| 8 | Extremely harsh sentence for false accuser! Just kidding! The accused served four years, she gets weekends in jail.I was initially upset at the sentence, but after thinking it through, I agree. The bigger issue was the initial conviction. Although it's not ideal, I could see the rationale behind the sentencing. You don't want to dissuade somebody from finally doing the right thing because the consequences are too high. It's possible a weekend sentence for more time would have been better.
