Great quote - reminded me of something from Nietzsche (not sure why Thus Spoke Zarathustra isn't on here more, it is the most red pill book I've ever read). “Brave, unconcerned, mocking, violent-thus wisdom wants us: she is a woman and always loves only a warrior". From the chapter 'On Reading and Writing'; absolutely incredible passage if you have a couple minutes and can tolerate philosophical stuff - and then a couple years to fully digest...

If any family or friends work in the field ask if they can help you get an entry level job to learn. It's not impossible to get into finance, it just takes a couple years of grunt work. Of course, you're probably the best payed "grunt" in the world once you get there but you get what I mean
