I look hygienic, jacked, nice haircut, all that. I make near to 6 figures a year, so more than your average westerner. But yes, my tinder pics are really not showing what you described, have a big problems with pics...

bro, during our "friendzone" period, she used to text me all the time, telling me what she's doing etc. Since we started dating, she started playing the hard to get. it's not one example. One other day i tried to set up a date for the following day, she didn't reply at all, she prefered calling 8 hours after i proposed, i missed her call, call her back, no response. Already was about to break up because of that occurence, because i was like, can't you just fucking answer by "yes or no" a text? …

Ouff thanks dude. That's what i thought, what does therapy has to do with my very specific practical situation... Yes i'm not a conservative traditional person, i do get that my LTR is independent, can go out, go on holidays, have goals. All that. But to me the whole point of being in a relationship in my opinion is chemistry, encouraging each other in his goals, being present in each other's lives, etc. That's what my current LTR seemed to be looking for, but her communication style just infuri…

People on reddit are all telling me that it's me the problem. That i should go to therapy because i expect my LTR to reply within 24 hours to my text. Very rarely did people told me it's just my communication style and that i should keep going and maybe i'll find someone who matches my energy. Everyone was like "WOMEN ARE INDEPENDENT. SHE IS BUSYYYY!! DO YOU THINK YOU OWN HER??", yes i know, i don't own her, and that's why i'm not fucking engaging with a person like her. What happened to the not…

You're so true about the gun things and that no one is forcing me to do anything. I can still easily pull out of all this shit. And i will. Sad i lost all this money on therapy though. It helped on some things but anyways...

Thanks dude. What happened to men is that they grew up following a model but turns out that model is not viable, like, at all. If i raise a kid i wouldn't raise him to the idea that the be-all end-all goal of a life is finding a partner you love and founding a family. It's just not true.

Man. I wouldn't have expected to find such a wise response in this subreddit. I didn't find answers like the one you gave in any other subreddit. I'm sleepy right now. Just wanted to thank you for the perspective and giving such a understanding message. Thanks for you time. Wish you all the best.

Right. This is all because of the therapy and entourage brainwash "age is just a number, what's most important is feelings". So i chose to follow my feelings, and now i'm more invested than a fucking 33f. LOL. And apparently i'm needy and clingy and need therapy. Therapy for what? For accepting to be in a relationship with 33 that doesn't love me as much as i love her?

That's one mistake i do is making generalizations out of reddit posts. It's not because some random women over the internet say that a behabiour is clingy that it means all women over the planet think the same. Just as any human being it depends on the personality and not the gender. I'm cured. This was the whole point of my post. Expressing the worst i can think to challenge it with a healthier, less biased, way of thinking.
/r/ExRedPill06/06/21 09:14 PM

Not the point of my post. I'm just surpised, years after i stopped engaging in relationships, that today, wanting to be in touch with your partner, wanting to share your life with your partner, is labelled as "clingy". That's it. I would love to find a woman that wants the same level of involvement i expect, but all women want to be independent today.

Being hung up on any one person is what's called being in love. When i meet this girl in person everything is smooth and funny. But in text she takes too much to reply. I don't like it and fins it disrespectful. And apparently, expressing my disappointment about this is clingy and needy and toxic. Because "women are independent" and she doesn't have to reply to me.

Then theredpill is spot on. I don't know what's wrong with a man enjoying his life hitting different young women.

Thanks for your advice man. But i think you're missing the context. We were best friends and clicking and calling each other all day for months, before i admitted my feelings. Anyways, i'm not completely retiring from this as it's maybe just because we're in an early stage in our dating. I'll see how this evolves and if she will still continue her behaviour.
/r/ExRedPill06/06/21 07:51 PM

Independence is not scaring me. I've been living years having sex with women left and right with no attachment. I can continue this way. Engaging with someone to be independent is called flatsharing.

Thanks for your message man it's been therapeutic. Initially the idea with this girl was that we will try things out. Now we are trying things and i can already sense some red flags. If things continue going this way, i'm just going to break it off. Simple as that. I don't know why i'm so stressed out regarding this scenario. Probably because i'm too much into her. Also the fact we're colleagues doesn't help much. Anyways, i hope everything is going to end well.

Man, "serious relationship" today is being both independent, not rely on each other etc. If i expect something more romantic, i'm defined as clingy and toxic. That's what reddit is telling me.

I'm not at a good place at all. Been in therapy with an asshole that kept judging me, influencing me, making me lose my money. I don't think i have the energy to start all over again therapy. I did overcome my social anxiety by myself 4 years ago with simply self help books. I can work on myself and avoid extremist thoughts like the ones i'm portraying in this post. Anyways, as you said it's only one experience, but i think it's going to be the same with other women since what's trendy today is …

It's the fact that she is 33yo and told me during our friendzone period that she doesn't have time to play around, that she wants to build something serious, that makes me act this way. But apparently she's just like any other woman : She don't like when a guy is too invested in the relationship. I already know that and as already said never been needy for years, been dating multiple girls for years no problem. Hi man thanks. When we both admitted our feelings, we decided that we're gonna test things out, if it works, then perfect, if it doesn't, then we're both adults and we should move on. So now we're officially dating, and i don't think i can engage on the long run with a shitty texter, not replying for 24h is just unacceptable to me, no matter how needy or toxic it may be qualified. I think i'm going to break it off. But should i tell her it's because of her shitty texting? Or that would come out …

Thanks. Finally someone that doesn't come with the "You're super toxic and possessive dude! You don't owe her!" argument. Nowadays having feelings and expecting some chemistry and proximity with your partners is labelled as madness. She ended up answering after a day and apologizing for the absence. Not investing too much attention into a woman to avoid "scaring her away", is not the right reason to not invest too much. You'll figure that out when you'll be older. There's some shit you just can't fake. I agree that not investing too much into anyone is healthy, but doing it for the purpose of pleasing the person is doing it for the wrong reason. My 2 cents. That's the whole problem with the game/seduction community.

Thanks posted here to have dumbass perspectives like yours. Been living years with the philosophy you have of "talk to other women". It worked a lot, in fact i ended up fucking a shit ton of toxic girls and dumping them. This girl is different, i rarely have feelings the way i have for her. I know how to act as you told me, it's easy when you don't give a shit about the person. Anyways, i'll balance out this because it's common sense. Thanks.

Thanks. Definitely not ending things with her since i love her so much (i don't necessarly tell her "I love you" don't worry haha). I'm just worried that the fact she is not replying fasr might mean something else (her being not interested at all). Anyways, when things will get more serious. She will probably be taking more initiative, be more open about her feelings. At that point i'll bring those little things that bother me. Now is maybe too soon. We're not "official" as you said.

Mostly extroverted. she is quite introverted. I'm extroverted but not an "outgoing" guy necessarly. I overcame my soxial anxiety with CBT 3 years ago and people can't imagine that i've been socially anxious and shy before... Everyone sees me as the guy who's friend with everyone in the workplace, who is funny, etc. But that's actually just me exposing myself.

Thanks. I'm definitely not going to make a whole story out of this with her. But i will probably step off a bit and stop being always initiating contact and texting. I'll keep it to the strict minimum, setting our dates. I'll see how that goes. As i said in another post, i don't think it is productive to tell her that "she doesn't reply fast". I mean it's either i'm a priority to her and she replies fast when she see messages, or i'm not. Like her not replying is just a symptom. Or it may be jus…

No worries brother. I'm not forcing anything. I'm not even thinking about telling her that her not replying fast is bothering me, because i think that it's either she naturally wants to text me or she don't, you can't force that kind of stuff. If she is always like that, then i'm just going to move on, i'm not going to try to change her, we'll end things and that's it. I will "retire" and let her make efforts. It is also the fact we're at the same fucking workplace that doesn't help much with distancing myself. I should remind myself often how i would've behave if we weren't working and interacting with each other daily professionally.

Been twelve hours now no response. I do get she's probably busy with the wedding. But i can see her online 30minutes ago on WhatsApp. I mean, she couldn't just take one minute to reply? Isn't that kinda disrespectful? Last time something like this happened (was the time i posted that reddit post i linked to you), she explained to me that she didn't reply because she preferred calling me rather than texting. So maybe it's the case again... But i don't know. Twelve hours is a bit too much.

No we never told each other the "i love you thing". Short story: been super cool colleagues, used to flirt with her a lot, never showed interest, she never did, but we both had feelings for each other but had doubts about reciprocity. We had a period where we stopped talking to each others for 4 months. I ended up telling her my feelings. She told me i should've told her way before. She accepted a date. First kiss. Bam. Nevermind they didn't necessarly use that term but that's how i felt they judged me. Some advised me to break up with that girl because i'm unstable. I didn't like it and kinda hurts when you love someone to hear that type of advice.

The rush is more about us testing our relationship and see if it works out. Cause if doesn't work out, that means more time lost for her, and you know, biological clock for kids etc... I don't want her to hate me for wasting her time. But we already discussed this and i'm bothering on stuff she doesn't care about. I should stop thinking in place of people for themselves...

I know it's dumb but the fact she is 33F plays a whole lot on my current anxiety. I should calm the fuck down. I don't think i'd be so rushy if it wasn't 33F. I think the fact i might come out as needy in this situation (asking her if she arrived to the city and initiating the contact first) is bothering me more than the fact she doesn't reply. I'm anxious about coming off as needy and putting her off. But that's not necessarly true. She doesn't know what's all going on in my mind right now. All…

Thanks thanks. Weird thing is, i've been years without engaging in a relationship, now that i'm in one where things are supposedly about to get serious (her intentions aren't to play around), i start becoming codependent. I don't get how i can live years without attention and codependancy but as soon as i'm in a relationship this problem pops out. Anyways, still, i have to work on this shit. Thanks for the site.

Okay. Thanks for the perspective. I'm doing therapy by myself on this. Using CBT techniques and mindfullness to calm down. So what should i work on in therapy? The fact that a couple doesn't mean necessarly spending most of the time with your SO? This is just hollywood bullshit? So a couple is more like some sort of roommate agreement where you have sex at best 3 times a week and share some common goals?

Oh you're a moderator here? Please don't ban me actually hahaha. I really use reddit as a therapy tool, only inconvenient is that unlike in therapy people here judge me, but i handle it and have enough perspective to not be bothered by it. Thanks for the perspective. The way i was seeing this is that she's not into me as i am into her. I do get that we are early in the relationship, so it's normal to not be communicating everyday etc, no commitment etc. But there's also another way of looking at this is and it is that she isn't involved as i am or is playing games. But the way you put things is quite helpful and calming. What makes your perspective sound relevant is that we are actually really clicking, like when we date things ar…

Expecting from your SO to reply to you is toxic. Because women today are apparently busy, they want to have a relationship, they can be in love, but at times during the day, they only want to talk to friends and not their SO, that's the way it is! "I don't have time to engage in an emotional discussion! Quit being needy and toxic! You don't owe me!!"

I want a fusional relationship, where both me and my partner see and project in the future together. But according to today's standards, this is "toxic". And a woman and a men should have separate lives while still being in a couple. They should leave each other space blablah.

I rarely get attached like i'm doing with this woman right now. I don't necessarly get all hyped up after one date, neither two, neither three. What's happening here is that i have feelings for this woman. I love her. And like any person that you love, you wanna be contacting her everyday, that's it. If you think this is abnormal, go ahead. Thanks for your advice. Clearly it was not a good idea to date this woman given my personality and more specially the fact we work in the same service. I asked her by now (after my post). I actually already told her that i wanna breakup. I get that she's busy but i'm not ready for all this. I need someone to be as involved in this as me. Sad that i'm like that and not like those other many guys. I actually wanna dial down the need of her being more expressive, the need of her loving me as i do, i wanna dial down all this. But i don't think it's even worth it. A part of the feelings i have for her, everything in this woman doesn't match my expectations. Okay. I may be overreacting but that changes nothing to the fact that we're not a good fit. Maybe i need to continue therapy to work on being less needy, maybe i need a woman that actually values these needs and isn't as "busy" (like how you talk as if we guys are unemployed). Here's one response he gave me on another post: im 24 and forced to be a virgin for life. Women on reddit, women IRL dont talk to me or treat me like a human being, either that, or they are in a relationship, literally all of them, or married. I doubt women offered you goods for sex. As a working man, I am told I dont make enough money, women say this regularly, and blame me and blame me for being alone. I work, work, and work. Im in trade school as well. Its not enough. Im hoping after i learn …

I saw his other comments and he really sounds like a good person but that unfortunately had experiences that confirmed to him all TRP's bullshit. He sounds young too, probably sexually frustrated. I know how hard it can be, as i am myself sexually frustrated. Very easy to want to accuse all women when in that state.

What women? How old are you by the way? You don't sound like you met enough women. I met women that asked me for sex and prepared me food to have sex with them, my only behaviour was to have sex with them. What are you talking about? Is the only woman you ever met in your life is a hoe in a whorehouse?

Don't feed him... He sounds so ridiculous i wouldn't be surprised if he is a pure troll, but not a fun one.

She ended up initiating first today. But still, i'm "butthurt" for the lack of frequency in our communication. I know it's only been one date, but we've been in good contact for a good while before things got weird when she presentend me her friend. Now we're in another step but kinda trying to get back to the old vibes while handling the "weirdness" of dating right now.

Why is this community just as toxic and non-sensical as the original RP? Men fertility doesn't start declining around the same time as women's fertility. A simple google search proves it and everything knows that not only TRP people. It's a fucking biological reality and is quite accepted everywhere. I am strongly against TRP ideas and working on getting myself rid of them, but not at the expense of buying into new bullshit. So no, men doesn't have the same biological clock as women. Stop spread…

Thanks for your feedback dude. Is showing insecurities a good idea? Or you should be filtering some stuff? With this girl, we had a period of 4 5 months where we stopped talking to each other. It turned out it was a hard period for both of us, she admitted to me that she lived it with a lot of difficulty. Now she accepted a date, but for example this weekend we didn't talk at all... I like talking to her, but i don't wanna rush things out. She told me that it may take some time for us to get to …

If i'm writing here it's actually to challenge those distorted ideas and have some perspective from you guys. I'm working on all that redpill (but it's not just rp it's also my family) and therapy not only helped me a lot in being conscious of these misconceptions, but also challenge them and replace them with "healthier" alternatives of seeing things. And that's why i came here. But all i got served is judgement. I know this girl likes me, that's one of the reasons i fucking like her. But years…

It's a biological reality it's not about me or you. A 5 year younger woman would mean she is 23 years and we can spend up to +10 years together testing things out and focusing on our careers and our couple life. If things don't work she can still go find another man with whom she can have kids. With 5 year older woman we can't allow ourself this. And i don't wanna hurt her. If i was an asshole i wouldn't be thinking about this and just continue seducing her to get all i want from her, the day i …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
