This seems to show a few examples.

The next night I go to the bar and sit in the corner, where I can keep my eye on Gloria from a distance. Had the same thought, but it looks like it's from the actual book... Link here

This. Or at least change the phrasing to "Want me to walk you home?", depending on the time with some witty reason why you should.

Another vote for Ender's Game. Another vote for ignoring the movie's existence.

Depends on the girl. As a fellow tech industry person of the female variety, there's a huge stigma on us. But personally, if the guy's in tech - it's awesome. He's more likely to understand what I'm talking about.

Ditto on this. Really depends on what you mean by "without social skills". If this means that he can't maintain any sort of conversation, can't stand to be around you due to being uncomfortable, etc, then that's different from "is shy" or "doesnt want to be the life-of-the-party"

This is exactly why I hate being a female in the tech industry. Just gorram stop trying to make everything woman friendly, there's enough bias enough as it is. My male coworkers don't deserve all this stupidity. Can't we for once, hire people for their brains, not what's between their legs?

Can you give some examples of racy things to text? If that's even possible. I always have the hardest time thinking of that part...

Oh good, a nice quick way to know when to run away screaming.

As someone with very light hair, I'm really hesitant to try this. Doesn't the hair end up regrowing darker and courser? (I've noticed it so with upper-lip hair, and am terrified of suffering a similar fate with other facial hair :()

I've been lurking around that subreddit, just not sure where to start, and don't qualify for posting there.

tl;dr - Hell no. The question is just where to start, and how to build up to how I actually want to be. I am good at empathizing, and listening, and I make a great friend. The problem tends to be when other\I want to pursue something more.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
