brutal honesty. I think I will be missing some of the comforts of home. I'm gonna go for a run and clear my head a bit. thanks for the kind words

The trip is a 2 year work term. I don't know why I'm doubting this - I hope it's because I need to get adjusted. I think this will be more difficult that I thought. I also thought the difficulty of doing something like this would make me a stronger person

I am not going to reply. This is good though. My text game is weak

Thanks for the slap. I'm on my way to the NGAF mindset. Thank you

This is a great response. Thank you! Limerance - this word describes perfectly how I was feeling. I don't think it's wrong to have certain feelings, but I need to be able to control them. I will do this. Thank you so much - this is very helpful to me

Pure oneitis. I have an activity planned tomorrow which will be full of ladies. That will help with GFTOW. I know realistically that this woman does not have the character traits that make her desirable for anything aside from fucking. I don't need to waste my time on this

I regret drinking that much, because I would have loved to get with this girl. Still - it was an interesting evening seeing TRP principles in action.

I feel bad for the guy who is marrying up this marginal person. This is my first experience with a woman post-TRP, and it's exactly like TRP said it was.

I agree - not going to call her out on being a shitty person. There is no glory to be gained from that.

Good point. I guess I probably knew the answer. Maybe I should have left it alone.

Your opinion matters because that's pretty much the opinion any self-respecting human being would have. u/fnordsnord nailed it - It's not your job to fix her. Certainly, if not you it will be somebody else. I'll say this: if I ever get married and my wife cheats on me, somebody's going to die. Food for thought. I agree and disagree. I agree because I empathize with that emotion - I've been in that situation, and I blamed the guy, so I do understand that feeling. I think there are a lot of reason…

Agreed - I am the prize, and I get to be selective. That is why girl #1 was politely told no immediately. girl #2 was TRP practice. girl #3 would have been fun, but is also TRP practice

I agree that there are plenty of other options out there. This whole thing is fascinating to me because it's my first experience with women post-TRP. And it's fucking scary because it's everything TRP said it would be. Good point on the self-respect. Besides, why would my opinion mean anything to her? I firmly believe though, that if not me, it will be someone else.

I did recognize this as a shit test, and continued to escalate. Like I said, it was well received, and had I actually wanted to close the deal with her, I could have.

Yes - I got positive responses. When we were teasing, I would make a point of touching her arm, her leg, her ear. I was escalating with girl #2 when girl #3 came into the picture. Is this the selection bias - girl #3 finds be attractive because girl #2 is ready to go?

You know, I read about the anger phase in r/TRP. I thought it didn't apply to me - I read similar stories from other users, and I thought to myself, 'why get so upset over that chick?' Now that I've been on the receiving end - meet a girl who appears sweet and innocent, think maybe I would like to get to know her a little better. Then, BAM - full blown slut. I talked to this girl for a few hours, and she was ready to forget all about her fiancee and shamelessly fuck me. But it's not her fault - …

These women demonstrated IOI (Indication of interest) in you and it seems you didn't really want to fuck either of them so it all went nowhere No intention of fucking girl #1 or #2. Would have loved to fuck girl #3 though Are you insecure about your performance in bed? Is something else an issue? Are you gay? I'm insecure about a whickey-dicked effort where I couldn't perform. At this point I was working towards a second meeting. No other issue, and I'm not gay. I simply drank too much prior to …

I don't think I'm selling myself short. I'm confident, attractive, great smile, in shape, good job, and I'm funny and engaging. She also pointed out my confidence. That was a particularly good night though - 3 girls basically offered themselves to me with little effort on my end. I feel I also demonstrated some good TRP principals before I got too drunk and lost frame - I held my frame with girl #1 and #2. I fought hard for frame on girl #3. I demonstrated confidence. I told them what was going …

Like I said, I was too drunk to seal the deal, so I didn't physically escalate with her. Figured I'd have another chance to show her my 'A' game. I don't understand how someone with self-professed trust issues can follow up with trying to fuck around on their fiance. And then to frame herself as the victim, 'my life is really complicated.' Fuck me that's crazy

I guess I need to get off my moral high horse. I think I may still be in the anger phase somewhat. I guess I don't know if I want to be the guy who pisses downstream of another guy. I buy into the TRP philosophy that I'm not so special that this is a one-time event. If no me, it will be someone else. So if I maintain contact because I do want to fuck her, what do I say/do on the subject of her being engaged?

Good point - I win nothing by telling her what I actually think of her. She was giving me all kinds of 'I have trust issues' BS when I was talking to her, then she tells me she is engaged!! That angers me, but I think it's an example of paying attention to a girls actions and not her words. Thank you for insight

Too drunk to fuck. I had no intentions of picking up women at a work event.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
