Physical Health Wrecked from Divorce?I'd also add this: take blue ink to paper and start journaling your thoughts every day. When you write things down, you can go back later and see what triggered you, what emotions you were feeling, and how your mindset changed over time. Just scribble your thoughts onto paper. Getting them out of your head and onto a page helps slow your mind down. For me, I struggled for over 6 months with restless nights—waking up at midnight, 1:30 a.m., and 3:30 a.m., while still needing to be up for work at … | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/06/26 02:05 AM

What does your successful post-divorce "Day 2" look like?I feel it man. But look at reality realisticly. She has a new man and you are not there. There is no relationship that ship has sales. Now it's strictly business about you kid. That's it. Kids need shoes sure here half. I'll pick her up at school no need for drop off or see you. Logistics and financials now is your relationship. Accept And move on. Ohh it F@#$ong blows and hurts like hell. I've been given myself affirmations. My children don't need a perfect father, they need a present one. | 10 | What does your successful post-divorce "Day 2" look like?Reading this honestly hit home for me. I’m only about 5 months into separation/divorce after 13+ years together with two young kids, and I’m just starting to feel like I’m coming out of the initial shock phase. Some days I still wake up thinking “how is this my life now?” especially seeing my kids only 50% of the time. That part hurts more than anything. I still miss the family unit, the routines, birthdays, dinners, all the little things you take for granted. One of the hardest parts for me was… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/26 12:27 PM
Do you need to hear this?Yeah, it’s rough out there. We were together for over 13 years and have two kids, ages 6 and 4, and I’m only about five months into all of this. I got the divorce decree in the mail on May 4th, and it’s finally starting to hit me that there’s really no chance of reconciliation. On top of that, during a phone call with the kids during our 50/50 custody arrangement, I heard my youngest daughter say “Mr. Ken” was over playing with them. That part hurt a lot. She’s already moving forward with someon… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/26 05:39 PM
The worst part is seeing them move on like nothing ever happened. Thanks man! Much appreciated! My boss was excited for me! So I'll take any appreciation where it i can.👍😊 | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/05/26 09:53 PM
The worst part is seeing them move on like nothing ever happened.I relate to parts of this more than I wish I did. I’m 40, going through a divorce after 13 years with kids involved, and there were months where I felt completely discarded while my ex seemed emotionally checked out and already moving into a new chapter. I still love her honestly, and that’s what makes this so hard. The part that hit me like a brick was hearing from my kids that there was already another man around shortly after she moved out already sleeping over. Whether people think that’s fa… | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/05/26 09:24 PM
Wife moved on fastIts the same for me mate. I did drop off today I had a bunch of bags and stuff to give here she insisted on carrying everything inside herself without any help. I carried a small bag to the door and some guy was standing in the kitchen already with my kids in the house. What a hole and punch to the stomach. We didn't even have our court date yet. Its only been 4 months since we separated. F@#$ing sucks man. I've been doing insanity workouts to release stress and I still can't sleep at night. Bal… | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/26 08:46 PM
One day at a time my dudesYeah, has been helping tremendously. Also, had my first therapy session yesterday. Just talking to someone not involved was somewhat eye opening and after my chest felt a little lighter, deep hollow hole is still there but it was a little lighter to burden. I'd highly recommend if you can afford to talk to someone outside of your circle for an hour. Major benefit. I already scheduled my next one from a month from now. Good luck everyone! 🤞 Rooting for you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/04/26 10:16 AM
For the men who NEED to hear this - READ IT <3 & women who need to see that even we can change <3Perfect read. Thanks. Divorced, paperwork is all done just need the court date now. 4 months living separately and the realization that she already has someone sleeping over with my kids there at the same time is a hard pill to swallow. I guess she coped with it better than me, and I have to work through this by my self. I still get the kids half of the week, but wow shocker for me that a guy is already sleeping over when we just moved out of our house. Wish me luck on improving myself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/04/26 01:02 PM
