Haha, thanks for telling me what I'm feeling. I'm actually pretty amused right now. I only brought up my education right after criticizing the OP for hers because I knew everyone would freak out.

Being an asshole discredits me? OP's response was about how I am a terrible woman and a terrible feminist. She was pretty smug about it. But I am not a woman and I do not claim to represent feminism. But, I guess she's suddenly correct because I was an asshole about it??? Didn't know that's how things work.

Lol, I never claimed to represent feminists. I never said I was a feminist. The MRAs are the ones who keep bringing up feminism. You can't help it.

I mis-read the comment and thought he said something different. If he would like to re-submit it, I will approve it. I've tried reaching out since shortly after I realized what happened, but haven't heard back

Hi all, it was mistakenly deleted. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and sorry for any confusion or hurt it caused. If the poster would like to resubmit the comment, I'll let it go through. You probably won't believe me, but consider this a good faith gesture.

No, my methodology was not flawed. It did exactly what I thought it would. Get MRAs to admit that they think hitting women is ok. You really aren't making any sense. How does it help your cause by admitting MRAs have an irrational hatred of women? That's what I was trying to show. Mens rights activism cannot exist without an irrational hatred and fear of women. Once MRAs come to the realization that not every woman is a spermburglar, the movement will die.

You outright admit to designing a post that was crafted to take advantage of what you identified as a source of paranoia for this group. Then you claim that any response they have to this is somehow indicative of their core belief system. Yes, this is true. MRAs are paranoid that women are out to steal their sperm. They believe each woman is a threat who wants to trap men into paying child support. This leads directly to their nutty political and policies beliefs. The movement is motivated by pa…

The funny thing is that I don't think any better of myself for having exposed you guys.

Sigh. Arguments about methodology are an evasive technique MRAs frequently use. I delete them on principle. Putting hot sauce in used condoms sure is solid advice to a person in need of help. The post was a reflection of MRAs most paranoid fantasies.

Ah, I mistyped some words. I meant to say "MRAs seem to think rape only happens to men and that all women who claim they are raped are liars." I actually agree that men can be raped. Improving conditions in prisons and such is actually a pretty good policy goal. What I take issue with is that MRAs use the existence of sexual violence against men to trivialize it against women. How much do you want to bet that the people cheering on the troll poster for punching a woman would be the first to say …

Several comments used that word and i deleted them because I didn't want that on my blog. Also, it's disingenuous to say that I am a rape apologist. If you carefully read my post, I outed myself as a troll specifically because I was concerned people would continue to think this situation was real and use it as a justification to hurt women. Rape is bad. Across the board. MRAs seem to think rape only happens to women, and that all women who claim they are raped are liars. I've read your stuff for…

I didn't realize I was going to be arrested. She told me I had until the end of the morning to talk with her. I was planning on doing that, but the police showed up early. At least they have evidence she tried to black mail me.

I don't care if you believe you me. It happened. I'm more worried about avoiding jail time than I am convincing people on the internet I'm real. I only typed up the craziest messages and voice mails. She was practically incoherent with anger. Other messages were more normal. I messed up BIG time not breaking up with her. I won't make that mistake again. I liked having sex with her, its as simple as that. I thought hiding my condoms was enough, but yeah, I'm a fucking moron and now I hate myself …

I wish I could believe you. It just seems like all rational discourse stops the minute people hear a man hit a woman. We have no chance for justice in such a society

What i have saved is what's in the other thread. My friend was supposed to come over yesterday with a camera but I was arrested before he could. The cops seized my phone as evidence so I don't have it any more

I thought I could be safe with condoms. I read /mensrights a lot and know to keep my condoms safe in a location she couldn't find them to tamper with them. She's incredibly hot and I thought I could manage. I will never be trusting again in a relationship.

I don't want to tell the police I punched her until I'm sure I can say it was self defense. I'm trying to figure out if I can defend myself from theft

I don't have money for a lawyer. Is this enough for a self defense argument?

It's a legitimate concern. The justice system is stacked against men in favor of women. If I get a woman public defender, how can I be sure she will adequately represent me if I'm charged with punching my girlfriend? Feminism and tribal identity are strong biases for some people to overcome.

I don't want to have any communication with her, but I feel like I should be on the record at once in a text saying "I never hit you and you know it"

What kills me about it is how snaky she is. She doesn't ever mention the condom in text messages, just the voice mail, which I don't think I can download to prove blackmail. What if I'm arrested. Can the police delete my voicemail? How do I save this evidence?

Here are some of the texts: 1: I can't believe you hit me 2: We need to talk, right now 3: Pick up your phone 4: I'm going to call the police if you don't answer this phone Voicemail transcript: [Yelling] You fucking bastard, how dare you punch me for what I'm entitled to! Call me the minute you get this god damn message or I'll call the fucking police and end your future. CALL MEEEE 5: You think you'll ever get a job when they know you're a woman beater? I don't have a camera, but I'm going to try to type up the messages. Should I post them here to document them? How else can you archive messages on a cellphone without using a camera?

Thanks. She's really hot and I thought this baby stuff was just a little quirk I could put up with. I should have known better. Don't worry, I'm not going to be as forgiving in the future.

I can't tell you how much your support means. I feel like the whole world is against me. I was only doing what was right in the situation, but the system won't see it that way.

That makes me sick to my stomach. Women get control over their bodies, but men don't??! This is an insane world we live in. How can they get away with this? I feel totally trapped

Oh my god, I knew the system was stacked against men, but I never realized it was so fucking insane. How can we call this a justice system? I can't afford a lawyer. That seems to limit my options. Either call my GF's bluff and get arrested, then get a court appointed lawyer, or I string her along and try not to have sex with her. I am in freak out mode. I have until the morning to decide and I'm really scared.

Contacting my family might not be a good idea. My parents are real big feminists and I'm afraid what would happen if I told them I hit my gf. They wouldn't understand the kind of pressure I was in. That's the worst part of this experience. I can't trust the system, I can't trust my girlfriend, I can't trust my parents. Men have no voice or advocates. That's why I'm so thankful for everyone's help here. I have spoken to two close friends but will start calling others.

I don't live in a one party state. She's given me a deadline of tomorrow morning to respond to her ultimatum or she's going to the police. She's been crafty with how her text messages are worded. The threat is in a voice mail. I can try to type up the messages if that's helpful. She says she has pictures of her stomach and she's not afraid to forward them.

That's a good idea. I'll delete this account once I figure out a path to take, I just want to make sure I can keep asking questions until I know what to do

I didn't know if that's what I should do. I see that it would not be a good thing. I'm not lying, I'm just very very scared. I know how much the system is rigged against men and I'm afraid I won't have justice.
/r/MensRights02/04/12 12:34 AM

Should I call the cops pre-emptively on her for theft?
/r/MensRights02/04/12 12:18 AM

I'm leaning towards taking her back just so she won't call the cops and then dumping her in a few weeks. But how do I avoid not having unprotected sex with her?
/r/MensRights02/04/12 12:17 AM

I don't plan on talking to the police, but I'm worried about having a lawyer appointed to me. What if I get a woman lawyer? Will she really help me? I just don't trust the system because it's so rigged against men.

Can I claim self defense in any way?

I really don't think she's pregnant. She tried to steal the condom because she wants to be pregnant and I won't consent
/r/MensRights02/04/12 12:04 AM

But if she calls the cops even though I have self defense (is this correct, is that what you meant by freebie?) won't I still be arrested? I don't have money for bail or a lawyer or anything and I'm really scared
/r/MensRights02/04/12 12:01 AM

I'm doing that, but what about witnesses?
/r/MensRights01/04/12 11:55 PM

She says in her texts that she has a bruise. I think I hit her pretty hard, but it happened so fast I don't really remember. I didn't want to hurt her or scare her, I just wanted the condom back. I tried to grab it a few times but she kept moving it away and she was about to leave. I wouldn't have ever touched her if it wasn't the absolute last option I had. Please don't think I'm a terrible person

I have some friends I can trust. How do I start documenting that she's blackmailing me? Do I get one of my friends to say he was in my apartment when it happened and that I never hit her?
/r/MensRights01/04/12 11:33 PM

If I keep ignoring her, she's going to call the cops. I don't have money for a lawyer. What would happen if I'm arrested?

Yes, I'm in the US. I've NEVER hit a girl before. There's no abuse in our relationship (aside from the emotional abuse I'm feeling right now). So the police can't charge me with that. I'm feeling a rush of emotions right now. Should I feel guilty? I'm a good person, I was just pushed to the brink

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
