No not at all, I'm literally in a meeting with lawyers right now and about to go to another one, my world is steeped in lawyers. I get that you ARE probably a lawyer and have a huge conflict in interest here, but of the many that i interact with, through many fields, they were, in my opinion, not even one of them, "worth it". You HAVE to hire them because the other lawyers won't work with you if you don't, and then if a judge gets involved they'll agree with the idea that you need one, even if i…

If you have evidence for at fault, start there, and then the compromise will be something more in your favor. if you start at the middle ground she'll try and push you further. get a lawyer to draft it, but remember that lawyers represent their own interest (taking your money) and keep after them to stay on task. Don't fall for the "it's the principal" or the "you should" crap, ask the what you CAN do and then do that. Any "well she can't just...." they're not willing to put in a court motion or…

They are not worth the money AT ALL is not my experience, at all. at all at all at all. I do recommend speaking to a lawyer, but they're only there for you money, so be honest with yourself about what you want and if you think your lawyer is lying to you.

Try not to think about it, let it go. My ex was on match two days after i served her papers, used the joint credit card, doesn't help to worry about it, focus on what you're doing for you.

My go to phrase was "They couldn't hear anyone else over the sound of the masturbation of their own ego"

Yes, they charged me a lot of money to delay the process, made each of my stated objectives more in my ex-wife's favor than the agreement we started at that they stated was absurdly in her favor. They then got promoted to partner. We'd already said that they basically stole form me to get a promotion.

I don't "feel" like I had a bad experience with my lawyer, I *had* a bad experience with my lawyer.

do. not. stop. the sheriffs office isn't the one who decides what happens to your children.

yes get a lawyer, but yes stay suspicious and stay on top of them. my experience was similar, my ex went out during the pandemic, locked her door during her agreed upon times to watch the kids so the kids couldn't get to her, had match and eharmony paid profiles, stole the kids passports and said in an email "you have nothing to worry about if you don't divorce me", forged notarized documents, committed tax fraud, and i have her on video breaking into my room, going through my stuff, and forcing…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
