If she is turning you down when you initiate that will definitely get worse if you're married. I'm sorry but if I'm getting married to someone she's gotta wanna be at it like rabbits or I'm out.

I don't necessarily agree with the conflation of manipulation and dishonesty. For example, an advertisement for soda effectively manipulates you into being thirsty for a soda. But that doesn't mean that it is dishonest. For comparison, take the "shit test" strategies: The gut reaction of an inexperienced boy/man would be to get sad or angry (and this would be the honest reaction), but redpill tells you to respond to these tests in a way that makes you appear less emotionally hurt than you actual…

The counter argument would be that in order to achieve true self-esteem, one must fake it until they make it. Self-esteem is not a switch you can just turn on.

LMAO. This is the only real answer. Cuts through the bullshit.

I've researched DJs pretty extensively in my area, and the only ones to my liking were concert halls, which I already go to, but it's not so great for socializing. Most of our clubs are owned by radio stations, so they just play the same stuff they play on the FM radio. It's sad really. EDIT: Beyond those 5 I went to, there's not really much else in the way of clubs.

All good points.

These were recommended as being the best clubs. There are only so many clubs to begin with. Not everyone is fortunate enough to live in Miami.

I've read the side bar multiple times. I don't see anything regarding this.

I'm not defending her behavior, but you just happened to have some incorrect assumptions, which is fine, but I thought I'd clarify.

If you really think that's the case, is there any way to get her to fess up to it? I just wanna know the truth, if that be the case. If she fesses up to it, then I'll know never to trust any woman ever again.

lol yes, but I see couples in my life, including my parents, who are 30 years in now and are happy. They may have stress, but certainly I would rather be like my parents than any of the other families I know getting out of their 2nd, 3rd or 5th divorce and psychologically fucking their kids. Those people who bounce relationships in their 30s to 40s are the most miserable people I've ever seen. How else do you explain the 30-40 year single people with 3 dogs or 5 cats and dress them up like kids …

I don't see how bartending at an old people restaurant is part of the downward spiral, but I get your point. And I dunno, I mean I've gone to ragers getting crazy drunk till 3 or 4am and just had fun with my friends, so I suppose it's not impossible, but more the problem was the not inviting part, because I invit her usually.

What is a consistory meeting? I'm not familiar with this. And based on what you saw, what percent of marriages had that issue? And no, I'm really considering going through with y'alls advice. I just have one close friend I need to run it by. Admittedly, it's a lot to digest. I was just here thinking that she's being naive, which she is normally, and that going to these places introduces risk of cheating, but the idea that she's already cheating is another thing. Regarding spousal infidelity,…

Thanks for your input Joe Rogan. You sound like a real intellectual.

Hm, I don't know why you assumed she was raised traditionally. She was raised by a feminist mother who told her basically never to get married. And her dad is basically a militant atheist, who has tried multiple times to convince her to abandon religion. Her parents may have been strict about school and stuff like that, but they weren't and still aren't exactly a religious family.

I think you're reading too much into that line. Just to be clear, I like loud music and partying just as much as the next guy. I like more ragers rather than clubs. I don't care for America's Top 40 playlist from 4 years ago. But right, otherwise, I see what you're saying.

She is a bartender at a place that closes at 9pm that's mostly attended by single women in their 30-50s. It's a regular restaurant with a bar. Most restaurants have bars where I live. It's not exactly a crazy place. I've been there. It's very boring. Edit: and yeah I get that late night alcohol can lead to sex, however, she can't drink much and often not at all, given her health issues.

TRP is your religion.

Deeply held religious views. Either get married or take a vow of chastity in some holy order. Those are the options.

Well given that the majority of marriages end in divorce, I think there's some merit to it. Obviously there are other metrics for this, and most research shows strong correlations between religious practice and marital satisfaction (which is not even necessarily tied to a particular religion, admittedly).

Hm you say that and I think in the secular world of dating that may be true, but many of my friends in the trad community have done extroardinary well as have their parents (extremely low divorcer rate). The only ones who failed were the ones who either a. didn't try or b. pursued meaningless sex.

I see. Although, not seeking LTR as a trad Catholic when you're young is unrealistic, because most of the high quality good trad girls are married off with a baby by 25. After 25, you're left with what no serious guy wanted.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
