Honestly, I think what she's saying is that they're kind of bystanders. Men have historically been active fighters. Women are involved because they're killed, displaced, have their family members die, are raped, etc. but this is a losing battle. War sucks. I don't care if women or men are more impacted. Everyone loses. War sucks. If someone tells you that war doesn't fucking suck, they're wrong. War is worse than hell. In hell only the guilty die.. In war, the innocent die as well as the guilty.

The state and voters are to blame. They reward prosecutors based on CONVICTIONS , not justice. If the prosecutor lets this one go, his rate of conviction will fall - so he directly loses money. People follow their economic incentives.

If somebody attacked you and you were in their house Not always ... domestic abuse is really confusing due to psychological and financial issues. This is why domestic abuse is so concerning. EDIT. Also, not saying anything about this case.. just saying that your comment about leaving isn't always true.

AH! Thank you! Came here to post something similar. Also, I think women have different behavior when intoxicated than men. It's usual that they travel in groups and get rides home. Whereas men feel more comfortable to walk or drive. Not saying they're driving drunk but they could be driving home from a bar within the legal limit. What would be interesting is if they are stopped and breathalysed at a higher rate than what is required.

It's really a weird situation. What if they're both 16? What if one is 18 and one is 90? It's really a fuzzy situation that changes based on both the minimum age of one of he participants and the maximum age gap.

I low how the patriarchy is so strong that they oppress women but so weak that they can't even gather 3% of the vote.

yes.. if the roles were reversed here, two hot guys "seducing" and then raping a woman, there would be calls for global boycotts.

What's awesome about this is that if I find a Tumblr "feminist" boycotting Game of Thrones I can easily throw down a spoiler .. ha :-P Not that I would actually do that.. that's a horrible idea!

Seems like this is more evidence that this is the case. Was HE allowed to protest like this during school events? I REALLY hope they lose this lawsuit..

Serious question here. Women have some physical recovery involved here. Obviously men don't have a medical procedure involved here. What % of this time is for physical recovery? It seems 2-4 weeks is probably enough time for physical recovery. But then again I'm no where near an expert and I also imagine it depends on the woman's age. Further, even if women DO require more recovery, it seems men should get an equal amount of time so they can take care of their wife/gf/partner.

I think this is what my dad did ... I don't have a good relationship with him.. but I also think my mom went a bit psycho on him once he got divorced so it was either he have a HORRIBLE life or he had to keep me at arms length. It took me about 30 years to realize this..

Just talked to my GF about this .. .she used to be a big fan of freelee as she's a vegan and gave great advice on how to eat a vegan diet. She came out with a new video a couple days ago arguing that people who are aware of animal abuse, but still eat meat should not be allowed to live. Seriously.. She's saying that if you eat meat, then you should get the death penalty. She also has another video arguing that women should use lemons and sponges as forms of birth control and that she "has friend…

Also, she's doing this to sell her book. The more extreme she is, the more traffic she gets.

This is the same woman that thinks using sponges and lemons is an acceptable form of birth control: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C4tnGNxviw

"the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races." This is a horrible definition because there are LITERALLY characteristics that are specific to races and that we HAVE to acknowledge. For example, sickle-cell anemia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sickle-cell_disease In the USA, with no endemic malaria, the prevalence of sickle-cell anaemia among blacks is lower…

At least there's a partial rational argument that a woman who shares the same reproductive system would tend to vote for similar reproductive issues. Of course it doesn't stop gay Republicans for voting against gay rights. So perhaps you should look at the candidates voting record and competence.

Careful: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/nation/2002/05/09/toy-yoda.htm PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) — A former waitress has settled her lawsuit against Hooters, the restaurant that gave her a toy Yoda doll instead of the Toyota she thought she had won. Jodee Berry, 27, won a beer sales contest last May at the Panama City Beach Hooters. She believed she had won a new Toyota and happily was escorted to the restaurant's parking lot in a blindfold. The best revenge is to live well.

The burden of proof issue needs to remain. We can't just take her word because of bigotry against men.

There's NO fucking way I would stand for this... I'd tell them to throw me in prison or just give all the money to charity in a way that they'll NEVER get it back.

Should be single parent. Replace "mom" with "white person" and it clearly becomes bigoted.

During the week long trial the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons so it's ok to take pictures of this guy, throw his name around, but girl gets to make these allegations and can remain anonymous?

Both people should have separate lawyers draft and review the prenup this one, to me, always seemed like the most obvious. If you want it enforceable, you need to make sure the other person has appropriate representation. My goal in a divorce is to NOT fuck each other over. That's it.. This stuff can be represented before the marriage.

'Tend to be' ? Does she have any scientific evidence to back this up? Further. IF they're intimidated, isn't this THEIR fault? Why should we hinder men who aren't intimidated?

Nobody cares about men who get raped, so I refuse to care about women who get raped. That's not the best way to handle it. Show them compassion... then they can hopefully learn from your lesson.

And if a man accused a woman of rape does that also not require due process?
/r/MensRights27/02/15 09:44 PM

And additionally, if the WOMAN didn't know it was rape, how the HELL is the man supposed to know it was rape? It's about communication. If you're actively having sex with a man, don't tell him you're upset about it, then how hell is he supposed to know how to stop.

Wow. In Russia you can basically ignore the law, drive around with guns, flash them in traffic, ignore traffic laws, drive on the sidewalk. No wonder Putin thinks he can just invade countries and ignore international law. They ignore the law in their own country - why not international law too!

So basically anyone can just say "I didn't know it was loaded" and they can get their charges reduced? Why are we giving her the benefit of the doubt?

If you expect to be given equal shot at a CEO job but don't mention anything about menial jobs like being a coal miner then you have female privilege.

If "Teach blacks not to steal" is bigoted then "teach men not to rape" is also bigoted. It's really not that hard.
