Additional difficulty for women though. Liars If you say that very early on. All men, the abusive or not, are going to say of course I’m not like that You’ll only know through subtle clues early on and then later when you are in deeper with them

It’s become a popular talking point on Reddit and become actually political issue in some countries like Columbia and Thailand It is a very real phenomenon

To be fair he did mention using fingers and he’s admitted to his current not finishing. Some women do finish quickly and sometimes multiple. I’m inclined to believe

It’s a long running concept used in most major religions especially the Abrahamic ones. And it’s kind of infiltrated through to media and in the past few decades men’s online spaces. I used to just believe it was a completely real thing. That penises caused obsession and ownership and unbreakable emotional connection for women. It was only as I got older that I realised that it was mostly bullshit. The idea though of sex creating pair bonding is so deeply entrenched through our world view both i…

Exactly. I find this repeated situation to be fairly ridiculous. Especially in the US, the only reason why a Gyno wouldn’t operate for cash is if they were being repeatedly sued or taken to court by women who changed their mind. ‘Misogyny’ is way too simple an answer
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 03:51 PM

I don’t know much about the situation. are these posts just ‘banter’ or is she actually having sex with other guys. If it’s just disrespect from her (still bad) but a big line from actually doing it. His strong reactions tells a story though

She sounded like a nightmare before pregnancy. And then was the one who asked for it.
/r/Divorce_Men14/03/26 04:16 PM

Nah that’s actually a very good way of phrasing it. She wants the sex to be part of a balanced life. Without a lot of constant pressure . Without trying to ruin other aspects of life. The examples of cutting a fun adventure late at night short are very good examples. Even as a man. If you already have an active good sex life you wouldn’t/shouldn’t be desperate to go back all the time.

The problem is that the original purpose of the group is borderline acceptable. It was intended as ‘is this guy’ a threat , criminal or patently abusive. But as you would expect it has just descended into a catty gossip column. With completely unacceptable posting and tearing down of random men. For any reason.

Yeah I just mean accumulative knowledge about a persons past naturally comes up over a duration. Not necessarily specifics . But a vague idea of number of ex’s and/or whether they did casual encounters

Arguably a heavy heavy heavy part of Islam is ensuring that most men have complete access to at least one woman. So much of the religion is geared towards this With more powerful and conquering men allowed more.

Not really . What I’m saying is that just because they don’t have that role in courtship and attraction. Doesn’t mean that when the right circumstances are unleashed it can’t be activated.

I don’t think that’s a fully logical step. They probably are. But there’s still a social expectation that men make the moves and also , often overlooked, women are attracted to men who pursue well.

that’s part of the responsibility of womanhood . There are so many ways to vet a man before having a child that can increase your odds of success. E.g. family history, employment , known to your friends as a respected man, religious community , Charity work , your own individual read of the man and your compatibility . All kinds of things . It doesn’t always work out and some people can hide in the shadows. But there are plenty of options a woman has to increase their odds of obtaining a reliabl…

Dude this is a PU board . Part of the process of being young is learning the charisma and actual picking up part. It’s not the place to tell him just to focus on long term stability .

The long standing argument from that side is that social and legal freedom leads to casual arrangements, promiscuity, hypergamy and a large chunk on unpaired or unhappily paired men. they argue it’s a social problem leading to individual effect

/r/TheRedPill25/09/25 11:26 PM

No because being attractive in all senses of the word (physical, character , charisma , status etc) will always help in a relationship. Once you are in one it doesn’t mean guaranteed anything. Attraction still has to be maintained for it to be successful

An ideal red pill type man should hold the view that if he she gave him purity and youth then he will be honourable and protect her during motherhood and age. Of course a lot of these people are hypocrites and won’t follow through

Wut? Some women are boring, some women are shit stirring drama queens , some are needy and annoying. But some are absolutely wonderful. It’s odd to blanket opinion entire gender
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 11:37 PM

Men that blanket label women as boring is a huge red flag for actual misogyny Some women are legitimately boring but if you find the problem keep coming up, then you are likely the boring one or you have a general distain for women
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 11:09 AM

You are seriously confusing being socially defunct and being quirky. Plenty of men can be atypical and quirky but still know how to run social situations. You are right , in that socially defunct men are treated far more harshly than socially awkward women

We live in a service and exchange society. This has been the case to a certain degree for 1000s of years. I am a man. I still ‘rely’ on others to fix the boilers, the roof, sort out complex tax affairs, represent me in court, I rely on Chinese women in a factory to make my sneakers and clothes , I rely on pilots to fly me to vacation spots. People rely on me to diagnose their medical conditions, inject their joints and biopsy their cancer. That’s how the world works. This is just being in a soci…

I think the idea that the OP is trying to convey is that getting quick easy access to sex via hook ups , one night stands and quick flings is actually way more difficult than perceived. The main comparison being fiction all of tv, movies , songs and books. And popular culture narrative. Also compared to women’s experiences. If they wanted to they could have an ONS instantly ( with the obvious risks you described) Getting this as a guy requires a heavy amount of skill, luck, situational awareness…

/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:48 PM
1

I believe the shared experience and I’m not so quick to dismiss it. It probably isn’t that easy to sniff out bad potential . However it still is primarily their responsibility and can be done. In the same way courting, eliciting attraction is often the man’s job. It’s not easy but still their responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:18 AM
11

Nobody said it was easy. But it’s still a responsibility for women in most dating dynamics to actually make that choice.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 10:42 PM

That’s the thing there is no true replacement. It’s like a fun expensive and exotic way to get off. It does not replace mutually wanted experiences at all
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 02:44 PM
11

Nah it’s just so different. In most normal sexual interactions the other person wants to be there. They kiss you and say nice things that they mean. There’s usually some chemistry and desire. It’s a completely different ball game with a hired gun. Almost obvious that they don’t want to be there despite acting (if they can bothered). Very jarring for someone to get kicked out straight after. You’ll probably get off but it really is like using an expensive dolly
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 02:43 PM

There’s zero intimacy and sexual validation with using escorts. It’s like expensive masturbation

/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 02:39 PM

It’s two very different sides of choice. I think most people saying choose better mean choose better in terms of agreeable personality, responsible, emotionally and financially stable. Most people are saying be less picky in terms of attractiveness, wealth , status and/or superficial charm

Rob the savings would surely make a difference . As that makes a clear change to marital savings . I’m probably (and very sadly ) wrong but what’s the story
/r/Divorce_Men12/03/25 02:22 PM

OP is saying to avoid the faux commitment from those women who were previously hypergamous. They will look at the average guys as a fall back I don’t necessarily agree with OP but his point is reasonably clear

/r/Divorce_Men03/01/25 12:26 AM

As a max number month or two is reasonable. Sometimes it happens much faster . How do you expect to find a low body woman (like you say you want) if everyone puts out ?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 12:05 PM

Again valid point thanks for the discussion. I think the bottom line is do not settle for someone who doesn’t show active effort and attraction towards you. E.g. low sexual interest from the get-go , low effort for planning dates, or insert any other feature that you find important. (I don’t agree with OPs first date malarkey for the record)
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:52 AM

I agree to some extent. People change, circumstances can be specific, moods can vary and relationship dynamics vary. you shouldn’t take every slight personally. However I think you’ve taken it way too far with this. “If you’re truly bothered by the idea that someone once did something with someone else and your relationship with them is different—you are not yet in a mature headspace to start a relationship. This isn’t even gendered. Both men and women need to understand that you are not in comp…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:42 AM

I’d change that to within the first month or 2 and I’d agree. First date is a bit wild imo. (As an expectation) obviously it can happen

if we accept your evolutionary psych premise. The answer is that the hypergamous behaviours you describe would have been formed over 100s of thousands of years/ pre human and early human mating behaviour We’ve only had societies that actively control mating and monogamy over the last 10,000 which wouldn’t impact base desire or change those primitive instinct. Just the rules. I.e. death and ostracising women who didn’t obey

Why? Just on to the next one. Not everything ends great. Sometimes you get ghosted, sometimes it’s awkward, sometimes it’s fun but not serious other times you fall in love. Enjoy the ride. Life is random. No need to get butthurt

I think resorting to violence only describes a small amount of men and usually it’s paired with poor economic opportunities. But it does happen, not necessarily with school shootings; but with many instances of civil unrest. But I personally would not bother contributing to society without any hope of being with a woman. There just isn’t any incentive or point to me. I might do a bit above bare minimum so that I wasn’t bored and could afford basic luxuries.

You make a good , well written point. But the last paragraph is not what happens in the real world. You’ve inadvertently highlighted a serious inequality. Vast vast majority of men , especially if they have resources are not going to be content let alone truly at peace if they don’t have a woman. They need a woman for sexual intimacy and often also want a woman for the added social status, companionship, organisational and emotional support that comes along with it. And maybe that’s the differen…

I understand why you feel like that. But people often lie and change history to make themselves feel good in their decision making. /r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:25 PM
3

Highly highly debatable . I’d argue that a cardinal sin of many RP gurus and the crowd in general is the mantra that if you make money and go gym then ladies will just magically appear out of nowhere. Whereas I think that developing social skills, dating skills, circle of friends and emotional stability are extremely important. They don’t just come out of nowhere once you have a good salary and fit body. At the very least both are important. But the social development is highly neglected.

It shouldn’t be that surprising. Think about how huge the diamond, wedding, sex tourism, porn industries, designer brands, advertising are . Trillions of pounds . I’d say for most men securing sex is their primary objective. And if they are dry will do anything and spend anything

/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 04:56 PM

That’s not what I said. Obviously that will be part of it. But the amount of uncultured , awkward, shitty behaviour is quite high. And then there will be natural incompatibilities e.g. religion , politics, race, personalities to add in as well
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 12:41 PM

21 BMI limit you have there is pretty extreme. Any woman with a bit of butt or curve is going to fail that.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 07:01 AM

I actually don’t agree. A lot of women don’t find success on dating apps because they deal with a ton of low quality. Not necessarily ‘ joy mr Uber chad’ but rude behaviour, dry chat, over sexualisation , crap profiles, not the right demographic (e.g. racial /religious)
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 06:58 AM

I was having a convo with my wife when we were dating. I essentially told her that without my libido and drive for reproduction. I wouldn’t have bothered with my high stakes career. I would be doing the bare minimum to survive and occasionally treat myself.

Your post is correct in that some women will barely/ never do it ; particularly the quieter, less social and nerdy ones. Others , usually , more out going , social and (often) attractive ones do it more . When I first started dating her , I thought the shit tests were fun, exciting flirty challenges. I passed them and it spiked attraction. Now we are married I didn’t realise that it would just…

This. But with an important additional point. Don’t admit the struggle/ difficulties to anybody else particularly a woman you’re dating. They won’t understand or have any sympathy for your numerical disadvantage.

I wish more people understood that you can improve social skills. It’s also a win win situation because it just means more people having a good time
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/24 09:28 AM

To an extent yep. But set yourself some mini goals E.g. talk to 5 new people, keep a conversation going for 10 minutes, tell an interesting story to more than one person listening, exchange social media/phone number with one person. Etc Treat social skills like one would approach the gym or a grindy video game. It sounds autistic but it actually works. Develop a mindset where failure to hit a goal isn’t the end of the world just give it another go. See Real social dynamics/ Owen cook for some mo…

My Arab Dad (a non sportsman but successful guy) once told a famous pro footballer at a party: “ I bet the feeling of the ball hitting the back of the net is better than ZA ORJASM” Completely irrelevant to the gist of the post but I love that man dearly.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/24 02:01 PM

Agree with this as well. But that is partially an attraction thing but also related to mate/offspring safety. Not many people understand the internal confidence and attractiveness aspect. You phrased it quite well
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 03:15 PM
31

The difference here is safety. A random female hook up is unlikely to cause damage to most males. Whereas a random guy hook up could abuse, rape, stealth contraception, hit, impregnate the woman. So at least a basic screening for safe and stable personality features is usually necessary

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 02:05 PM

I think it’s a different thing advising someone on sensible precautions and safety vs blaming a victim for what they were wearing. There’s a hole in that logic somewhere but won’t get into it now
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 01:30 PM
2

I didn’t read the article . It’s just one persons experience / a small amount of data. As opposed to millions of real life experiences. Being short sucks. Most of us realise that. I’m just sharing my experience that I’ve always hated it but made the most of life and not let it get in my way
/r/ExRedPill08/07/24 05:05 PM

I think it’s just something you have to accept and live with. Most people have some kind of flaw or deficit or problem and you just have to make do. Similar height to you and it’s never reallly really held me back in life. Maybe wasn’t in the A team for sports as a kid and maybe was quietly rejected for it. Maybe the occasional comment every now and then. But like you I just kind of think about it a lot. Occasionally run into a group of people or be in a crowd and feel like a child. And get down…

You can meet up for your place normally after a few dates. Just a bit of perseverance and patience. Imo it’s an unfair expectation of women to have them just come over without knowing you. And also think of the safety issues surrounding it
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:30 PM
2

They have. The sexual drive is overwhelming for some
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 04:10 PM
2

Correct. Divorce is part of Islamic tradition whilst not encouraged it is not considered innately forbidden like in traditional Christianity
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 08:51 AM
7

It’s a full trade off though. The dowry is there but the expectation is full traditionalism. The woman isn’t expected to contribute to household income, the man is not expected to contribute to any domestic labour and sexual consent is deemed permanent. I don’t like it either way but just explaining how it works.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 07:28 AM

The second paragraph is horseshit. It’s not difficult strategy to have a good conversation and even flirt without leading with weird sexual shit. You learned how to talk to people politely in pre-school

Committing to someone else emotionally and physically is the deepest relationship one can have. There’s nothing else as deep and nothing to compare it to. Note that I said deep. It’s a deep relationship that can cause immense pleasure or pain. Usually a mixture of the two

Some do. Especially when they are younger. It varies . But one of the things I will add is that men who cheat on their partners are often ugly, weak socially or have other problems they are deeply insecure about. Which leads them to seek validation through cheating

I disagree. Living and managing by yourself is very easy. But most of us want companionship, a social life, sex , romance , someone to talk to, children, etc If I was happy being single and living by myself I would. It’s the easier option

As in they are fairly independent factors. You can be a morally good person but not attractive to a certain person. You can be a person with poor behaviour and morals and yet still be attractive to someone. See grandma example
/r/ExRedPill14/05/24 12:28 PM
11

You still haven’t internalised that being a morally good person isn’t the same as being sexually attractive. You don’t want to fk your grandma golden girl friend just because she made you tea and called you a lovely sweet boy .
/r/ExRedPill14/05/24 08:24 AM
9

You joke. But I was 19 years old when I came to this realisation. And it blew my mind. I wandered around my flat repeating “ women are people” ; “women are just people too” “ women are people just like I am a person” “omg I figured it out” For a good few hours lmao
/r/ExRedPill14/05/24 08:21 AM
6

You are still conflating moral goodness with attractiveness. Both genders are generally attracted (especially short term) to physical traits, confidence, excitement, fun and carefree personalities. Being a morally good person or supportive on women’s rights is pretty independent of whether they want to sleep with you
/r/ExRedPill14/05/24 08:18 AM

Yeah just bin her. I can tolerate someone who believes in social injustice and wanting to rectify it But to base her identity and first date conversation on the impact of patriarchy is an immediate trash bin.

I have very little sympathy for placeholders. Women have the majority of choices and benefits in this system; if they fail to make the right ones it’s also on them yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 06:53 PM
3

Agree with the first bit. The onus is largely on you to make the effort and keep the good vibe. I disagree with the reddy black pill take that women are sniffing around for a better option constantly . But I would meet you halfway and say that if any man allows the relationship to become boring or tense then she is much more likely to go monkey branching
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 06:02 PM
3

They are easier to pull but will damage you in the long run. Humans tend to go for the lowest hanging fruit and end up poisoned
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:07 PM

Yes for sure. But it’s still worth trying. Being honest I have no real childhood trauma. But A lil bit of bullying , physically small and an isolation from girls when I was 0-18. I basically spent 18-21 really really trying to fix it. And it worked and set me up for the rest of my life
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:05 PM
29

This is a lovely story. But for guys reading. Long term relationships are not a breeze. It still requires active dating and an attraction between the partners. Getting complacent and allowing the relationship to become stale is probably the number 1 thing that will end in pain for you. Especially/ usually for men in particular. It’s always going to be some level of effort if you want a quality relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:02 PM

That’s not true. If you manage to grind out some self improvement in social skill, looks, money and attitude. You can go from a forever alone type guy to having a modest mid type wife. Or go from having a relationship with low levels of attraction to a higher quality woman who actually wants you. Self improvement is always worth it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 01:40 PM

What you’ve written is objectively true. But on a personal level each man must do what they can to the best of their ability otherwise nothing good will happen. A person who was dealt a shitty hand and didn’t have many positive social experiences growing up has two options. A) Do something to make it better even if it’s diffficult and b) painful or do nothing and give up. Option A is always going to do better unless it is a severe anomaly or mental illness like the OP mentioned. Doing is better …
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 01:37 PM

I think the theory is that sexual liberalisation has allowed people to date and get a flavour for everything. Sometimes people get a taste for people outside of their ‘league’ ; maybe a hook up but cast away for commitment If they were never exposed then they would be content with the person in front of them (Not saying I fully buy into this; but that’s where they are going with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:50 PM

I think the point they are making is that the new world of online relationships is pushing people with completely different lives onto each other. Sometimes it ends at date 1 as there is nothing enjoyable to talk about. But worse is that the relationship can ride out through the honeymoon and ugly incompatibilities start to surface Edit: I should say the more interesting point they should be making

I was at a wedding today. And I’m getting married myself in 2 months. But I come from a culture where the value of family, religion and community isn’t completely shot to death.

OP’s point is a very poor one. In the sense that the hypothetical question was about a randomly selected man not the partner that you have chosen to be with.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 11:27 PM
1

The question never states grizzly bear. It just says bear. I still think it’s fecking ridiculous and deliberate obfuscation of the truth. But the question just says bears and in a forest (not trapped with) . 70% of bears in North America are black bears which do not specifically predate on humans. And would still leave you alone especially if you ran, didn’t provoke it, or made some noise. It’s still a bit stupid but not quite as bad as your making out
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 11:25 PM
3

Yes to an extent. But I wasn’t really having that debate. A lot of guys I know have done this to women with perceived lower value
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:00 PM
2

Ehh to be honest I do kind of agree with you. Especially if the simp is taking her out and acting like a boyfriend without any physical stuff at all. But I’m consistent in that I don’t have much sympathy for either. Both the simp and strung along woman need to sort their shit out themselves. And should take responsibility to remove themselves from that scenario
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 04:47 PM
3

Women are more likely to just reject you or laugh at you. Or at worst keep you as a friend and let you be an orbiter. They are unlikely to fk you and fake promise a relationship. Or promise marriage and babies then bail. Obviously my opinion/ anecdotal but the whole board is IG
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 04:42 PM
1

Yeh . It’s pretty standard dude behaviour to keep below par girls on the down low. Seen from myself (only occasionally) and plenty of men I know. I only loudly and proudly declare a woman as mine if she is worthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 04:36 PM

Oh no honey. even if that’s state policy hopefully you agree that’s it’s seriously immoral. Especially if the named father wants to contest it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 01:28 PM

That’s an absolute bullshit statement to make about men. Men are notorious for not committing, future faking , low effort , hiding from friends/ social media to women they want to bong but don’t want to have a formal relationship with.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 01:04 PM

The 2% number is the lowest estimate I’ve ever seen. It’s much higher I thought. Like 5%-15% depending on the study. It’s supposedly much higher in France but now difficult to prove because of their horrible laws
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 11:28 AM

In general they aren’t so bad. Very weird with their paternity rights though. I’ve heard it’s because cheating and extra marital affairs are rampant in the country. And they can’t be bothered to deal with it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 11:26 AM

I would stick to your boundaries. You’re being more than reasonable and just weeding out the wrong type of guys . Or at least the type of guys that won’t take you seriously. 1 - 3 months for the full act is very reasonable if the guy suits your long term goals. It’s a tricky balancing act for women. And most men won’t understand the struggle you face. almost every single guy will stick it in if you let him. So I’d say give some physical interest but only go all the way if the relationship is goi…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 10:15 PM

Fair counter point. My view is that there are steps before sex to show interest. If there is some physical intimacy like hugging, kissing and a bit of touching there is no doubt of your interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:04 PM
3

Can you do it by yourself ?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 08:59 AM

It’s not that complicated. Their advice is to Date appropriately and then choose a guy who suits you best. Avoid giving yourself away physically unless it’s committed. That’s their advice. You obviously don’t have to listen to them

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 11:32 AM

I agree with your ‘most brain dead’ take. Being selective is different from raw drive. Just like you being unwilling to fk guys doesn’t mean you are not as high libido as gay men for example
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:37 AM

I mean that would be a shit position to be in. Your woman turns on you after stopping BC

/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 06:20 AM

Anecdotal isn’t it. I’ve seen my fair share of happy relationships and miserable ones . Decided it was the right thing for me with the right person. There’s obviously a lot of talk of women’s spaces online and a massive movement in places like Korea. But haven’t witnessed that many happily single and loving it women above the age of 25 in my own personal limited experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 06:34 PM

30
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 06:12 PM

As I said the married women I know range from delighted with their life and husbands to miserable. Most single women I have known are actively seeking relationships and marriage . Obviously anecdotal but this is my experience
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 06:02 PM

A mix. Some husbands dislike them and take them for granted ; others adore and cherish their wives. But that’s not really what I was going for.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 04:42 PM

I think this is a massive female COPE. I’ve met very few women who are long term happy single or have no desire to be in a relationship.

A lot of People are fucking idiots half the time
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:18 PM

It’s an interesting question. Answer is I’d hope not . I want all intimacy to be based on attraction not fear. But the truth is probably yes at least a little bit whether that is spoken or unspoken. A man who is well nourished like that is extremely unlikely to cheat unless he is a total piece of shit. Whereas you can empathise more with a man in a dead bedroom who is desperate be more likely to turn at any half opportunity.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:17 PM
2

Hmm it does sound like a deep incompatibility. Particularly if you have broken up already. That usually doesn’t end in success. We of course don’t know all the details of your relationship. But I’m curious about that point. Would you not allow your ideal man who made everything just work out for you; have say 2 or 3 days in a year where he could have his friends and just have a guy day. I’m a big proponent of rewarding a partner who is good to you. It’s conditional; I’m not saying always be a do…

Do your ages play a role here? Have you allowed yourself to hear his inner reasons for not wanting to make the next steps. If you really belief he is practice gf-ing you or future faking from the bottom of your heart then you gotta leave. If he’s just a bit young and unsure then stick it out
/r/RedPillWomen06/04/24 09:57 PM

That’s the only way it works well. Sounds like a happy relationship. It going one way for either man or woman would not typically end well
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 04:06 AM

To me that’s wild. But at least it filters out matches for you. It’s a good thing to be clear about what you want in a partner. Have you gone to an all inclusive and just chilled out and be taken care of? I don’t understand how anyone could not like that

If he’s faced an entire life of rejection with no success then yes sure. But if you live an active life in a city/ community/ college; you run into hundreds of women a year. Just because you don’t date them for whatever reason doesn’t mean you are fundamentally unattractive

I don’t speak for the sub. But I mean that there are guys that can absolutely attract women/ have quality relationships that hold deep held red pill beliefs. The best seducers are those that go undetected. But there are other guys that will hold red pill beliefs and come across to people and women as bitter , weird and desperate.

Do they say this stuff to you and then don’t mention it to the women they’re dating. Because that would make most sense.

Superficial rejections don’t mean anything and you should not take it personally. They are rejecting you based on an initial impression and could be due to a million different factors. From race, to not being single, to not wanting a relationship, to job , to not being a type, because she was tired and wanted to listen to music. If you formed a romantic connection with every single woman you encountered life would be absurd. It’s not supposed to be like that. What would hurt is forming a bond wi…

It’s a fine balance between being mysterious and a boring guy with nothing to say. Play the chill approach but if there aren’t enough rewards along the way don’t be surprised if she loses interest and finds something more shiny to play with instead

Obviously our samples are just anecdotal. But I’m not sure I agree about the geography or at least your angle on it. The age gap relationships I knew that broke down were because the guy was older and more settled but the woman was still young. The woman wanted to go out and explore and dance. The lights of the city got them. But the guy was unable to keep up. And you could blame both parties. But ultimately they were incompatible in part due to their age.

The age gap relationships I know ( 6+ years ) haven’t worked out. Due to change of the younger person and lack of commonaility mostly

I vaguely agree. But I think you a simplistic in viewing it as some kind of sudden death or one hit KO. Over the course of a long term relationship you WILL make mistakes and have moments of weakness. It’s just inevitable over that period of time. And if it was sudden death then there would be no functional attraction or relationships that exist. However persistent: weakness, insecurity, indecisiveness and inability to bounce back is certainly a relationship killer. And I wish the mainstream wou…

Oof you made me think of one more male example. One of the unfaithful women’s father was a serial cheater for years. I guess bad people are just bad people. All the recent examples in my life of cheating forming new relationships were women. Men have been more often caught being sleazy like porn addictions and strip clubs. (All anecdotal)

Are there studies . Especially more recently because I think it’s definitely at least even’d out. In my own circle of family and friends ; I can think of 5 infidelity examples and 4 of those were when the woman was the one in a relationship. The other unspoken truth is that if a women wanted to it would be so much easier than for a man. So many sad stories on Reddit of men being caught on dating apps empty handed or with hookers. So maybe the intent still lies more with men but a similar number …

A lot of people live in a grey state of semi boredom. Over-confident , expressive people and even assholes offer some variety to life. Which is why they attract people. It’s a reason why there is a lot of contempt (sometimes subtle sometimes not) for quiet or plain people. Because they don’t participate in that social contract of alleviating the communal boredom.

There is a prime for men. A man usually gets into their stride late twenties and early 30s. Usually have more financial independence, social confidence and direction that a younger version of themselves. I know quite a few guys , anecdotally, that are so much more put together and also successful with women in their late 20s compared to 18-25. Your mileage may vary of course; people take all kinds of trajectories for better or for worse I don’t necessarily agree with their perception of the wall…

The onus in a typical situation is still on the man to put forward the moves. Even if she is into you. Only the most the brazen of women will ‘launch’ themselves . Most receptive women will just match your advances. The other thing is that office parties there’s likely to be background comfort and trust. They know each other and have some history. A young adult man and a woman who like each other and are alone will almost inevitably end up doing it. The key factor you’re probably missing is being alone. If after the Christmas party they went for an extra drink or food or check something out at their home. Then that’s how it happens .
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 01:20 PM

Most men are hypocrites with porn. They would probably not tolerate their woman watching it. Imagine if they spent considerable time picking categories and could only get off if there was a variety of body types and chose specific dicks to get their rocks off when in the mood. Most men would not tolerate even 10% of what they do.

If you’ve been in a good LTR you know that the libido gap isn’t as unequal as you think. There’s many reasons why women don’t act like men. Aside from possibly slightly lower levels of desire. The other 2 big factors are: Safety. Women live in fear of assault and coercion. There’s a risk with an unknown man. Social stigma. Whatever your view on body count; women do get judged by large portions of society for engaging in sex outside of relationships. You have to be exceptional or meet someone who…

“Attraction cannot be negotiated” is a scary truism. IMO who cares if a random isn’t attracted to you. Onto the next one. Where this is really dangerous is in a LTR. Attraction is selfish. Cannot persuade someone to be attracted and stay attracted. Attraction doesn’t care if you’ve lost your job. Attraction doesn’t care if you have a mortgage and kid. Attraction doesn’t care if you got sick or have a bad thyroid. And once it’s gone it is difficult to get back. Look after mutual attraction in a r…

Not denying your points. They are true. But even in those cultures women will have had fun experiences and dates with exciting guys. Even if sexual encounters were off the table. There is no happiness and fulfilment for straight men unless you take action to be attractive. Whereever you might be

/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 04:38 PM

Out of interest do you think it’s always conscious or sometimes just reflex?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 12:09 AM

True but it’s a necessary part of life I guess. To help you feel better, realise that if a woman didn’t test or resist at all, she could end up in a situation of abuse or unwanted children alone. If you view it as part of their survival and selection mechanism then it really isn’t that bad :-) In OP’s situation it was a very gentle , “I’m not comfortable yet but next time probably”. Traditionally the reward of taking the initial steps and relationship escalation is the above. But it makes sense as the scene become less ‘traditional’ for there to be a balance with both ends and i therefore understand your complaint. End of the day though it’s you who is able to define your relationship and the roles

Gen Z are truly a bit weird. But in general I like them. They have a lot of creativity and mixed influences from being raised by the internet. Prefer them to millennials in a lot of ways. Just my opinion

The kids dilemma literally changes everything about this situation. Any woman with kids from random runaway fathers is not exactly going to be appealing to most eligible men And the 20 yo being prime doesn’t fit into the context of modern living. You would have a more realistic and thought provoking story about say a 24yo and 29yo both without kids. With people agreeing and disagreeing.

In general though I mean. You kill someone. Christianity has perfect forgiveness in that if you’re truly sorry God will forgive you. But the person won’t come back from the dead and it won’t guarantee their loved ones won’t get revenge or hate you. Or immunity from the legal system etc
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 11:05 PM

In Christianity your blank slate can happen with true repentance or baptism. But that clean slate is with God. Your ‘sins’ can still have real life consequences.

Your list is pretty extensive. Imo every single person on earth carries some baggage from their upbringing. I agree it’s important to vet but more vital to see which you can cope with and which you can’t. Substance misuse is a bigger red flag than a teasing culture at home for instance.

If your going to be an AI and think the purpose of life is SMV value. Then I’ll play along with you. But acquiring good friends, a social circle and or respect in a community. Is literally status. Overly deep and personal conversation with people you don’t know is considered anti-social, disturbing behaviour. That in itself is breaking the social code and indicates to the other person that you are not well socially adjusted. This in itself is likely to cause rejection (especially from the women but also men) rather than the content. What are you not understanding. And have you tried this yourself (to a well adjusted guy) ?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/22 04:29 PM

People are telling you the truth. Most individuals on a first meeting will not be able to tolerate that level of depth and vulnerability without being alarmed. Especially women listening to men like this. Jesus they would all run. Edit: even if it’s not negative stuff…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/22 04:19 PM

My point is that it’s very weird talking about personal issues and problems without knowing someone. You have to have basic interest and trust established first. Before moving onto heavier introspection. do you do this to people in day-to-day interactions? And how do they react?

Our definitions of game are basically the same. flirting= eliciting attraction and seduction= closing the deal. To keep a lady interested that stuff has to continue throughout. With a sale once it’s signed through it’s finished. Humans don’t work like that. It’s an ongoing back and forth.

Dude I think the other guy is saying that women who like you will give you lots of easy opportunities to escalate. Not necessarily will straight up ask..

Force yourself to just go for it. Hold her hand. Get close and go for the kiss. Most guys (at least the types who hang on Reddit) play it way too safe. Better to hear a no or not ready yet. Than to do nothing. I went on my first date yesterday since my serious LTR ended. And just forced myself to go for it. She likes me. She wants to you escalate. Sure I was clumsy and a bit awkward but at least I made it happen.

It’s actually insane that most of RSD’s ‘real’ content has just vanished from the internet. Like a whirlpool of knowledge just gone from the public eye ( for reasonable business/defamation purposes I know but still…)

I don’t think it’s that wild. being reasonable that giggle was at the very least her thinking about some fun times with other guys/in the casual scene. Some men can handle it; some can’t. Especially traditional types or those with insecurities about their own lack of experience. What else would she be laughing about. Lol

Text game can be learned. Just practice being loose and fun with it. If you really need to find some scripted material to run, maybe have a beer or two to loosen up and get in the rhythm.

Sentiment of the post is fair. But you are getting involved with the woman of an abusive man. Stop right now before you end up curb stomped bro.

Speaking from the perspective of the average non criminal Redditor. You are much more likely to regret the things you didn’t do.

This might come across as BP. But change your target demographic. AWALT refers to certain core traits and expectations of men but personalities, value systems and types vary widely. Go somewhere new or different from your usual type to find someone.

Was this a slow or sudden change from the person you married. Or did she already have these traits from the start. Sorry for prying. I’m just curious

I like the idea. But the use of average isn’t helpful for most of us. If the study was about young men in popular cities within the USA the standards would be much higher. And our goals would need to be higher

Here to back up Intermittent Fasting. Changed my life; essentially reduces your feeding window. Allows you to enjoy a decent meal or 2 with plenty of macros for muscle and energy. I found it really easy to maintain 15hr fasts and for longer if I wanted to.

IUD (copper) I think you Americans call them 'paraguard' are not hormonal and therefore cannot change behaviour. IUS (mirena or skyla) acts locally and therefore can affect behavior but less so than the pill. It is the single most effective birth control method aside from abstinence. And many can feel it at some point during intercourse. Not sure why it's getting bashed.

To start with I've campaigned relentlessly for Trump + Brexit for the best part of a year now. But there is nothing wrong with female politicians. Clinton is a shitbag because she's a shitbag not due to her gender. She's also not stupid; that woman is exceptionally ruthless, manipulative and ultimately good at what she does. She couldn't get elected imo because she's been in the public eye for too long and the internet exposed MSM lies. My country has Maggie and Theresa doesn't look awful so far…

Religion in my opinion is a great example of LAW 38: "Think as you like;behave like others". It can be a great tool to foster a sense of community, loyalty and a tribe that will fight for one another. Many also contend that it's a great place to meet a woman as they are beholden to a code of conduct and their behavior is visibly accountable to the community. However obviously there is no need to literally believe in religious dogma and stories yourself.

Socialise--> find girl--> build comfort and sexual tension 1-1--> 'lets go dance" ---> escalate physically--> kiss---> take her out of there again to build more chemistry/comfort----> try to pull out of the venue---> if it fails back to the 'lets go dance.
