I get that, but cultural norms come in to play in the dynamic as well. Some cultures are just starting to open up about casual, sex, and men who are moderate or conservative, are absolutely aghast. It’s not as much of the case in the more developed part of the world. Other cultures are apt to marry a lot younger still.

Yes, people don’t actually want to leave their pain behind because it is part of their identity

Logic has its place in attraction and romance but probably around the ratio inversely proportional to where you’ve positioned it. Hey if you date a data scientist or engineer, you may get a higher dose of logic and formulaic behavior in the seduction process.

No one is doing anything to you. You are on control. You’re showing signs of paranoid belief patterns, magical thinking. It’s a bit schizotypal.

An objective topic. Some of my friends think psilocybin mushrooms are dangerous drugs. I’ve tried psilocybin mushrooms and had a mild and beautiful, spiritually insightful experience. I think they’re helpful plant medicines. When I talk to them about it, they are afraid of it and can’t hear anything different because they’ve been told all their lives that it is a dangerous drug. At that point, I drop it and connect with them on things we have in common. And I still love them and have a good time…

I am not against hook up culture. That’s not a defense, that’s just my belief and it’s OK. You don’t like hook up culture, that’s your belief, and it is ok. For people who are secure with themselves, they are comfortable with others having their own belief set. People in relationships with secure attachment styles actually have partners who they a love even though there are things about them they can’t stand or beliefs they don’t agree with. The moment you try to crawl up somebody’s ass and get …

Look according to this study, fewer young adults are having casual sex https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/2378023121996854#:~:text=The%20decline%20in%20casual%20sex%20is%20apparent%20for%20both%20women,to%2024%20percent%20in%202017.

I see a bunch in this thread dude. Casual sex sucks. It’s better in romantic relationships. They don’t share your obsession on the topic, but they fit your criteria. You’ll be ok. Any idiot with a megaphone these days presents opinions as facts. Influencers, mainstream media, politicians. They’re called narcissistic and sociopaths.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 05:54 AM

Looks like most women aren’t really in to casual sex. Some have tried it, and they think it kinda sucks. I’m a dude and I think it kinda sucks. I might do it again - but there would have to be a true emotional/spiritual connection in a short period of time which really happens.

Whoever says young people “can’t love” are yanking your chain, bud. Those three points you cited are other people’s opinions. They are not the norm. You’re creating a boogeyman for the sake of having a boogeyman.

Why do you ask loaded questions like a low rent tabloid journalist?

I wouldn’t look into it too much. First, single is often so considered not married. How well did the survey spell that out for the survey takers. I’d like to see this replicated. Survey companies like Pew often create a panel of people to survey over and over again. What kind of people join panels? Weird, broke incels. Let’s say 60% are single. Does that mean INVOLUNTARILY single? Not necessarily. Hey - if you want to believe that you can’t get a date, that is what your reality is going to be. Y…

We’re talking about men. So to be overly literal, attracting a mate isn’t easy for the majority of men. Why should it be?

If you bring up sex too soon and too overtly in the conversation, it scares women off. You can talk about it more openly after you’ve establish a lot of trust and rapport. Even when you’re hooking up, you don’t say “hey want to come over to my place and have some hot, hard, sex?” Lol. No, you say it much more subtle, “hey, I got the new xyz movie queued up, let’s crack a bottle of wine, and have a cuddlefest while we laugh our arses off.” It’s uncouth to just start yammering overtly about sex, r…

There are some some who have casual sex. There are many who do not. You’ll find many to choose from who do not like casual sex. You’ll be ok. Don’t let the popular narratives make you think it’s widespread reality everywhere. It’s not. Also - you can’t control society. Sure it’s trending towards more openness toward casual sex. It still doesn’t mean the majority of women are having it. Accept the things you cannot change, have the courage to change the things you can - those things you can chang…

What’s about flirting on the first date? Romance, winks, signs of sexual attraction but not overt talk about having sex. Does that fly?

I tell you what, most women don’t approach attraction, lust or romance like a friggen auditor or engineer. Lol. My ex used to say “bop-boop-beep-bop, I’m a robot” when I tried to apply a logical solution to an emotional act.

There are plenty on Tinder not using it as a hookup app. Plenty. It’s reputation isn’t reality

What they’re really complaining about is average guys not having success with 7-10s. 60% of the population is 1-6s, lower your standards

When should they be getting married? Society is pushing out the age. Marriage isn’t needed anymore unless you’re in a conservative backwoods culture

Attracting a mate isn’t easy. Why should it be?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 04:34 AM

No because 50% of the population is average. It’s an idiotic fallacy that only 20% of men have women in their lives. Statistically impossible.

The miserable incels want to believe only chads and good looking guys get women. It’s country dependent too. Situation in India is very different than US.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 04:32 AM

What happens if you talk to him about it - say, “hey I overhear you and it grosses me out. It’s really affecting my psychology.” And leave it at that. Let him react however.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 04:30 AM

Why do you think would a general statistic like that would change how someone FELT about obese women? People don’t go to the almanac to statistically check their belief sets lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
