I see your point! Yeah that does make it a little bit easier, cheers buddy

Yeah you're right! In general life is better each day, though in terms of game on its own (which in the grand scheme of things isn't that important) I haven't progressed nearly as much as I'd like to. After two years of reading this stuff I've only ever gotten a handful of numbers as I'm paralysed by AA and uncertainty. But what you say about the tea is true. It doesn't affect me as a person if one person isn't particularly attracted to me, that just means they have to keep looking!

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus here. I need to focus more on how I make them feel instead of how I look, right? Thanks for the advice

What if you're not above average looking and don't get approached? It's so confusing how everyone talks about looks not mattering when articles like this make that seem so blatantly incorrect

Great suggestions, thanks

Wow that's insane, good to know

Thanks that's a good point! How do you start conversations about them?

Yeah I'm only concerned about the short term effect since i'm at college and want to make the most of it

Really? That's good to hear, thanks!

That's a good idea!

I'm not too good at explaining myself. Let's be honest all people are shallow to some degree; we do judge others based on appearance even just slightly. So I'm concerned that it'll stop me from getting my foot in the door, cause I'm not a great looker in general. But yeah if she's that superficial that she'll reject me on that basis she's definitely not worth my time.

Yeah hopefully. I see the end of college as the end of my social life (cause of work) but I know that's irrational. Even so, I don't wanna waste my prime years frustrated

Yeah, I decided to not go for a colour that would be hard to notice but fully embrace the change. It doesn't even look that bad to be honest! Still am a little shy to smile widely in public though!

Yeah definitely, I'm still terrible at taking rejection. Are there any good ways of thickening your skin? It all essential boils down to seeking worth from others but I haven't gotten past that obstacle either

OK, that's cool. Looks wise I'm like a 6-7 though so I don't have much attraction even without the braces, just a little worried that this'll worsen it even more you know

Yeah I'm thinking that if I have some progress and success with them on, then I'll be even better when they're off too!

Good point. I'm not looking to get with someone that shallow. What if she doesn't like it though, even if she's nice i wouldn't get my foot in the door

That's good to hear! My issue is building attraction in the first place (I find it hard to put my best foot forward) so that's what's stressing me if braces get in the way too.

Yeah, the only thing that worries me is that I'll still have them when i graduate. And I want to make sure I make the most of university while I'm still here, that means making progress with girls and sleeping with them. Stressed that the braces will make that even more unrealistic.

Yeah I take comments like that pretty personally. At least it hasn't hindered your game too much.

Yeah, but surely people do notice, especially when you laugh? I'm just worried that girls will lose/not have attraction when they see it, and I'm not doing well without this handicap

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
