the word used by Americans.

So I'm a woman and for me this statement means if I were looking for casual sex it would be easier for me to find someone than if I were looking for a long term relationship. Also I don't think this statement is saying that men can find relationships easier than women, but that women can find casual sex easier than men. And although a women can easily find casual sex, it is harder for them to find a long term relationship For example if I were to join a dating site and say I'm interested in find…
