The gym where I lift weights overlooks an indoor athletic field, which is used by soccer, lacrosse, and flag football teams. Like anything else, fighting effectively is about repetition. If you train consistently in whatever your discipline is (grappling, boxing, MMA, kickboxing), you won’t burn out in 30 seconds. From my perspective, a couple of added benefits are that your adrenaline will be under control when you are confronted and you can “see” what your opponent is going to do. Just my 2 cents worth.
