For me, it depends on the place. Like at a bar, sure it is okay to approach. But when I am just at the market, or at the mall, buying something, if you approach that’s kinda creepy. Or at night, at the bus stop, big no no. In transportation, again creepy. After lectures, in the lecture hall or something sure. In an event, yeah that’s fine too. These are just my opinions, but obviously it changes from person to person
