Children are humans and you won’t be able to control their innate personality, regardless of how much you are around to “try to stop it.” Just ask my parents. It is a problem when parents think their children are little mini-mes that they can shape into whatever they want. That said, some careers are more time-consuming than others and lead to children having distant relationships with their parent, but we more commonly hear this about fathers—military, doctors, corporate big wigs. A regular 9-5…

It sounds like you are projecting some dissatisfaction you have with your own childhood.

This is an inability to empathize with other humans, so unfortunately, you are probably spot on with your autism or personality disorder suspicions. Regardless of how you look, lack of empathy is very off-putting to other people.

How can you be red pill, or ex-red pill for that matter, when you haven’t finished puberty and you’re just reaching dating age….?

Fucking yikes, bro.

Um, men swipe on every profile without reading it or actually being attracted to the women, so matches are literally meaningless.

Well, women generally sweat less than men, so it takes longer after a shower for us to smell strongly. Testosterone makes you sweat more. But maybe what you noticed is that the dominant chemical in sweat is different for men and women because of differing microbiomes. The dominant chemical in male sweat is associated with a cheesy aroma, while the dominant chemical in female sweat is associated with a grapefruit or onion-type aroma. Outside of this, many people find they are attracted or repulse…

How so? If 90% of single parent households are single mother households, the majority never married with absent fathers, and the 10% single father households are majority educated divorced men (over 40% of whom are cohabitating with a partner)… um, those are not the same thing, are they?

Are you just making up statistics based on your personal feelings? Hers are from the CDC. The CDC also happens to provide the statistic that 72% of men have fathered a child by age 40. So, what are you talking about?

People would said it’s fake because they’re doing acting voice. I honestly cannot understand how some people have lost the ability to tell when people are acting. And I also do not understand why making these ragebait videos is so popular.

On the one hand, yes, I am happy because I like to be left alone. On the other hand, I’m a little concerned that it will cause psychological problems that will have other effects on society.

Bright white wedding dresses weren’t even popularized until the 30s, like diamond rings. It doesn’t mean anything.
/r/AllPillDebate23/10/23 02:14 AM

Well, my German ancestors wore black wedding dresses in the 1800s to remind them of the grief and hardships of marriage. They looked bad ass. So, try again if this is supposed to be insulting.

Women are less violent, less likely to own a gun, and less impulsive (some might point out the difference in testosterone levels). So, I’m not sure why the differing methods would be surprising. Women are clinically depressed at nearly double the rate of men, but of course, they are much more likely to seek help. Men also commit suicide with pills and account for well over half of the overdose deaths. Many people do change their minds during an overdose attempt, which can make it hard to compare…

As a stand-up comic, I can assure you that women will fuck funny men of an incredible variety, many that most would find repulsive otherwise. And we call them “chuckle fuckers.”

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting a virgin/inexperienced partner if you yourself are inexperienced. I think maybe they are trying to be helpful by telling you to widen your net because you aren’t likely to find an older women of the sort unless maybe you belong to a religious group. Women have problems with experienced men wanting virgins because of the hypocrisy.

Like someone else mentioned, it’s partly that it’s a public platform and other people can see who you follow, so it kind of gives second-hand embarrassment for people that know or are dating you.

How is that poignant…? It is a measure of likelihood of having posted on two subreddits. A sub being banned should actually make it less likely that a user would have a post on both that sub and this active one.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 06:15 PM

It’s not looking at membership, it’s looking at posts. So, people who have posted on those subs in the past, regardless of whether they are active now. FDS sub is limited now as well since they moved their main discussions to their official website. The sub is basically just there to promote the website and podcast now.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:59 PM

I don’t know why you wouldn’t post the stats for this actual sub? FDS is third. The highest correlation (more than twice as likely as FDS) is between this sub and r/asktrp. https://subredditstats.com/subreddit-user-overlaps/purplepilldebate

I was interpreting that as married. But also, generally, when people are just out of serious relationships—the most likely time to be participating in casual sex—they are not looking to get into another serious relationship immediately. (Some people are, but that’s a separate problem.)

I would rather die than be someone’s first girlfriend (also in my 30s).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 09:49 AM

I think it’s fine to prefer someone with the same experience level as yourself, whatever that may be. If you have slept with dozens of women, but you want to marry a virgin… you are gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 09:47 AM
0

Depends on the age. A 21 year old virgin is fine (for a similarly aged person), but a 35 year old virgin begs a lot of questions and concerns. Also, it’s definitely not “a couple times.”
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 09:45 AM
1

Well, there’s going to be bias based on the type of people you vs I know. I don’t have any female friends that were trying to get “cuffed” while still in college / their early-mid 20s. I would say it’s just neutral. Some men are good experiences, some men are not. That doesn’t really change, regardless of whether you are looking for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 09:54 PM
4

Ha. That is not my experience at all. I nor any of my female friends primarily had sex with fuckbois or ever express guilt about sleeping with men. I honestly don’t know if it’s that people like you that write these posts are very young and don’t know many adult women or if this is just fiction. Edit: Also, I don’t know any woman that says “ho phase” unless referring to a man that said it.

I think most women know that men indiscriminately swipe on every single profile, which ruins the intended functionality of the apps, hence why we are upset having to sort through people with no results.

You did not provide evidence that women want men 8 inches taller than them, you just said the word “statistically.”
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 09:55 PM

a form of sexual desire in which gratification is strongly linked to a particular object or activity or a part of the body other than the sexual organs. You are 5’3 and require someone a minimum of 11 inches taller than you because you want to “feel the effects of a sizable difference” in height…? Um, that is a fetish. You are fetishizing someone for their size, same as people with fat fetishes. Height has nothing to do with the sexual organs or any normal heterosexual compatibility.

“Statistically.” Uh, no. I do not want a man that’s 6’4, nor would it make sense to specify them in a dating profile when there are so few. Women come in heights other than 5’3. 8 inches isn’t reasonable for half of us.

As a woman that dates politically left-leaning men, at least 70% of men I click with these days want to be child-free for life, as do three of my best female friends. It’s definitely a trend, I think. And makes it even more difficult for the few of us that still want children.

Um, I don’t think this is everyone’s experience of male sexuality. Your inability to even be around a woman non-sexually is quite frankly frightening.

Women phrase this very strangely and robotically. Bro, what? First of all, why is the way men talk about it the default that is somehow being deviated from? I have begun to think that a lot of women have very deep psychological issues about sex and it’s a triggering word. Women have deep psychological issues about men. Because men treat women as the other and sex as a currency.

Yes. I have a therapist. I usually go in 6 months stints as needed. I enjoy it. The idea that you have to be “mentally ill” to go to therapy like people here keep saying is not accurate. Therapy is for developing coping skills, whatever it is you’re coping with. Clearly all the anti-therapy responses here are the most unhinged. lol.

And I feel like this experience is kind of burned me out on relationships and sex because if a man can virtually make a woman orgasm without penetrating her then what's the point? Uhhh… women are not out here cumming from dick penetration, bro. Literally not how it even works. Sorry you realized your dick isn’t magic?? But you clearly were not even familiar with the female orgasm to begin with.

A man might think he is “winning over” a woman when she changes her mind about him, but I highly doubt that it ever has to do with any “work” he has put in. Women can see an attractive man and not be interested because he looks like a douche, but change their mind when they find out he is not a douche. Women can meet a less attractive man and not be interested until she starts getting to know him. This is kind of just the nature of getting to know someone, since it can go the opposite way as wel…

Yeah, I’ve literally never heard of this being an issue aside from between people in their teens and maybe early 20s. But those people are generally not looking for marriage unless you are from a religious community. why does this happen? Um, because of love, I would hope???
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 04:51 AM

Also, I’m assuming previously promiscuous not presently promiscuous in their marriage….? Maybe. The idea that someone just is promiscuous forever is also dumb.

Yeah, there’s no way I’m looking at 10,000 people. I feel like everyone is ignoring the fact that it’s physically too many to sort through. The worst thing about Tinder is that it’s just too many people. 90% of them are gross and I don’t want to sit on my phone swiping all day, so realistically I never get to most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 05:19 PM

Well, for one, going to the gym does not make you high value. (This post makes it clear that you are a probably a nightmare.) For two, telling people to be embarrassed is weird as hell. Literally no one needs to be embarrassed about not being attractive to other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/22 07:31 AM

Not only are many single women content, many non-single women are still lonely in the company of a man because the man does not actually fulfill her desire for companionship. Women’s loneliness is not related to sex, so when that is all that is offered, it’s worthless.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 07:07 AM

I mean, I wasn’t counting an imaginary story where everyone ignores a sex worker at dinner because she’s so boring and commonplace.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 05:52 PM
3

Uh, I mean, I’m not sure how you think it’s more taboo than women doing the sex work. Most people that think sex work should be legal / regulated / accepted also think the same about men using those services. There is a big difference between believing it should be legal and wanting to personally date a sex worker or a man that pays for sex though. So yeah, women might respect your right to hire sex workers, but not want to be with you because of it. That’s fair.

Physical ends up being such a small factor. Most people in my age bracket that are in a public place (event, bar, restaurant, etc.) are not ugly to me. I’m just not attracted to people I’m walking around near and not actively engaging with. Once I talk to someone, other things come into play… social skills, culture, political leanings, general intelligence, humor… that can be picked up on pretty fast and be immediate turn offs. I love it too.

Are you in your 30s? Because I feel like most people that talk like this on this sub are teenagers or early 20s. And then, men that are on this sub in their 30s and married talking like this……. I feel bad for their wives.

This is a very spot-on post. Women want Tate and Blizarian for their fame or money, not because they are physically desirable. Whereas, women would be paying money to blow Harry Styles even if he was a shoe salesman because he is beautiful.

Please, explain why women love K-Pop stars then. Tate and Blizarian are not attractive.

……. I do not have friends like this. Sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/22 09:50 AM

Obviously not the norm. I would have never dated a man in his 30s as a teen or in my early 20s. I briefly hooked up with a 28 year old when I was 21, and when I would tell my friends about him, I would start by saying “Well, he’s kind of old, but…” lol. I’m in my 30s now and still don’t date men more than 5ish years older.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/22 08:49 AM

I have certainly rejected men that people here would think are 9s or 10s on their dumb scale, but it was because I was just legitimately not attracted to them. Women have a much broader range of things they find attractive. While I am able to recognize that someone that looks like a Hemsworth brother is attractive, that’s just not what I like.

lol, I specifically said that does not murder people. I was specifically referring to the superficial charm, narcissism, sexual promiscuity, inability to experience romantic love, and lack of empathy. True. Obesity rate in LA by all appearances is much lower. Maybe in California in general. I’m in Northern California in a restaurant with 35 people right now and only 4 are noticeably overweight, which is not really enough for me to even comment on.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 05:22 AM

I mean, like others have mentioned, a man doesn’t have to be a conventionally attractive hot dude to sexually attract a woman with more than ‘meh’ enthusiasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 07:59 PM
1

Well, a dude I’m in love with beats out a random hot dude that’s good at banging that I don’t give a fuck about.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 06:13 PM
2

Being hot does not equal being good at sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 06:07 PM

I don’t know if it is the halo effect. My most beautiful friends are also lovely people. I’m sure I have met shitty attractive people, but none that have ever been close to me, so it’s hard to say. I think people get nicer and more pleasant when everyone around them treats them well because of their attractiveness. Edit: 95% of my friends are lovely people. I’m not necessarily saying the super hot ones are more so.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 08:32 PM
6

I hate agreeing with this, but the most unpleasant women with the worst attitudes I’ve ever met were also all obese unattractive women with just generally shitty lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 08:26 PM

Thats because validation from men is so plentiful that its basically worthless. Yes, this is true. It’s plentiful, but it’s also at least 50% lies, so that adds to its worthlessness. I do compliment men all the time, as well as other women. I think it’s mostly just about being a genuine human.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 04:20 AM
1

No, because I literally just wrote about a woman’s experience, not a man’s. I didn’t explain why men are the way they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 01:55 AM
3

Well then, seems like it’s a good idea for men to start finding other sources of validation instead of depending on and blaming women that don’t share their values.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/22 08:25 PM
14

Nothing and I mean nothing can substitute validation from the opposite gender. As a woman, I legitimately do not get this. In my experience, women put a lot of value in validation from other women and coworkers. Validation from men is just not on the top of my list as far as meaningful validation. I guess because compliments from men generally have ulterior motives and therefore it’s difficult to determine if they are truthful.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/22 08:11 PM

I don’t think your grammar edit worked. And I am still at loss as to why you think “a strong male figure”, NOT in someone’s household because they are adults, has to do with anything .
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/22 03:35 AM
8

I don’t know what country you live in (??) or culture you are… but as an adult American woman, my father (in his 60s) is retired, lives in a different city, and has no say over anything I do in my life. I visit him on holidays and call him on the phone once a month. There is no way he would have had much if any say in my romantic life or whether I wanted to cooperate with police or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/22 10:38 PM

Weird assumption honestly. Why would they take their fathers with them? lol. These women probably have fathers in their 60s or older.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 08:42 PM

Size 0 is impossible for me at 5’8. Size 0 is generally even smaller than normal skinny for most women, more attainable if you’re 5’2 or under though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 08:40 PM
2

lol, as much as I think the other points are stupid, size 0 is just not true as a desired trait.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 08:36 PM
2

I’m not sure why this is hard to understand. If you’re saying someone is boyfriend/husband material, it means you have possible emotional feelings for them, in addition to sexual feelings. Otherwise, maybe a dude is lame but still hot, so you have only sexual feelings. You want to bang both of them, but if emotions are involved, you want the first time to be special/meaningful/planned. Girls shave regardless and not just for sex. It makes you feel more confident and sexy. Or like, maybe you will…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 05:40 PM

I have matched with a couple people on OLD because I had already seen them around town and knew what they were like, not sure I would have otherwise. Also, I saw an old coworker on OLD with HORRIBLE photos and profile, but he was actually fairly attractive and a nice guy in person. A lot of attractiveness doesn’t really translate into photos and text for some men, and I’m sure women too.

OLD does not control for other variables either. Trying to judge someone based on a written description and a few pictures is a completely different process than seeing someone in real life and knowing if you are/aren’t attracted to them. Are we accounting for all the OLD date fails where one of the people didn’t meet expectations because the profile wasn’t actually an accurate representation of themselves? Because how do those count towards “dating success”?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 06:50 PM
5

I mean, ok, if this is based on dating profiles / people seeing the heights written. I just mean that in real life, the difference is not as noticeable as you’re saying. When someone is already taller than you, it’s hard to discern the difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 06:34 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/22 08:10 PM

Oh, my source in this case is just Reddit posts. In my real life, there is no prevalence of anyone complaining they can’t find a partner amongst those around me, unless you count my mom… but she’s a 60 year old divorcée, so I don’t think anyone here is concerned about that.

He would come around and play with her kid or take him out for food or whatever, but he had no romantic interest in her. She tried to initiate, but he politely declined. He’s Arab-American and raised Muslim. One day, she tells him out of the blue that she has converted to Islam so that he can be with her. Everyone was puzzled to say the least.

If a woman can wait months, she has a really low sex drive, so you would have to realize that regardless if it’s a good reason or not, you may not be sexually compatible anyway. And for sure, there are women and men out there with low sex drives, so no hate. Edit: I will also say that I have been in the reverse situation fairly recently, where on date three with a man, the physical part was progressing so slowly that it seemed like it would take ages to get to the sex part. It turned out he was …

Well, I said it would have swayed some people. I for one would not want to have children with a stupid man, so low IQ is a dealbreaker for dating. I saw a few people mentioning mental illness, but no one mentioning the autism, probably out of political correctness. Also depends how everyone is interpreting “facially unattractive.” I’ve been attracted to people that aren’t conventionally attractive, so it would depend if the “unattractive” is my opinion or the general public’s opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 02:10 AM

lol, what? That’s the part you had a problem with?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 01:07 AM

Well, call me an asshole, but… I don’t think an autistic person of low intelligence can just learn to be charismatic/charming. So, 1st is a figment of imagination. 2nd has a pretty face, big dick, and is naturally good at math? Yes. Great. Our children will be amazing. I mean, if you had made the first guy the smarter one, you would have swayed some people.

I think we just went to different types of schools. No one stands out as a “star” amongst 35,000 students. And my school was like 75% science nerds.

Yeah, I think this is definitely a parenting issue, and the reason it’s more common in men is because of the difference in the way parents treat children of opposite genders.

I knew a group of Brazilian women musicians (acquaintances) that told me one of the main reasons they decided to live in the US permanently was because of the culture of misogyny / sexual violence in Brazil. Just one anecdote, but some evidence that many women do not enjoy the “socially open” aspect of Brazil.

I got 9.2%. I think that’s fine…? My preferences were: 29-39, not married, not obese, 5’4 or taller, any race, 50k or more income Not sure why this makes me an “aspiring cat lady” though.

I didn’t make a post. I was just responding to their bullshit talking trash about other women. Incessantly. I knew where I was? If they don’t want people to even respectfully disagree with them or defend themselves, why are they operating a public forum? It’s just an echo chamber of the narrowest viewpoint that doesn’t leave room for anyone that isn’t an angry, stick-up-their-ass fascist harpy.

Lots of women don’t want “Chad”, the same way that not all men want a Victoria’s Secret model or something. Yes, everyone understands why it’s the “ideal” body, but the reality is a lot of people just don’t care about it in the way people here make it seem.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 06:37 AM

Yeah, I kind of think they set it up that way with tall women to make it a better story.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 04:37 AM

Well, I have dated several 5’6 men and they all managed to have multiple ex-girlfriends from before me, so I think the handsome ones are doing fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 01:03 AM
2

Online dating in 2006 doesn’t look anything like today. That was before apps. But also, this data is whack. The majority of us are not dating people of any height that make over $150,000 a year.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 12:36 AM
3

Right. I’m 5’8 and I date men as short as 5’4, but I don’t think I could go shorter than that just because of the weirdness of our bodies fitting together. There are plenty of shorter women that should, in theory, not have a problem with men that short though.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 12:15 AM
7

Yeah, it definitely seemed like all the women were tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/21 11:54 PM
-2

I don’t think women today are quite as brutal as this, but the choices would probably still be similar. I don’t think a reasonably attractive 5’6 man with a career (whatever it is) would have trouble finding a woman today. The 5’ and 5’3 men would still have problems because they are outside the range of “normal” height. The 5’3 guy in the video was just not very attractive compared to the others anyway, so he was already at a disadvantage. The 5’6 guy was handsome.

And as I wrote in another comment: “as an adult woman, I am not interested in anyone that is not experienced in intimate communication, problem-solving/compromise, work/relationship balance, etc.” Things that come from relationship experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 06:13 AM
1

All of those examples are included. What is the problem with those things? Some women also don’t want marriage. Lots of people are polyamorous. That’s fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 06:10 AM
2

I... what? Ok. Thanks for telling me about yourself, I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 04:37 AM
3

I mean, my statement is a little age-dependent. I wouldn’t expect a teenager or someone in their early 20s to necessarily have a lot of relationship experience. But those people are outside of my age bracket. 🙃
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 08:51 PM
3

I mean, if your past relationships are so much “baggage” that you are bitter and can’t be a good partner anymore, that’s a personal problem. But as an adult woman, I am not interested in anyone that is not experienced in intimate communication, problem-solving/compromise, work/relationship balance, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 08:47 PM
4

I agree that there’s “high n-count” and then there’s HIGH. More than 50 is ridiculous. Not that I ever ask anyone how many people they’ve been with, but I feel like you can just tell who the 50+ club is. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 04:23 AM
32

Men without relationship experience are the worst. I don’t even care about the n-count. You’ve never kept a partner for over a year? Get away from me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 04:18 AM
5

It’s the responsibility of both parties to care about the other’s pleasure. I think, the only time it is seen as “shameful” is when men are demanding/expecting a level of sexual enthusiasm from a woman that is not sexually attracted to them or not in the mood or otherwise not interested in sex at that time. And if she is always not interested, then that is a problem with the relationship, not purely about sex.
/r/ExRedPill04/03/21 11:25 PM
19

Um... yes, that would be a part of their “job” in a relationship. I’m not sure that is really a particular view. Who would want to be with someone that doesn’t care about pleasing them?
/r/ExRedPill04/03/21 04:16 PM

Unfortunately, you don’t have to be a very beautiful woman to be approached and objectified all the time.

I find the number of women on this post saying they like muscular guys only kind of suspicious. As a woman that lives in the world and has other women friends, I can definitely say that most women like “dad bods.” A little thick (rectangle shape) with a hairy chest and little belly. No version of the sexy dad bod includes balding or obesity. I think the dad bod is a more natural masculine body type to be attracted to when compared to a hairless over-muscled over-groomed man.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/20 05:45 AM

I don’t think baldness is included in anyone’s idea of a sexy dad bod.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/20 05:33 AM

It’s a good point that you can still find these things in certain groups in the US, like the very poor or the very religious. I don’t know what countries you are thinking of when you say “the demand for men is higher and the women put in more effort,” but it’s unlikely to be a western country.

I’m always confused by people bringing up serial killers on TRP/incel subs. Not that part, dude. The 50% more men are killed by intimate partners. Your total number of intimate partner homicides (men and women combined) is too low, for one. For two, roughly twice as many women are killed by intimate partners. For three, the stats also include male homosexual intimate partner homicides. And for four, if you consider non-fatal intimate partner violence, the number of female victims is 5 times higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/20 05:35 AM

I’m a woman in my early 30s. I date men in the 25-40 range. It’s very obvious to me that peak physical attractiveness in men is 27-29. Not that I don’t enjoy them beyond that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 07:21 AM

All throughout my 20s, I can only think of a single female friend who dated a man more than 6 years older than her. In my 30s, I still only know a handful of women dating much (7+ years) older men. I would have been super weirded out if any of my friends were dating a 30 year old man when I was 18. 30 year olds were ancient to us.

My favorite is how so many of the things women might call men—fuckboi, dog, pig, dick, manchild—are based on how men mistreat women, but all these slurs men call women are based on men being disapproving or jealous of how women conduct their own lives.

You have no idea who you are swiping on. Half of people don’t look like their picture or have a weird vibe in person or are otherwise stupid/rude/strange/who knows. That does not represent “what you actually want”.

Ok, I don’t know what to tell you about your one crazy friend example. She sounds like she has problems. However.... Women have their guard up when being approached by men in the wild because they have been approached many times before, and it makes us annoyed and defensive. Yes, it may be that not everyone that approaches or talks to us is trying to fuck us, but a lot are and better to be safe than sorry.

A person that is intellectually, emotionally, and physically compatible with you to the point that you could sustain a happy, healthy relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/20 02:47 PM

Eh, I don’t really believe that. My tastes don’t even overlap with my friends’, generally. Sure, the most conventionally beautiful men and women are desired by more people. But I personally don’t know anyone that is ending up “empty-handed” because of chasing the unattainable / too much competition.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/20 02:44 PM

Depends on what you mean. The percentage of men I find physically attractive is considerably larger than the percentage of men I would like to date or have sex with. I don’t want to date/sleep with someone just because they are technically physically attractive. But yeah, the percentage of men I would actually date is small. I feel like it should be for everyone if you’re really looking for true compatibility.

I don’t even date men in their 40s at 32. I decided they weren’t my cup of tea after a couple of attempts. And it wasn’t that they were not attractive, it was more that…

It’s not shallow to want to date a fully realized adult man instead of a man-child. It’s not about what job he has. It’s that he has fulfilled some of his own personal goals, is emotionally intelligent, and knows how to balance a relationship with a career and other hobbies/recreation/whatever.

I seemed to have more options when I (female) was 22, but really they were not quality options—just a bunch of dumb 20-somethings that also didn’t know what they were doing in life yet. You can have casual sex and still be discerning about who your partners are. There is a vast difference in the sex drive from woman to woman. I promise that those of us with high sex drives that do experience vaginal orgasms are doing it for our own pleasure, not to be empowered. No one has ever tried to pee on me. 😂

Ok, but don’t you have to be wealthy already to be in most of these locations? Also, these are not real places to meet people like others have pointed out. And Great Gatsby parties are cringe, unless you are 50+ years old.

What even is their relationship if they don’t go on dates and don’t have sex?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/02/20 12:17 PM

Ew. That is definitely not true. I know plenty of men (platonic friends) that would never stoop to that level.

lol. Now that I am over 30, I am constantly approached by younger men (20s) telling me they “like older women.” So much for that wall.

Access to technology and actively snooping are two different things. For instance, a man who seems nervous when you get near his phone at all is obviously a red flag. If you can’t touch his phone to like, change the station on Pandora or check the time, you know something’s up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/02/20 04:54 AM

To be fair, you weren’t actually intentionally snooping in that case... so, it kind of revealed itself. Haha.

Personal privacy is important, and you should never ask to look at his phone to snoop on him. Invasions of privacy are unforgivable to many people, me included. If you don’t trust him, you shouldn’t be in a relationship, regardless of whether he is actually hiding something. If he is cheating, there will be other signs. And if you need to look at his phone for proof, it is just for peace of mind as you are already walking out the door. There is no worthwhile relationship where you are always sus…

So many men lying about their age on dating apps. Most are clearly delusional. Like, do you really think you look 35 with that gray hair and leather skin, Gary? No.

Ha. No. I was wild when I was 20 and had no desire to be in a relationship, although a few boys talked me into one. I was not a good girlfriend and did not have a very long attention span for anyone.

Eh, well, fuck that then. I don’t know if being needy or being pushy is worse. It’s equally annoying. The pushy part makes me feel actually threatened though.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/20 04:53 AM

I doubt anyone would consider the men I date (and actually enjoy) that are not needy and insecure to be alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/20 04:41 AM

Yes. This. I appreciate an assertive man, as in one that will take initiative. I’m an assertive woman myself. Aggression is not acceptable ever. In this case, I mean aggression as in rudely trying to force or coerce me to do something I do not want to do, like pushing me to do things his way after I already said it didn’t work for me and acting annoyed or angry when I don’t cave to him.

I think of nearly every man I have rejected over the last year, every single one displayed pushy/aggressive/temper tantrum type behavior. Honestly really surprised how common this is. Some also displayed jealous behavior very early. And at least 75% would not stop texting me incessantly.

After looking at this Morgin Riley person’s Instagram, I can see why you are talking about is alt-models and instahoes, which is a completely different thing to me and not really a music subculture. I am more concerned that she is a white woman with dreadlocks that is appropriating Native American culture in like 75% of her photos. (Which makes her definitely not woke.) That is just gross. Maybe more akin to the Burning Man crowd.

I can’t say I’ve noticed a whole lot of modern day young people in the music scene living polygamous homeless lifestyles. Most of what you are describing seems a little off to me. Hipster festival-goers are not really the hippies of the ‘60s. Polyamory has become very popular amongst 25-35 year olds in general. I think nudity is definitely becoming less sexualized. I think, the trend towards meditation and crystals and other spiritual beliefs is because of a trend away from organized religion, a…

I usually just listen to tone of voice, whether they laugh at my jokes or make their own jokes. The awkwardness is usually pretty obvious, in that they can’t socialize in a normal way. Also, dudes that ask a lot of questions like they are interviewing you for a job. And oversharing. If a dude says something too revealing or says “can I tell you something?” or anything weird like that, I run away. Like, I don’t know you and we haven’t met, why are you saying this me!?

I love talking on the phone before a date. I have avoided so many borderline autistic weirdos this way. I’m pretty blunt, so I usually just say, “Hey, do you want to talk on the phone before our date?” (Assuming the date is a few days or a week out.) or if we haven’t scheduled a date, “Hey, how do you feel about talking on the phone?”. If the guy says no or that he doesn’t like talking on the phone, I usually just stop talking to him. Most men are eager to talk on the phone because they want to …

I am 5’8, and I love short men. Most men I date are in the 5’5 to 5’9 range. I’m actually of the opinion that it is easier to find a short HVM than a taller one. Plus, shorter is just my preference. Over 5’11 is a negative for me. I think I just like to be on the same eye level as my partner.

I would be happy with a stay at home husband, but it’s hard to find men that don’t end up feeling emasculated by not being the breadwinner. In my experience, men that say they are ok with it end up feeling resentful eventually, which is why I make more of an effort to date people of similar income/education level to me now. But my dad was a stay at home dad, and he really enjoyed it. He loved watching the kids, working on the house/yard, and volunteering at my school. He still talks about how it…

American women also just have different body types than European women (depending what country you’re talking about). For example, a lot of Eastern European women have very small frames and narrow hips. When I was in Russia (with 8 or 10 other American girls), several people commented on how wide American girls’ hips are. The hourglass figure that is the standard of beauty here is not the same in other countries. 110 pounds at 5’5 is considered underweight regardless.

I feel like passive men and needy men are two separate types. My ex was very passive. It was actually one of the things that I found attractive in the beginning. I just thought he was very chill and go-with-the-flow. It didn’t become a real problem for many years. It made conflict resolution annoying and/or impossible, eventually resulting in communication breakdown. Needy men are insecure and terrible from the start. Constant texting, wanting to be in constant physical contact, professing their…
