1	I can't get anything past a number - help? It does differ between girls, just like anything else, but if they're more into texting they've usually responded with a text. I've called, got no answer, and then got a text later on saying anything from "hey" and "sorry I missed your call" to "who's this". From there, I play along and start texting back. 3	I can't get anything past a number - help? Why text? Unless the girl texts me first, I call her, always 24-48 hours later. Start off with a quick joke referencing something about the night numbers were exchanged then ask her out. If they can't/won't give me a solid answer, I tell them it's cool and to let me know if they find a gap in thier schedule. Then I eject with a simple "I gotta get going but hopefully I hear from you." This tells them you're interested, you made an effort, and now the ball is in thier court.
