What? They proved that no matter where the tooth brushes were left, they all had relatively the same amount of fecal matter on them. Lid up or down didn't matter at all.

Has no one seen the Mythbusters episode regarding exactly HOW MUCH shit water shoots out of the toilet when it is flushed??! It is a fine mist of shit and piss, all over your bathroom! Did you watch the episode? Because the result was that there is just as much shit on your toothbrush if it is in a different room, than if it was in a your bathroom when you flush with the lid up. There is no notable difference, fecal matter is everywhere.

I think you are overreacting a little bit about what happens when you flush lol. Mythbusters did an episode on this, not much of a difference if there is one at all.

Pretty sure mythbusters busted this.

Well, if her eardrum really did pop, I don't think the crying is to get any sympathy. That shit can be enormously painful.

I think you should practice your reading comprehension, it will help you in future posts.

Jesus Christ I can't believe people are complaining about kids being 'forced' to do chores. Bruh, have you been reading my posts at all? I literally am not complaining about anything. I am telling you the logic behind leading by example and how it can be more effective in the long run versus just giving commands that you expect them to follow. I have actually said in like 3 post by now that either way will not be the end of the world or anything, just that one has better results when they move o…

What makes someone more likely to do the dishes when leaving the house; someone who always had to do them growing up or someone where the parents did it all the time for them? In my experience, someone whose parents taught them everyone was responsible for cleaning up after themselves and were lead by example, not ones that were forced to do it cause their parents told them they had to. Once they move out, there are no more chores that are forced on them and it is pretty damn common for them not…

No, you just keep bringing it back to that. I was commenting on how leaving all your dishes in the sink is stupid and will lead to your children doing the same thing when they move out.

Well yea it works out fine while they are under their parents rule, but usually parents want the best for their kids in the long run, so there is that. Just like anything else, kids will mimic their parents either intentionally or subconsciously. Anyways, you are really hung up on the chore aspect of things, so I don't think you are seeing the point I or Byroms am trying to make, so it probably isn't worth going any further with these comments.

Is it so crazy that most of the time kids end up acting like their parents? If they see that their dad never do his dishes and lets them pile up, there is a higher chance that they will do the same as they grow up.

No, the flaw in your logic is that you think "doing" includes knowing the exact external forces that may happen. "Doing" is an activity you engage in. She knew exactly the activity she was engaging in, regardless of what exact consequence happened after. And even if we follow your logic, it makes no sense, it is all semantics. Are you saying she didn't know she could go to jail for committing a crime? No, you are arguing that she didn't know the exact amount of days she would receive.. If you dr…

Those job questions are the exact questions I hate being asked by family members.. I would stay away from them, unless you have a good lead up and ask them differently.

It's an insulated bottle that's gotten is pretty popular over here. It can be kind of heavy, but it keeps your water cool and your ice frozen for the whole day.

Eh, I'll hold my gf's purse while she tries stuff on at a store or what ever. It's not that big a deal. I really don't mind helping her out, just like she doesn't mind carrying my hydroflask when I need my hands free. If it is someone 'testing' you that is different, but it's not like holding a purse is the plague.

Maybe he just wasn't digging her and didn't want to be rude. It's not like everyone is going to straight up say they found a girl annoying or unattractive to random stranger.

Maybe he just doesn't like flirting with random chicks, who for all we know wasn't attractive to him. I know probably everyone here doesn't feel this way, but he might have just

I found some similar success with handshakes as well. Things like holding on a longer than a normal while maintaining eye contact and talking, using your left hand to cover the back of their hand, or even turning your palm mid shake (so that their hand is facing down) and putting your left hand on top can have some pretty great results. I don't often shake women's hands, but I actually got to try this out when I met my girlfriends mom. She was super receptive to me and honestly, I didn't think t…

It might not have an impact on your confidence, but it can still make you feel good.. Unless you are some kind of seduction robot, built for the sole purpose of being confident and self assured.

Why are answering it so condescendingly? It's not like it is a simple question.. and your answer is pretty ridiculous and one dimensional. Sure your date should be able to turn down guys, but some guys don't take "no" or "I have a boyfriend" as an acceptable answer. Hell, judging by your post, I bet you are one of those guys. If it gets to that point it's time to take the reins and set things strait with the guy. No need for conflict or escalation, make your girl feel safe and if the douche keep…

Also, incorporating "we" and us (let's) into conversations is good practice.

Not saying OP said that, I'm referring to the response above, which pretty much says, "if sex is available, take sex, don't be a pussy." I don't believe that is particularly good advice. If you want sex, then by all means try to make that happen, but if not, you are allowed to set your own boundaries.

I don't agree with number two at all. If he has his own boundaries about how far he wants to take it that is perfectly fine imo, but he needs to make his intentions and boundaries clear, while still showing and maintaining attraction. If he has to say "Hey, your extremely cute, but I'm not interesting in sex on the first date." I think that is totally acceptable and he can lead it to watching a movie and making out instead.

Don't worry too much about getting the girls. Worry about having fun and becoming more comfortable. Learn to pick up on their signals, but also make your intentions apparent and escalate it to where you want it to go.

Girls who are into nerd stuff almost universally have boyfriends already Umm what? If you take the time to think about this, i think you will find that it makes no sense at all and is completely made up. Next your gonna tell me that all pretty girls are already taken and that we should just look for unattractive ones.

I agree, if a person respects you, then they will respect your passions as well. I usually put it out there that some of the things I do are in fact nerdy and have a laugh about it. But then again I also tease women about how they are such nerds when they start talking about make up and girly things (jokingly of course.) I think relating my nerdy hobbies to the lady things they do helps in that regard.

I think the main point to take away is not to censor or limit your talking. When you start holding yourself back and start thinking "should I say this" thats when conversations usually tend to die out. I have found that saying what ever comes to mind is a great way to start flowing during conversations. Once you get in the rhythm of talking in a new conversation, it is much easier to find the things you both will be engaged about and you will both feel much more comfortable right off the bat.

Personally, I've never seen someone become more receptive by me not remembering their name. I don't see how remembering a woman's name is similar to "gushing all over her like she's the most special flower in the world." If she isn't into you yet, she probably won't think anything of you remembering her name, which something that is completely normal in interactions.. But if she is into you, she may open up more.

I don't really like it. Sure I can see it working on some girls (kinds you meet at bars), but a lot of girls I know would be put off by this. It feels a little too douchy for me.

I'll give and take some of this. I don't agree with cutting off someone if they don't kiss you on the first date (my opinion.) Some girls really are just shy. If they seem uncomfortable after a failed kiss, sometimes texting them after the date, saying that you had a fun time and thought they were too up until the kiss (in a positive tone), can help open them up and break past that. But then again i guess a lot of people here don't want to invest too much in one specific lady. .. But if you are …
