Really depends on what you are defining as the red Pill. What a lot of what the red pill was is now broadly mainstream opinion. Evolutionary psychology is now widely accepted by even reasonable feminists like Louise Perry and Mary Harrington and both of their recent feminist books are a reaction to changes in dating and the differences between men and women. do you think these men are actually sleeping with that many women? Is the red pill working? For some guys, yeah. If your aim in life is to …

I don't remember saying that. I think the red and blue pill are stupid which is why I'm flared up as purple pill.

I assumed when you described cat ladies as stereotypical “cat ladies” are strong, self-sufficient women with backgrounds in STEM, the military, or law (ie, traditionally fields that require high levels emotional regulation and commitment). You were referring to normal women who own cats not mentally ill horders who thinks the local pigeons are stealing her spoons.

The black pill refers to the idea that attraction is an immutable characteristic. The red Pill is the idea you can hack your level of attractiveness. Incels are blackpilled. They believe there is nothing they can do about their situation or in their words "it's over and it never even began" there is normally a path to inceldom that goes from bluepill to redpill to black pill. When I think of extreme cat ladies, I think of kinda weird old ladies who sit at home knitting and call the cops over ran…

is that not what a cat lady looks like No. Cat lady is really short for "crazy cat lady" just like incel refers to a man who is black pilled, a user of incel forums and unattractive not a guy who is involuntarily celibate.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 05:43 AM

Then they're not stereotypical cat ladies. The stereotype is the cat lady from the Simpsons or f is for family. If I said I know some involuntary celibate men who are stereotypical incels that are in STEM, the military, or law (ie, traditionally fields that require high levels emotional regulation and commitment). You'd say then they're not typical incels.

No idea. My point is that everyone understands that letting a bunch of guys blow loads up you is gross. No one wants to marry the man or woman who does that. I'd be impressed with a guy or girl who'd fucked a bunch of attractive woman. I'd be grossed out by a guy or girl who's been fucked by a bunch of attractive men.

I was simply describing what a cat lady is as you seemed confused about the term. Is there a particular reason why you are so mad at me?

I'd say it has more to do with being emotionally erratic to the point that people are unable to put up with you resulting in a life with cats as they're the most commitment you are able to make.

This just shows a complete lack of understanding. I as a man could right now sign up to ginder and given my proximity to a city with a very high population of gay men could easily have my asshole creampied a dozen times before the end of the day. I could not however sign up to a dating app and fuck a dozen women by the end of the day. Both men and women understand this and both stright men and stright women would rather not commit to either men or women who have have their orifices filled with r…

Same reason why women set their height preferences on dating apps to 6 foot+. You can make arguments that being tall isn't a physical advantage in a relatively safe world (we're not being attacked by rival tribes) and with guns as the great equaliser but your monkey brain doesn't know that.

the issue I see is most men go though an awkward stage and they improve themselves to become more appealing, most guys that are great partners now were once losers or at least felt like losers. Porn has already done a number on these guys and more men than ever are checking out. If you add AI girlfriend to that issue it's going to make things way worse. you can say "oh well they're just losers lol" but the reality is that this is going to be the perfect tool for limbic capitalism. the australian…

I think uni grads are rightfully upset because they are still told to go to college and "work hard" for results that never come How is that difficult from the blue pill? Arent women being lied to as well? Yep a lot. I recently read the case against the sexual revolution and feminism againt progress. Both written by staunch feminists. I agree with almost everything they write.

Straight women are broadly not interested in dating men who are bisexual and have had their asshole creampied by dozens of men. I'm 100% Percent sure the reason is because women are just jealous of bi guys who are sexually liberated.

If you want to argue that men are silly for falling for the propaganda then I certainly agree with you and it's even more stupid now young people have access to the Internet. there is no bluepill propaganda. mainstream society was never conspiring to make men less fuckable to women. Who's lying to university students. Anyone can see that university degrees don't guarantee a job. They have no right to be annoyed that the 70k they spent getting a masters in philosophy meant the only employment they could find was at Starbucks. Because men are being lied to. Why are university graduates mad that they are stuck doing entry level jobs post graduation? Because they were told their degree that they spent tens of thousands of dollars on would result in a high paying job. If you tell someone "if you do A B & C then you'll get X Y & Z" and that turns out to not only not true but clearly a lie you're going to be mad that you were lied to.

I means it's a basic cost benifit analysis. There's a huge difference in how you get treated when you're viewed as attractive. I had a "glow up" in my late teens and the difference was staggering.

Again it's not clearly in decline as all your evidence shows is migration from 1 app to others. The main app showing a 5% decrease after everyone was locked in their houses so unable to meet people. several factors. The stats show a discrepancy so that number has to come from somewhere. The fact that we know from dating stats that a small number of men get a massive amount of matches we know that men are higher in sociosexuality so would rather date multiple women given the opportunity. I disagree. Casual dating often means people are dating more than 1 person. Since there's a lack of eligible young men it makes sense that given their high demand they would be dating multiple women.

I certainly agree that most women would rather be single than date the bitter guys on here. I also don't blame men who don't wish to be treated like a commodity as described on female dating strategy. If my options were to be single or be treated like a resource, I'd choose single. It's also where I have a lot of empathy to "femcels" that a lot of the guys on here say don't exist. I think that the option to be treated as a fuck doll or not have a relationship isn't really an option at all.

I think you simply don't understand evolutionary psychology. Let's look at a study into children's toy preferences. I don't think "no one cares about your preference" is a fair interpretation. People do care about other people's preferences especially when they reflect the preferences of larger society. If a woman says "I only want to date guys over 6ft" shorter guys don't get mad at her, they get mad at the fact that preferences shown on dating apps and that women then becomes a target for their resentment. You believe they're infants, but if you kill them early enough for your liking it's okay. The majority of abortions occur in the first trimester according to statistic Right but around 20% aren't which is around 150,000 a year. because the fetus has severe medical problems that couldn't be found earlier. When exactly does it become wrong for a doctor to perform a medical procedure? In cases unlike the above or mothers life is not at risk. aka elective

I'm not really interested in getting into the philosophical debate with you. The vast majority of people understand that abortion after a certain point is wrong in all but the most extreme circumstances. You can try to sanitise the language all you like.

No. The issue at the moment is the number of very attractive men is much lower than the number of women interested in casual sex. The vast majority of women are not interested in casual sex (this can be shown where there're more men than women in an environment there's much less casual sex as women have more control of the market and in gay vs lesbian numbers of casual sex). i knew a 20 year old girl who dated 15 year old boy. I know a person who lived til 95 who smoked everyday. What that teaches us is nothing other than rules have exceptions that are statistically irrelevant. under 20 usually care more about looks than wealth. So then they're dating the hot 21 year old guy who's in on off relationships with multiple 18-19 year old girls.

The keys word here is commited and the key number is the missing numbers that are men 30-35 which a huge number of women aged 25+ who will be dating. As I understand it red pillers promote a world of traditional relationships but also accept that is not the culture they live in and there is nothing they can do to change it; therefore the best solution is thrive in the environment they do exist in not pretend they live in a different environment. it's not up to redpillers to solve the crisis of single mothers.

“Preference” implies that there is a choice I have a preference for ice-cream over eating dog shit. The fact I have no interest in one and a lot of interest in the other doesn't change the fact that's a preference. Did I choose to prefer ice cream over dog shit or was I born that way? Does the answer to the question matter? Could I be talked into thinking ice cream tastes better than dog shit?

Friendzoned colloquially describes a relationship where 1 person is trying to win over the heart of a friend. It's not really a gendered term woman can and often are either friendzoned or fuckzoned by men. It's the unequal relationship that matters with one person trying to win the other person over. The reason why people consider it immoral is you are using a person's feelings for your self gain often using techniques like bread crumbling.

Who sets the value is any given market? The buyer, things are worth what people are willing to pay and what people want. I could equally say your value is not your sense of humour or your interests. I'd say the difference here is that the stats show that you being successful means you're more likely to attract a partner and that partner is more likely to be happy with you and you with her. The opposite is true for successful women. So the question becomes if you were using game theory what is the best way to maximise your life. We know self reported data tends to suck though. It's perfectly reasonable to say that a woman admitting to cheating is going to show her as promiscuous which is a social negative. Perhaps a better question would be to ask both sexes have you ever been cheated on. We know most men don't fuck kids because we know most people have not been the victims of childhood sexual abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 12:27 PM

Except we see them do it alll the time. If you say any thing about stats about women on here you g offended as women see themselves as one group. Right but if I say "men commit the vast majority of of rapes" the correct response is "yes why is that and how can we stop it" not "women rape too though" Women have an ingroup bias and often react like a criticism of women is a criticism of them. Most men have no problem with people being critical of men as we don't feel any affinity to the psycos of our sex.

The history of shotgun weddings and social enforcement of monogamy and fathers being responsible went out of the window the exact same time as the pill and roe vs wade. The reason for that is because it stopped being the man responsibly as the woman had options. If you don't want to raise the kid on your own then flush it became the standard attitude rather than the father needs to be responsible for something he did. You can say stupid non arguments like you have but reality reflects my view.

Women generally have more friends than men. Both men and women are wary of random dudes talking to them. Having a high tolerance just means it's more expensive. People are going to be weirded out if you try and carry their stuff, they'll probably think you're trying to rob them.

Right but you understand supply and demand right. It doesn't matter if there are 10 million or 10 it's about ratios.

And men of all races go to jail it's just more profound in the black community. The issue is that if you do both of these things to a community you end up with a lack of economically attractive men.

The law of diminishing returns is certainly in effect when it comes to female success and dating opportunities. I do think there is a sweet spot but I couldn't put my finger on exactly where it is.
/r/AllPillDebate22/12/22 08:51 PM

*successful black guys. I'd say that they actually have the most options as there's a lack of successful black guys vs successful black women.
/r/AllPillDebate22/12/22 08:16 PM
2

This doesn't cover the fact that almost twice as many black women than black men have degrees. Comparing both with degrees when there's almost twice the attanement level with women is bad analysis. If black women with college degrees want to date a black guy with a degree then it's not a great position to be in from a supply and demand stand point.
/r/AllPillDebate22/12/22 08:16 PM

they struggle to get a successful black guy to commit as they have options. Does that help you?
/r/AllPillDebate22/12/22 08:09 PM

Except prison is often for unstable people and it massively impacts your ability to get a good job. This hurts one's ability to support one's self which you have conveniently removed from your prior list of requirements.

Sorry I meant justice system not in prison. That article doesn't debunk that stat but I'm happy to be corrected. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2015/06/16/the-stale-statistic-that-one-in-three-black-males-has-a-chance-of-ending-up-in-jail/ This goes into it being out of date but not wrong and the updated information is currently unclear.

I guess the point is these women aren't fat losers they're successful and don't want to date fat losers. If you want to talk about fat, ugly, broke bitches I'm on the same page as you.

/r/AllPillDebate22/12/22 05:03 PM

One thing I'd add to this is that on average black women massively out perform black men so they struggle to get a successful black guy (most people have in group bias re dating) to commit as they have options.

1) housework is easy, easier if you're single. It's easy now. Prior to the Internet and modern appliances it was a massive amount of work. sex was never a issue to nobody LOL Wut.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 02:13 PM
1

The point I'm making is the traditional relationship dynamic of men providing and women looking after the home is dead. I'm not suggesting men should want women to do their house work especially since house work is now so easy. Nor should women expect a man to provide as they are equally capable of working. The fact is that this change in dynamic means men and women need each other less if at all so relationships are less appealing.

When I lived alone I'd simply batch cook and that'd last me a good while and I'd have a selection of meals as I'd freeze them and/or use them as work lunches. 1 plate was very common as I'd only cook a few days a week. Everything can be washed at 40 as far as I understand. It's only heavily soiled stuff you need to wash on hot and adults don't tend to do that. Maybe I have been doing it wrong my whole life. I never built my life around minimal house work nor do any of my friends who live alone. …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 11:11 AM

How many plates do you need for dinner? What hobbies are you talking about that require house work? What do they really enjoy wearing that means they are getting changed multiple times a day?

Washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, roombas, ready meals, cheaper to replace than repair, online groceries, amazon, clothes shopping. on line billing, banking etc etc. Running a house was a lot of work now living alone is incredibly easy. You're not making your life easier by having a girlfriend move in with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 09:37 AM

When you say the juice isn't worth the squeeze do you mean: 1)What women used to provide is housework/household management and that's largely been replaced by tech. 2)Sex isn't as much of an issue because porn 3)The expectations of women are high so jumping though the number of hoops you feel you have to isn't worth the reward given points 1 and 2 4) something else

This is the issue I see too. Even doing everything "right" you're still probably going to leave uni between 21 and 24 then you have to find some entry job you'll have to deal with for a couple of years then you'll maybe be able to just about afford your own apartment or only share with 1 other person. Maybe a lot are but I don't think 2/3s of men graduating University are. To me it seems like it's saying to men to "just be successful" totally ignoring the fact that it takes a long time to be successful and guys aren't going to work their ass off for a decade to settle for mediocre pussy. If women are only going to go for these top performers then they will inevitably be cheated on or fuck zoned as that was the guys reason to be successful.

And you think that would make the results less shocking if we found what? That the small percentage of mature students were having more sex? That students studying maths were at 90% not having sex compared to drama at 50%? I'm not sure what data point could make this not a shocking statistic.

It's not ownership it's responsibility. I don't really care about the ceremonial traditions. What I see as interesting is the real world application which doesn't work if the contract can be voided by either party for no reason with no repercussions. If I try to get out of a contract then I have to make the other party whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/22 02:26 PM

They speak about this bias... you didn't read so why argue? If your opinion is made already. Why bother? Only for health which makes sense for things like insurance. It is debunking one. Did all of them have the same bias? Hm... no. Yeah the general happyness one which is what we were discussing. They are also all referencing the same data set apart from the depression one which I have no idea about.

we can all agree that signing a contract that to be with a person no matter what is not conducive to equality. Can we? I don't have any issues with contracts. The only issue that I see is that there's no point in a contract that can be broken with no repercussions.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/22 02:15 PM

like you say marriage means different things to different people but that wasn't always the case. Marriage as it is has relatively little legal or social value. If I can break a legal contract despite the other party doing nothing wrong and can't face any damages then that contract is meaningless. I'm in my mid 30s and I've considered marriage dead my entire life. It's only use now is it's easier to break up with legal precedence but the whole idea of marriage was that you can't break up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/22 10:40 AM
2

There's a lot of precedence when it comes to marriage that there isn't without it. You're signing 1 form that has a decent legal structure behind it rather than trying to write up legal agreements that could be contested. Question is if it is even good with kids... that's something you have to figure out for yourself just like is it better to buy or lease a car. It depends on the circumstances. I certainly wouldn't advise it for anyone who doesn't have or doesn't want kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/22 10:33 AM

Men in long term relationship and marriage tend to be in better health, have better carrier and better social life and hobbies because their wives take care of them and the "domestic" parts of their life, allowing them to focus on the rest. Or it's simply a matter of selection bias. Married men tend to be taller too, do you think we add a few inches after the ceremony? It seems much more likely that women want to marry tall, healthy, attractive, guys with good jobs. https://archive-yaleglobal.ya…

I'm anti name calling too. If that's the only issue then fine. Personally I see a lot of women criticising guys in ways they would never be critical of women on here all the time. The typical advice for struggling guys is to tell them to just be successful or get jacked at the gym. I don't think they'd demand women get rich if they want a boyfriend or drop down to a size 4. In fact they actively shame men for not wanting to date overweight women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/22 04:14 PM
2

I don't understand what that is supposed to mean. When the sex ratio benifits men then men set the rules of dating. When the sex ratio benifits women then women set the rules of dating. Same culture, same county, same year. Only difference is sex ratio. This shows women would rather have a system of dating and relationships and men would rather have a system of hook ups.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/22 04:07 PM

You seem to keep acting like there are not different standards men and women hold each other to. Women wanting a taller parter is not hypocritical. Women wanting a guy who is a high earner is not hypocrital, women wanting a guy who will pay for dates, go downstairs if there is a bump in the night, defend them in a fight etc etc are all fine. It's also OK that a guy wants a woman who hadn't fucked the town.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/22 03:41 PM
3

Except we can prove that's not true easy enough. In environments where men out number women thus women control the market we see more dating and relationships and where men are scarce we see more hook up culture. This is shown in things like collages with varying numbers of men and women and different cities and rural environments. We can also see it in the gay and lesbian communities where one predominantly values hook ups and the other relationships.

From the Cambridge dictionary proclivity noun [ C ] formal UK /prəˈklɪv.ə.ti/ US /prəˈklɪv.ə.t̬i/ the fact that someone likes something or likes to do something, especially something considered morally wrong: the sexual proclivities of celebrities

I'm not saying people can't change I'm saying that most people don't and previous behaviour is the best indication of future behaviour. I would rather invest in people who have a history of positive behaviour than a history of negative behaviour. You see exactly the same with banks and insurance companies. Why take the risk? It's not moralising the issue any more than saying I don't want to date an alcoholic even if they joined AA last week. My preference is for them to simply not have that prob…

Previous behaviour is the best indication of future behaviour. If you constantly cane every credit card into the red and don't pay your bills then you can expect that no bank is going to invest in you. If you whore around then you can't expect any man to invest in you. Saying "yeah I fucked every guy I've ever met but I've quit sex so now I deserve commitment" is absolutely crazy. Moralizing sex (but only for women) is a huge problem in this community. Why? I can have any standards I like. My wi…

My point is that it's difficult to just have a "good personality" which really means an attractive personality if you are an unattractive guy. There's things like the OKcupid study that shows people rate more physically attractive people as having better personalities. I was a late bloomer and the difference in how girls treated me was night and day. My personality didn't improve one bit yet suddenly I was "funny". https://imgur.com/KG2UFF2.jpg that meme is very true.

"If the problem was that women were having issues meeting men, it would make sense that we might want to change" The problem with dating is similar to the problem with the job market. It's not that it's difficult to find anything it's that it's difficult to find some thing you want. Saying "I don't need to improve my CV because I can walk into any McDonald's or Walmart and get a job" is clearly a stupid thing to say. If you want a job or a man worth having then you need to be appealing.

no one labels working hard as toxic masculinity. Unfortunately they do. They also call it white supremacy. i said Machiavellianism is the easiest way to be successful. ex: robbing a bank is easier than earning money. Sure but it doesn't work as a long term strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/22 07:36 AM
1

Right so you engaged in working hard long hours and doing more than the next person aka being competitive. This is what gets labeled toxic as it's rewarding what some view as over working. not more than anyone else That you know who are also probably successful. I don't need to as I just stated. You can't on one hand say that machiavellianism Is the only way to success then say you're successful despite being super nice and kind. Which is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/22 07:14 PM

then how are women successful? By engaging in "toxic masculinity." so many men say stuff like this as if they've never read Machiavelli and understood that people have always known its easier to get ahead in life if you are shitty. The problem is that toxic masculinity is often code for what you have to do to be successful. Working long hours, taking risks, being competitive etc. It's a prisoners dilemma that if you don't want to work hard then someone will and you'll be left behind and they'll have lots of success. The feminist argument suddenly ends up with calling men who aren't successful losers and don't deserve a girlfriend or they suggest communism to stop the drive to have higher status than the next guy.

I don't think the latter is bad advice but the former is like the crazy bitches with "if you don't accept me at my worst, you don't deserve me at best" posters on their walls.

Blue pill is the idea that a high investment strategy I.e. Simping is how to get success. It doesn't work. I think blue pill is traditional as the traditional dating style is high investment where the red Pill pushes low investment and to cast a wide net.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/22 10:04 AM
3

The issue is that TRP is a reaction to the fact that being traditional doesn't work for the vast majority of men. Yes you can be a blue pilled guy who is super nice to women but the reality is that it's probably not going to get you very far in today's dating environment unless you're also very attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/22 08:57 AM
3

You're assuming that because the majority of women don't want a hyper masculine body builder guy that makes it a bad idea. Let's say only 10% of women want a guy like that, well as long less than 10% are like that then it's going to help guys get laid because the demand out strips the supply.

You understand that women can run too? I'm also taller and stronger than most men and outside of never getting mugged while I was living in dodgy places I've never really seen it as some huge benefit.

4

How has being stronger and faster than women been a real benifit?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 06:39 PM
2

The issue is that although the women would respond that's not going to work now because you can only communicate with people who match with you. To me there's always going to be an issue when women rate 80% of men as physically unattractive and as intelligence is a bell curve half of men are below average intelligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 05:54 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:32 PM
6

Right but this is often selection bias. It's like saying tall men are more likely to be married or rich men are more likely to be married. Yeah it's because women are attracted to rich and tall men. Being married doesn't make you tall or rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:28 PM
1

Agreed and that's why you'd have nowhere to sit. I understand that you might think "I have 6 hot guys in my dms I don't have to settle" but at some point there's no more good seats. I think so many young women are blinded by their apparent options they they can't understand the basic maths of the situation. A good relationship is better than being single and being single is better than a bad relationship. If you spend too long deciding then you're going to end up single.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 11:54 AM
12

What you seem to be saying here is the usual argument which is telling men "just be successful bro". It's not terrible advise but how long and hard to you expect some 19 year old young guy to work in order to get a girlfriend? Saying to a 19 year old that when he's 30 he'll be successful and then girls that previously rejected him might be willing to settle for him now he has some money doesn't seem like advise that's going to motivate him when he can just jerk off and play videogames.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 09:34 AM
1

Right but you have to accept there's a 1:1 gender ratio. It's like saying you've got so many chairs to pick from in a game of musical chairs. It's not incorrect but you're going to find you've got nowhere to sit if you don't sit down fast enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 09:29 AM

But I'm not more than happy for my tax to go towards that because I have my own children which I am responsible for and now under your law I'd have to take food out of their mouths to give to some other kid because his father doesn't want to pay. I don't really mind what you want to pay for. If you want to pay you can just give the money away. Why do you demand parents such as myself to pay for other men's kids when I already have to pay for my own?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 05:18 AM
1

You're not giving men freedom of choice you're taxing men for other men's kids. I'd like to financially abort their kids as they're not mine. Where's my freedom in this situation? If you want to give money to men paying child support then go and just give them money. You don't have to involve the government.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 01:54 PM
1

Can I ask how you believe it's more just that a rich guy (who is more likely to be able to have casual sex) is allowed not to pay for his bastard children while I as a responsible father have to pay more taxes to subside his misadventures despite being a middle earner? This subsidise the rich thing is like the free college thing. At first it looks good then you realise it's just poor people paying for privileged people who should be paying for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 05:25 AM

The choice is simple You pay for your own kids or you pay for other people's. As a man who believes in personal responsibility I don't agree with financial abortion.

The patrearchy is literally a conspiracy theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/22 01:29 PM
2

Because you can't on one hand say it's a conspiracy that men out earn women and make up the vast majority of highly successful people and on the other hand say that it's the way men can massively increase their dating prospects. It's not the patrearchy keeping women down it's women's demand for successful men making them highly competitive in a way women simply don't have to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/22 01:15 PM

No but I would stop dating her pretty quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 02:15 PM

So if you broke your leg and your gay friend defended you would you blow him? Seems weird dude. If you were hanging out with a girl and she said she'd fucked all her male friends because they gave her a ride to the airport or changed a washer in the shower head to stop it leaking you'd think t…

I'm saying that women's sexual preference is a man a few years older than her. If she's 15 then yes her ideal is 18 and if she's 23 her ideal is 27. And I agree, and the science shows the same that this stops after around 40 in men. It's much easier as a normal guy being older as you're not a gawky, lanky spaz with no money or status.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/22 05:12 AM

An average guy will have more success at age 30 than 20, but at 20 you could have more options, if you're good looking. Agreed. The vast majority of of men are not good looking though. I certainly agree that if you're a tall attractive guy in his early 20s you will do fine. Not many guys in their early 20s have any money or status so being tall and fit is a big advantage and the only reason I had any luck in my early 20s as an otherwise autistic loser.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/22 06:25 PM

You know most women in their mid to late 20s don't have kids right? I don't expect college girls to be into a 30 year old guy but he's probably going to have more luck with women his own age than he did when he was 20. I'm not sure what exactly you're going on about at the end. My statement is pretty simple. It's easier to date as a guy in your late 20s rather than in your teens /early 20s when most guys are a gawky awkward mess.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/22 06:12 PM

You've not disproved anything I'd said. We can disagree if you like but I can post information that shows men have a much better time dating in their early 30s than early 20s. Yes there are exceptional young guys but that's not the norm. Oh and the source is an OKcupid study they did.

IDK man, An "adonis" has been a standard of beauty for men, for centuries. Stories of "older" women going for younger guys too. How many women with options date down in age VS date up? All things being equal a 25 year old women will not date a 8/10 19 year older over an 8/10 28 year old. The same statement is not true for men. No one sees some 35yo balding skinny fat dude with greying hair as beautiful. No one sees ugly dudes at any age as attractive. Whereas youthful features such as full head …

I'd add to this that youth isn't a feature for men in the way it is for women. Being 21 isn't a plus for men in the same way it is for women.

That's a really great summary of how I think a massive amount of women feel. I don't often save comments but I'm saving that. The crux of the matter seem to be that both sexes are happier alone than the other sex understands. Men hear women saying like you said that you want the idyllic house, kids and husband but it's up to men to get to a level where you are willing to sacrifice your happy life for a better one. Men then respond you can just lower your standards completely ignoring that would …

I think the simple reality is we're going to see a lot more single people going forwards. Men either can't or won't meet the expectations of women (I'll get into that if you want) and women would much rather be single than be in relationships with guys who they don't find attractive.

They pick people who are easy to abuse. Child abusers do the same to children they pick the quiet, isolated kids. It's not a matter of strength they are stronger than all of them it's picking who won't fight back.

Well convince me with a compelling argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 07:16 PM

I'm just curious about how you rate a random selection of 10 men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 07:15 PM

If it was just physical strength then she could solve it with a gun.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 07:14 PM

Incorrect. Physical ability has little to do with abuse
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 06:20 PM

Why don't you do a quick experiment and rate the next 10 profiles that come up and tell me why 80% are terrible?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 05:53 PM
3

I think it's very reasonable to not engage with people with no explanation of who they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 05:21 PM
1

Then you understand that physical size isn't how abuse works.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 05:06 PM
2

Yes. You are saying if men fixed themselves up they'd do much better but as is they are below average.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:45 PM
2

You clearly have no idea how abusive relationships work.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:43 PM

I still don't see how that makes it a good idea. Fucking the girl up the road doesn't make me more or less able to leave it just makes me a dick even if my partner is abusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:25 PM
2

So 95% of men are below average?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:23 PM

You said you have the data. I'm simply asking for a link to this 500 times thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:18 PM

That's like asking for a good reason to rape. There's no real answer to that question. "because it makes me feel better about myself" is neither a good reason to cheat or rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:16 PM
2

I simply don't see how fucking the guy/girl up the road to make myself feel better about myself is a good reason to cheat.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:14 PM
13

Kinda sounds like you just view 95% of men as below average.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:12 PM

That sounds like a terrible reason to cheat.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 04:11 PM

So do family and shelters. I can picture a lot of guys telling a woman to piss off when she shows up with a bag of clothes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 03:50 PM

I don't understand how that is quantified. How do say you're in 500 times more risk?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 03:49 PM

I don't get why leaving is more dangerous than cheating. I don't understand why him finding you with your dad is more dangerous than him finding you in bed with the post man.

500 times what?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 01:47 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 12:48 PM

You become more selective. Over 6ft, masters degree, over 6 figure salary etc. The issue is that as pretty much all women have to do this only the top small percentage of men get a load of matches and they treat the women as disposable meaning the women actually have a bad time on there too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 11:50 AM
2

I'm not sure what the 2 week time frame has to do with it. Surly if he's motivated to kill you then he'll get the job done in 2 weeks?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 11:44 AM
9

I'm taking it up with you as it's you who made the statement that women are "VERY likely to get killed" I would like to know what that means. 1 in 10? 1 in 100? 1 in a million? At what odds is it acceptable to cheat to as a preventative measure to stop yourself from being murdered and does cheating lower the odds of a violent response from your ex?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 10:55 AM
1

No I'm sure you'll be fine. The issue that is "The wall" is really that if you have Mr ideal who's say over 6 foot tall, handsome and has a great job well he's likely going to pick to pick a 27 year old over you as he has a bunch of options. However is you date with in your own league you'll have no problem finding a guy who's a great match for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 10:53 AM
8

By what numbers? either there are a very very low number of abusive men or there's a very very low risk of being killed by them. I also again don't see how fucking another guy is going to lower you chances of being shot in the face.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 10:42 AM
7

What would you put the percentage of men who are abusers?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 09:39 AM
20

it's like 70 women per year which is not an inconsequential amount however it's also a very low number considering there's like 150 million women in the US. They are not "VERY likely to get killed" and I don't think that fucking Bob down the road is doing anything to lower your chances of getting shot.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 09:24 AM

No you wanted to moderate the conversations because they make you mad hence your bitching. If no one cares why are you so mad? Why are there constant attempts to slience? They're taking flak because they are over the target and you know it. Stay mad.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 02:45 PM

You were clearly very proud of your ambition to police conversations. You have now realised that is not possible. Youe argument with me is now telling me how you think men should behave. You have accepted you have no power. I have no influence and even if I did I wouldn't agree with you. You have lost.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 07:25 PM

Lol I absolutely will police how people discuss things if it’s completely ridiculous and lacks any accountability for being half the problem. Get over it. You very obviously are upset as per the post you made above. Saying that you you "absolutely will police how people discuss things" despite having 0 power has obviously got you upset. The question remains. Why are you so insistent on policing men's conversations and why are you so mad that you can't.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 05:09 PM

They absolutely do when they are talking about gender relations. It makes no sense to only discuss one half of the problem. It’s like having a broken machine and only focusing on one thing that’s broken without addressing the other. Lol I absolutely will police how people discuss things if it’s completely ridiculous and lacks any accountability for being half the problem. Get over it. You very clearly are upset that you can't police them. You will never police them no matter how much you cry. So…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:43 PM

Yes it is. It's pure whatabouterty which is trying to change the subject. You know on a men's forum they are discussing issues that men have. It's not up to you what other people discuss and they're under no obligation to put up with your "but but look at how men do bad thing!" whining. Respect the safe space.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:15 PM

No it's derailing. If women are talking about rape then the topic is men raping women. If a man then chimes in attempts to change the topic to women raping men that is derailing. It's perfectly OK for women to talk about men raping women as women raping men doesn't effect them. Now replace women with men and rape with any topic you want. Now add a sprinkle of empathy and understand how wrong you are.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 06:25 AM
1

yeah and they rightfully get banned for derailing the convo. When they’re venting becomes blatant sexism and ridiculous generalizations then women are allowed to tell you to stfu and give you the cold shoulder. And men are allowed to ban them and tell them to go fuck themselves. I don't get how you don't understand it's okay for men and women to have their own spaces. Stop trying to police people.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/22 01:28 PM
1

Cool then men should all brigade feminist forums and do exactly what you're suggesting to women and make sure that they post about how women are bad too. Or maybe people should be allowed places to vent and discuss ideas with out you policing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/22 12:58 PM

No it's like women discussing rape on a feminist forum and some idiot MRA jumping in and saying "why are you not bringing up how many men are sexually assaulted by women!"
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 05:08 PM

They don't have a duty to talk about how men make terrible boyfriend's. If you want to make a sub about how bad men are feel free. Stop policing how people discuss things.

It depends on the man. I'm mostly on the pro choice side ( i think abortion is wrong but I still think you have the right to not provide your body) and disagree with financial abortion as I don't think responsible men should have to pay for irresponsible men blowing loads in women. Some man want it as they deem it only fair as women have the right to abortion. I've never heard any man argue that they want a situation where financial abortion is legal but abortion is illegal.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 12:17 PM

Don't bi men mostly end up only dating men? There's a lot more straight women than men who sleep with men but both bi women and bi men prefer men. https://thesocietypages.org/socimages/2010/07/26/bisexuality-and-dating-on-okcupid/ As shown in this data both men and women are primarily messaging men and this is particularly true for men in their 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 11:37 AM

If women are forced to have children, then the father should definitely be forced to support them. You understand that is literally what Conservatives want right? It's even a popular meme https://imgur.com/5DYgIDy.jpg TRP argument about financial abortion is in regards to if women are allowed to kill babies men should at least be allowed to abandon them. It's not an argument in favour of abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 11:24 AM
3

How is that relivent to a guide on how to pick up women? The issue most people seem to have with TRP is they think it's a moral argument rather than a logical argument. They're not talking about men so the topic simply isn't talked about.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 11:20 AM

Women fall in love with the guy they can get. That's not the same as arguing that women can get commitment from any man. That's like arguing that I could buy any car I wanted in the world and I choose to drive a shitty Nissan. The reality is my shitty Nissan Is cheap as fuck to run and so I put up with it. Doesn't change the fact that the reason I don't drive a GT3 is because I can't afford one.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 08:38 AM

So then explain how the majority of women who want to get married are going to secure a high value spouce when there are more women who want to get married than there are high value men? You're argument is despite the majority of women wanting marriage and the majority of men being losers women are going to find absolutely no issues in getting married. It makes no sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 08:25 AM
1

Do you have any data to back that up that the majority of women would rather never get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 08:06 AM

It's still not making any sense. Let's just break this down and see where we're going off. At maximum I'd say around 25% of men are desirable. But let's for arguments sake say it's 50%. That means that if people all pair up (and they do it's called marriage) then 50% of women are going to find they're unable to get commitment from the top 50% of men. Having a large population doesn't change the maths. It doesn't matter if you have 10 people playing musical chairs or a million, the fundamentals o…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 07:43 AM

Women have no problem getting committment from whoever they realistically want at any age under 60. The desirable men are often getting ran through by many women. There are enough to go around when women share. Pick one. You can't say women can get commitment from any man then say women have to share the top men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 06:02 AM
1

There aren't that many millionaires. Exactly my point. You can't all get anyone you want because there's not enough desirable men to go around. Don't you think every woman under 60 living below the poverty line would love to marry a rich loving handsome tall guy to take them out of their miserable lives? According to you they're choosing not to do that and Insted marrying Jerry with 5 teeth.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 07:31 PM
1

The Paul Rudd bit was hyperbole but the point is why if any woman can get any man are all women not married to very attractive, tall, charismatic, influencal, multimillionaires? You're argument is nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 06:27 PM
1

When men say who they're attracted to, all they think about is looks. I don't understand your point. Women think about everything. Looks is a factor. It is blindingly obvious guys in their teens and early 20s are more physically attractive than 30 year old men, but why would a woman be attracted to them for more than just looks? The data says you are incorrect on this. I'm in my 30s and so is my wife and all her friends. They don't swoon over teenagers. Women have no problem getting committment …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 05:34 PM
1

So you're saying women are most attracted to men there own age and men are attracted to younger women? I don't understand how that refutes my point that if you maximise men's options they'll date younger and if you maximise female choice they'll date around there age. The men women most want to date are the men with the most amount of of options. Thus if you want to get a guy with the most amount of options to commit to you then you need to do it in your 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 07:38 AM

That sounds like a load of nonsense. Can you please post your evidence. Here's mine. https://imgur.com/L6pO7dW.jpg Given just pictures men rare women in their early 20s most attractive and women rare the guys around their own age most attractive.

Have you seen the tinder stats on the number of matches the highly desirable men get? Men with options pick who ever they want. Men with less options get what they're given. Women want the men with options.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 05:15 AM

I'm saying that youth is part of looks. Youth is attractive. I'm not saying massively low I'm saying men in their mid 30s going for women in their mid to late 20s.

Right male models are better looking than a lot of women but I'm not attracted to men. Why would I pick objectively good looking over someone I'm attracted to? False men date younger when they can.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 06:34 PM

Because when you maximise male choice they date younger women. We also have the stats on attraction where women rate men their own age the most physically attractive. https://imgur.com/IHcCNKX.jpg

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 04:40 PM

And it could be people prefer to drive a Nissan than an audi but I think it's clear that people buy the car that they can afford. To argue men in their 30s don't want to date women in their 20s because that's not who they end up with doesn't seem like a very good argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 04:05 PM

Are you saying that because men choose the women who are willing to date them that means men don't have a preference for younger women?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 01:58 PM

I don't disagree with any of that. I think what you're missing is that a lot of men are checking out of relationships too. Woman seem to believe that men will marry anything and maybe at one point that was true but men are quite happy alone rather than being in a relationship with some women who makes him miserable. If women want to get pumped and dumped until they age out of men and into cats that's fine with everyone. I don't understand how you view that as some kind of win. Who exactly do you…

I'm confused as to what you mean by options. Let's say you want a guy who's tall, that's 15% of the population. You want him to be reasonably attractive too? half it you're down to 7.5% of the population. want him to have a decent income (top third) divide by 3 you're down to 2.5% of the male population. These top 2.5% of guys have options why exactly would they pick a woman who's 32 over a woman who's 26? So women in their 30s are going to have to drop some of these standards in their 30s becau…

women are constantly being tempted to cheat whereas men have to go out of their way. Yes women have more options when it comes to sex than men. This is not debatable at least not in good faith. On the other hand, men on social media are bombarded with prompts to consume sex-related material as a pipeline (for some) to engage in infidelity. I don't know what this means. I don't really use social media so can you tell me what I'm not seeing on Facebook or twitter that is going to make me cheat on …

I haven't made the argument that men are as faithful as their options or that women should marry boring men. I'm not sure what evidence you have that the men who are cheating are average or that they are cheating with sex workers. I'm also not sure what it has to do with my point here which is hypergamy is simply women doing the exact same thing as employees do when offered a better deal at a different company.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 07:43 PM
1

OK allow me to rephrase it's much easier for women to cheat on their husbands with a man who she is not paying to fuck her than it is for a man to cheat on his wife with a woman who he's not paying to fuck. I assumed every one understood that the users of the sub were aware of the fact prostitutes exist so I felt it would be superfluous but I'm happy to offer you a correction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 07:14 PM

I never said it was insignificant nor did I say that men don't cheat or that women cheat more. I'm a little confused as to what point you are attempting to make here?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 07:05 PM

So 85 to 80 percent of men aka the vast majority don't want to see sex workers or cheat on their wives even with the option of sex workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 06:51 PM

Of course the Internet makes it easier but the vast majority of of men won't use sex workers even while single. Most men (myself included) find prostitution gross.

I don't think I've made any moral statements in this discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:39 PM

The vast majority of men don't want to use sex workers. The stats on online dating are posted here all the time and it's not good for men unless you're extremely eligible. Also putting your pictures on tinder means every single female friend of your girlfriend is going to see you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:31 PM

Absolutely. The problem is that for men dating involves casting a wide net and that means time, effort and a high likelyhood of getting busted.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:28 PM

Men aren't presented with options is the main difference. If men had women trying to fuck them all the time they'd cheat a lot more. Yes loss is a part of the equation but if the cost benifit analysis works out then they'll go.

Your job is a relationship. It's a relationship with your employer and there's a deal there. You provide and get provided for, it's mutually beneficial. I'm many ways a job is the same as a relationship you find value, meaning and you get a lot of out it but you also have to put in work. If you change boyfriend to job then I think you'll understand hypergamy pretty quickly.

I'd like to develop my thoughts on your logic, but so far it does not completely answer my question, if a woman is supposedly always on the look-out for a better partner, why would she want to keep her current partner in check so he doesn't look for another partner too. Because women are head hunted and men have to apply for jobs. It's not that women are "always on the look out" it's they they are evaluating the options presented to them. Women do their best to make sure their partner doesn't ch…

Lets say you have a job which is pretty good and you're on a temporary contract. From our current understanding of things, humans tend to value their autonomy a lot. Especially when it comes to things like choosing what to do with our own time/money etc. So, it would be bad to have a government which "redistributes money". Fixed it for you. Wasn't the biggest change Christianity did that created harmonious societies was the enforcement of marriage and monogamy? To me I view blue pill as the belief that you can can a girl to date you by hanging around her enough/doing her favours/paying for shit/being an emotional tampon. The redpill is you can get girls to date you by working on yourself and making yourself more appealing. Usually what is meant by it is that 80% of the women in general go to the top 20% of guys, not just 80% of the more specific demographic of women interested in casual hookups I've always understood it as 20% of men have 80% of the hook ups I think that's how most of the sub sees it. I'd also add the caveat that women's sexual attraction isn't as limited to the physical domain as men's. You're confusing 80% of all sex with 80% of hook ups. Women generally don't want hook ups, so when they do they want it with the most attractive men they can. It's pretty easy to understand that if you get to pick whatever sexual partner you want then you're going to pick the one that's the most sexually attractive. The sexual market place is exactly that a market place and as with brands you see a Pareto distribution. It doesn't matter if it's trainers, smart phones, tomato ketchup or men. 80% …

Sure but it depends on what you're complaining about and to who. The problem I have with blue pill mentally is it lends itself to anger and bitterness because it's a high investment strategy. It's the difference between not getting a promotion you've been working towards for years and not getting a job you applied for. Making yourself more employable is a generally better strategy than trying to get a promotion.

Exactly. It's the just world fallacy. Idiot men think that if they put in so much effort they should be rewarded then get mad when women don't and they act out. Women do a similar thing and think they are owed a relationship because they let a guy bang them then act out when the guy doesn't call.

It doesn't contradict anything they are going to have fully mature bodies with make up to make their eyes big and nose small. It's basically hacking the male brain in terms of attraction. No one is saying "I find her attractive because she fertile" it's men are most attracted to signs of fertility as are all mammals.

So you're saying that 22 year olds are making the most money. I don't really care about the fact pedos exist. That's not news. The simple reality is men rate women most attractive in their early 20s.

Sure and women have always worked but they have not been able to support themselves. What I see today is highly atomised people who don't need each other so women have decided that if a man is going to enter their lives he needs to be amazing and men have decided that they're not going to jump though hoops when women have become an expensive luxury.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/22 04:17 AM

Women can get commitment from high value men not from low value men. High value men have options so choose not to commit. If there's 1000 women and 1000 men and women only want to date the top 200 men then the 1000 woman are going to find getting commitment difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 04:44 PM
1

Most women don't want to date older men. Women generally prefer to date men around 3 years older than them. I'm also not arguing women can't get men to commit I'm arguing they can't get the men they desire to commit. Women treating men as disposable is the norm. Men treating women as disposable isn't. Women don't like being treated as disposable and handle rejection much worse than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 02:59 PM
1

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. People are getting married and having children later and later. People date for longer generally speaking. I think you're misinterpreting what I said. Women have let's say 1000 men who want to date them with online dating. Well 1000 men is too many so they have to drop that to a manageable number. They do this by selecting by height, income, looks etc. This means women are all selecting the same men. These men aren't assholes they just have options.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 02:39 PM
1

I don't think anyone is saying individual women are wrong. The rational problem is that since women are generally selecting the same men that means that those guys treat women as disposable making women unhappy. It also makes the majority men unhappy as they can't compete. I don't think people are really offering a solution to this issue they're more simply irritated people say it's not happening.

It different because male and female SMV aren't the same. By the standard of who can get laid easier most 21 year old woman have a higher SMV than Henry at his peak. The amount of attention that attractive women get at 40 is much less than at 25 where as it's comparable for men.

https://imgur.com/4J4VO4a.jpg As shown in graph above women less attractive to men as men prefer women in their early 20s. Women however rate men most attractive around there own age range. Womens SMV drops and mens doesn't.

Let's say 80% of boys enjoy X While only 20% of girls enjoy X but 80% of girls enjoy Y while only 20% of boys enjoy Y. You simply provide more or less X or Y depending on if it's a boys school or a girls school.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/22 04:37 PM

Saying men are taller than women isn't the same as saying that all men are taller than all women. Men and women do have differences in temperament as do all male and female mammals. I'd advise you read some evolutionary psychology on things like disgust sensitivity in males and females or interest in things or people. It's all quite simple and makes complete logical sense.

Agreed but part of that is understanding and accepting reality. To me there's a difference between understanding unfairness and coming up with solutions and complaining. It's OK to analyse a specific difficulties or inequalities. You shouldn't just attempt to shut people down for talking unless it becomes a pity party.

Things like low social media presence, not super into fashion/beauty, close friend group rather than large number of acquaintances, doesn't make being "hot" part of their identity, not outwardly sexual etc etc.

There's a big gray area between captain fuckboi and plain old Rodger and that's what most people want. Attractive but low maintenance is the ideal option.

The more hyperbolic your rhetoric the more push back you'll get but opinions that were common sense 10 years ago are now treated as controversial. Saying borders aren't racist, women don't have penises and a woman who has had 50 sexual partners is less appealing to men than women who haven't are all now treated like some kind of fascist statements.

I have a lot of interest in the huge social change that's underway. I've been interested in it for probably around 15 years since I started reading about how men and women are not getting married or having children in Japan. I don't talk about my relationship on here really and I'm not interested in individuals. What I'm interested in is how the different philosophies clash here and how they are developing to deal with the rapidly changing dating scene.

Don't you remember the massive back lash because some guy said "men prefer debt free Virgins without tattoos"? Saying you're allowed to have an opinion but if you dare express it then you'll be met with absolute wrath isn't really being allowed to have an opinion.

the thing is we are not doing anything about cheating or abusive WOmen we are not working on making new generation better that's the problem. It's like whoopty do we have toxic WOmen instead of solving this issue let's teach men to be weary of all WOmen. This is literally the entire principle of TRP and MGTOW. the only guys I’ve met who I felt any chemistry with turned out to be in relationships or are not looking for one. I’ve been on some dates, I’m on dating apps; but honestly, the effort to get cute and put your best foot forward for someone who shows up to your date in denim shorts and a T-shirt from work is demoralizing. This is because women are all dating the same guys and those guys have options so don't want to settle. It's a 1 in 5 shot of getting a top 20% man to commit or you never settle…

So do black people so is it OK to treat all black people as hostile? To me that's an attitude that more of one gender do X so it's OK to treat the whole gender are like that. That's literally what sexism is. I'm also not talking just about crime. I'm talking about any given interaction men are viewed as aggressors and women as victims even if you flip the dialog. Watch the video I sent you in my last post.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/22 08:28 PM
1

The reason those lines exist is because men constantly put women first as a natural instinct. The boys will be boys or he'd never do anything like that is nothing compared to the halo effect women have. Look at prison sentences for the same crimes or when people on reddit have revered the genders on posts and in each time people say the male is the one in the wrong. https://youtu.be/iR9tixOJSi0 I'd advise watching this presentation on a scientific study that shows people's anti male bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/22 08:10 PM
1

But there's no equal in group bias for men and women value sex with men and that doesn't make men's lives valuable. I also don't believe it's a sex thing. If an 8 year old is killed it's a bit deal no matter if it's a boy or girl but add ten years and no one cares about the 18 year old man but the 18 year old woman is huge news. Young men simply don't have value. You can give me reasons why but it doesn't change the fact that they don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/22 07:35 PM
1

Being sexually desired has nothing to do with the in group bias for women or the fact women's lives are viewed as more valuable.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/22 07:11 PM
1

That's doesn't mean men and women are treated the same by society. Black people have exactly the same but I'd rather not be black. I'm not discussing my personal relationships I'm talking about what I posted above re men are not valued inherently as women are.

It’s not going to be a profound difference for a woman with an IQ of 110 to date a guy with an IQ of 102. Right but that guy is then probably not going to be in the top 20% of looks. As he's not top 3rd of intelligence he's also not likely to have a degree and she's likely going to be out earning him. So he's not going to be physically, economically or intellectually attractive to her as women like to date up.

How do they care about men? How does an average height, average weight, 100 iq 20 year old man get treated in comparison to an average height, average weight, 100 iq 20 year old woman? Exactly. They are extremely risk adverse and marriage and children are huge risks. Look at how people delt with covid. They are hyper risk averse and just want to take the easy path. Well the easy path is you live alone, you consume and you have meaningless relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 03:55 PM
2

Not the majority. I think by their 40s they'll see that kids are likely off the table and at that point what's the point in marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 03:52 PM
1

I completely agree with you but committed relationships and children are huge risks and people treat each other like commodities that can be thrown away when inconvenient. I understand why people have their guard up.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 03:41 PM
1

My point is that women don't need men for resources and security and men don't need women to look after them. The old benifits of a relationship where you split the chores isn't there any more as it's easy to do it all alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 03:19 PM

I'm not trying convince anyone of anything I'm simply saying in my opinion it looks like a great life. If you don't want to do it then I don't want you to bring children into the world with the way you view them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 03:17 PM
2

Risk. Marriage and children are the biggest risks most people are going to take and given the cynical view people have of relationships, marriage and children and how comfy people are in their lives as single people why roll the dice.

How is that different to the statement I'm making?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 01:33 PM

It's the commodification of relationships and people. People don't need each other any more so relationships only exist if they are convenient.

Then argue for fucking that. My wife doesn't want to work a 70 hour week. Instead of doing this. Trying to convince me that it's so fucking great. Go argue for yourself. I'm saying it's not as bad as you make out.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 01:30 PM

well banging someone is not a relationship so i don't really see how that's relevant to my statement that more women settle in terms of looks than men settle in terms of looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 01:29 PM

right but most men find most women attractive most women find most men unattractive. That means way more women are settling in terms of physical attractiveness than men.

and do you think the number of men not getting married by 40 is going to increase or decrease in the coming decades given what we can see with the trends at the moment in the west and the trend that are going on the korea and japan?

The ideal is that the wife stays home and you support her on a single income. Because staying at home is shitty. No i'd be more than happy to stay home and my wife work 70 hours a week. I can't wait to get home and spend time with my family. I think you're confusing some 1960s lifestyle where staying at home was hard. Now we have washers and dryers and dish washers and roombas and online shopping and banking and everything is automated. I'd have hated to be stuck at home with the kids in the 60s…

Work is awesome if compared to the alternative of the past. the alternative was a single income being able to support a family. All I'm saying is that there's a bunch of scientific literature on the paradox of female happiness that takes the studies that started in the 1970s. This is from feminist literature too. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2016/may/18/womens-rights-happiness-wellbeing-gender-gap here is it being reported in the guardian. I'm not entirely sure why women are less happy now than they were. Men's happiness was never that high to begin with maybe it turns out that work sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 12:36 PM

A lot of unhappiness is coming from work loads/unsatisfied with work over dating. So women are better off staying home with the kids than being unhappy at work?

Cool show me the stats. Look them up. Just did they're 0 percent of women in the 1970s where on any kind of medication they where all fit and mentally well and that's because they were married and had kids. Don't believe me well look it up. Oh, we have enough data. Then show me the data from the 70s that would have a statistical impact on overall happiness studies.

Wages would have dropped regardless of women joining the work force, because we live in a capitalistic society, without counter-measures. The opposite even, we have measures to ensure profit. Where else do you think that profit is going to come from? You pay people the least amount you can. If both people are working they need half the amount of money each for the same standard of living. I'm not saying marriage is the only cause. As you've said women entered the work place and we've seen a drop in wages which is un surprising when you double the work force and a more competitive environment which temperamentally women dislike. It seems like work making women unhappy is similar to saying marriage and raising children makes women happy. Do you have the stats on use of drugs on women in the early 1970s I thought that was a 50s thing. The life satisfaction show it to be way higher e…

I don't see how that proves men want bad relationships it simply shows they want relationships. If 42% of men want pizza and 29% of women want pizza that doesn't mean men want to eat pizza covered in dog shit.

okay well lets take jobs that people don't like doing. Most of these jobs are filled by men with families who are willing to do these jobs because it means his family lives a high quality of life and that makes him happy. If everyone is just single then who is going to do it when you can just get a nice low risk job because living alone is cheap.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:53 AM
1

I don't understand what you mean by that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:51 AM

It's not a matter of sex over porn it's a matter of dealing with a committed relationship and all the work and stress that entails or just living on your own. To me it's a pretty simple formula. a good relationship is better than a bad relationship and a bad relationship is any relationship worse than being single. If being single is comfy then why bother with the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:49 AM
1

I agree but then like I said we're back to the same question. What happens when people live lives like this. I'm not saying it's good or bad. I'm just interested to see how it all pans out.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:32 AM

There are studies on female life satisfaction and it's been dropping since the early 70's which is when they started asking.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:31 AM

I'm not so sure people do still like to live together. It's not the convenience it once was. Honestly I found it way easier living on my own than with my wife or any girlfriend and everyone I've ever spoken to (male or female) agrees. If I didn't want kids I would never have lived with anyone ever again.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:26 AM

well we have seen a massive drop in women's life satisfaction that correlates with the decline is marriage as well as I think 1 in 5 women on anti depressant medication. It doesn't look like it's all getting better.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:21 AM
1

I'm not saying it is. I'm saying that you'll see people not looking for as you call it "forever partners" so why move in, commit and no one is going to want kids with anyone they view as temporary until inconvenient. To me that's casual dating, That's what I was doing in my teens and 20s and while some relationships lasted a good while I never viewed them as anything serious.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:16 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:10 AM

I think commitment gets worse as you get older as why commit. I moved from the city to a semi rural area and got married because we wanted to have a family. That becomes less and less likely as you get older. I wouldn't be living where am am if it wasn't for wanting a family.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:08 AM
1

i'm not saying they won't date as I said. To me it's points to a life of on/off casual dating with little to no commitment. The question is if all these people in their 50s you know have no problems dating then why are they still dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 10:04 AM
0

Right and they're going to find the exact same issues. Not only that but children is likely going to be out of the window and thus so is marriage and given they're so used to living alone so is co-habitation. To me it's points to a life of on/off casual dating with little to no commitment. I view commitment and kids as a huge gamble. They're either going to be great or terrible. However the middle is just that it's not great and it's not awful either. It's simply easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 09:47 AM
3

The question becomes what happens when the people who wouldn't give up what they had for an imperfect person because they loved single life in their 20s-30s are no longer enjoying single life in their 40s and 50s? I loved being single and having my city centre apartment in my 20s but the idea of doing that when I'm 50 seems crazy to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 09:38 AM
5

I'm not arguing that there is anything wrong with it. What It looks like is maximising freedom of choice means people choose to stay alone. There's a lot of discussion in terms of how women don't need men any more because they have their own jobs and life is pretty safe. I think they're very little discussion on how men don't need women any more because modern tech, social media, the internet, porn etc etc has made living alone easier than living with a wife/girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 09:34 AM

first gen are poor so women won't marry them. Second/third gen will have the exact same issues and if they are more trad they'll date within their community. To me the issue is simple. Women want to date the most attractive guys when they're younger and we have an extended adolescence in the west. That means most guys are ignored and are just not interested in killing themselves for a date. Women will have to deal with cats and they won't drop their standards and men will have to cope with xbox …

Yes. The short story is the the women want to work and date attractive guys then when they settle down they want "company men" these are guys who work crazy hours as they're the only ones who can support a family on a single income. The men are looking at their fathers who are worked to death and never get to enjoy their family and are choosing to work 30-40 hour weeks and simply be consumers and live alone. /r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 08:57 AM

Then you also can't blame men for refusing to commit. This complete lack of parity between the sexes is just leading to an ever increasing divide. What we're seeing is men understanding that there are 2 types of guys; eligible and ineligible. The eligible see no reason to commit because they know the game is rigged and they have options and the ineligible realise the game is rigged so don't engage. The west will be just like Japan and South Korea in a decade.

Getting married is a huge risk and having children is an even bigger risk. I prefer life with my family than I did living on my own in a city apartment and I enjoyed living on my own in a city apartment. For some people family life is worse so they break up and they are way worse off than when they started. You need to look at the situation that you're in and decide what is best for you. I don't think you understand what grooming is. Like I said as long as he's transparent with them I don't see any issues. If he's lying to them then that's wrong. I find it unlikely that he would lie because he doesn't need to as there's no shortage of women who would like a casual relationship with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/22 09:13 AM

You seem to think this is a shelf life issue rather than a values issue. Maybe they simply want different things when they are in their mid 20s than they do in their early 20s.

What I expect from a star like him is to put everything into his craft and if that means forgoing serious relationships then that's OK. He's under no obligation to have serious relationships and as long as he's transparent with the woman I don't see the issue. Do you not believe these women are able to make decisions for themselves?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/22 08:36 AM

I don't think it's about tits. I think it's a matter that women under 25 have a different mentally about relationships than women over 25. If he's looking for casual relationships where he can come and go as he likes while he films, travels does his environmental work then that's okay. I have a wife and kids and a dog and that's what I see as valuable but no one has to agree with me on that. /r/PurplePillDebate31/08/22 08:05 AM

Maybe they simply want different things. Women over 25 are probably going to want to start a life that's not just hanging out with Leo when he's free. It seems Leo wants casual relationships and the best way to achieve that is to date women who also want casual relationships.

I don't think politicians are generally considered high value as partners I'd say AOC is more like an influencer than a politician. Either way shes certainly considered high value. movie stars' husbands are considered high value. I couldn't name a single movie stars husband who's not famous in his own right. Can you tell me some examples? If lots of people fucked you then left you're obviously not good enough for them to stay with. You're assuming it's the women that didn't want to commit rather…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 10:39 AM

Men control commitment women control sex. A guy who has a lot of women who want to have sex with him is high value. I don't think men look at AOCs boyfriend and think "oh that guy has high market value" I think they look at him and think "That guy's her bitch" despite her being a high value woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 10:23 AM

same reason a woman's success is judged by the ability to secure high value men. It shows that you have high sexual market value.

The 2 reasons why you're single when you don't want to be as a guy are. You're not making an effort to meet women You're a mess, so it doesn't matter how many women you talk to they're not going to date you. It's not bad advise to tell guys to work on problem number 2 if they're failing with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 01:08 PM

I think a lot of men would absolutely never want the ability to get pregnant and go through childbirth Sure and same with a lot of women. What all men would like though is the option. Not having the option is what I'm telling you sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 09:52 AM
5

Why. You're complaining about the ability to have children to men who have no such ability and would love to have it. Yes you're worse off than the guys who women long to have children with but that's not most men. This is the same issue we see IN PPD with dating. Women compare their struggles dating with the men they date, the issue is that the vast majority of men are the men they don't date who women simply don't see.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 09:43 AM
5

I don't disagree with anything you've said there. My point is that you are comparing sexually and relationship successful men to all women. It's better to be a man who women would love to have children with than a woman but it's better to be a woman than a man who women are ambivalent or uninterested in having children with which is the majority of men. If you're a guy who's simply middle of the road who women aren't interested in then you are very likely to never be able to have children and as…

I hated that I was the only partner who could carry and birth a child and the toll it took on my body and career The issue I take with this statement is while you are correct that vs the man your having a child with you are worse off you are not worse off than men as a whole. The ability to have children is something men don't have and it's not easy to convince a women to have your child.

The issue with online dating for women is that they are overwhelmed by their dating options so they have to narrow it down. Things like height, wealth, education and fitness are easy ways to drop your matches down from an unmanageable 1000 to a manageable 50. The issue is that every other woman on the platform has narrowed by the exact same criteria so they guy your matching with has loads of matches so can treat you as disposable meaning you have a terrible time dating.

incompatible libidos are a valid reason to break up with someone, in fact any reason is a valid reason to break up with someone. "If you don't do X I'll break up with you" is a pretty terrible threat because the response by any reasonable person should be to say "OK let's break up" I certainly don't view it as being forced to do something which means it's not coercion.

Their veiled threats to ditch them if they didn't put out. Sex isn't empowering when it's coerced. I feel like we all agree that lack of sex is a perfectly good reason to break up with someone and no only that but there's no wrong reason to break up with someone. I don't see how saying to a girl you're seeing "Sex is important to me and so if you don't want to that's fine but I'm going to have to break up with you as we're clearly incompatible" Is coercion. I took a 6 weeks off work and did it and it was absolutely great. Hanging out with your kid all day is not a chore. If I could be a stay at home dad I'd absolutely love it. I'm not saying it's not challenging, he just walked in and turned the washer off with 10 mins left on the cycle so I have to restart it and need those clothes for tomorrow (it's 7pm here) but the idea it's more difficult than my job (and I have a pretty chill job) is crazy. The idea that looking after a kid is as hard as work and is a 24/7 job is ridiculous. We have a toddler and he's a joy. If you think hanging out at the park, watching bluey, and playing with blocks is the equivalent of dealing with the stresses of work you're out of your mind.

I don't disagree with this my issue is that you're acting like it's lazy to not do house work if you are the bread winner and I disagree. The negotiation as I see it is that you both put in the same amount of work. If the partner staying home is doing 8 hours of house work and the person with a job does 8 hours of work that's not the person going to work being lazy. Correct me if I'm wrong here but as I understand it married women in Japan are expected to give up work and be house wives so are only willing to marry men who can provide them with a comfortable living standard. The only men who can provide a comfortable living standard are men who are willing to work 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Some people who are highly educated make large amounts of money if they pick a good field and manage to specialise in something that is scarce. The reality for most highly educated people is they end up not using their education. Go look up elite overproduction. I work at a university and see PhD students all the time. Very few end up staying in the field. The vast majority of people who make a lot of money are people who work long hours in skilled jobs.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 07:47 AM

No it's showing that married men make more than married women. Women actually out earn men under 30 and never married women out earn never married men. What it shows is that men marry women who make less money than them. Being a high earning woman decreases your dating pool. Being a high earning man increases your dating pool.

I ask bc it means all the men in my life (friends, best friends, friends of friends) are above average bc they’ve never struggled with dating to the extent the men of this subreddit dictate the average man does. Fuck, a majority of them have never even touched a dating app. Am I really that much of a statistical anomaly? If men could be fucking they would be so the answer is YES YOU ARE …

Incorrect. Men value class, status, education, and success. What they don't value is a career that takes up all her time or how much she makes. The vast majority of people date and marry within their socal class. Being a high status woman gives you much better access to higher status men. You seem to just be saying what he's saying but not looking at the inverse. Both sexes don't need each other in the ways they used to. Relationships often now feel like more effort than they are worth as we don't need each other. The men who can capitalise on this will be highly desirable and thus will refuse to settle down. The men who can't will check out and become even less datable. Women will have the choice between fuck bois, undatable losers and staying single.

I think we have quite a different view on what constitutes middle age. I veiw young adult as late teen/early 20s. My issue with the former is you're telling 19 year old men that if you work really hard and get a good job then when you're 30 you'll maybe have a shot at getting laid. When young men hear this they'll most likely just take the L, smoke weed and play videogames.

Why are you open to it if you don't desire it? To me that sounds like a total cope. Look if you have some amazing career and life style that's not going to be effected by age then I get it but that's an incredibly small percentage of the population. The reality for most people who stay single is a pretty bleek outlook on the second half of your life. Most modern women are perfectly fine/content with being single (in the context of LTRs and marriages) if there aren't sufficient quantities of quality men... Maybe in their 20s but not so much when they are in their 30s and 40s.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 06:14 AM

This is going to be a real issue soon. If you look who does the "dirty jobs" it's almost entirely men and they almost entirely do it to make enough money to support their families. If men and women continue to separate then men will continue to choose comfortable jobs because there's no point in risking your health for money you don't need.

No one in Ireland was either. It's called outcomes of laws. That's what happened to those women. Savita was one of them, that's why the law was challenged in Ireland and struck down. Because these women were dying because of doctors who would not perform the procedure on them. Wasn't that case medical malpractice rather than a problem with the laws? There's the issue here that a large number of 16 and 17 year olds are trying to attract men around their own age and do so by dressing provocatively. I don't think old men should be creeping on young girls but you also have to accept that if you attempt to illicit a sexual desire response from men that you are casting a wide net and you may not like what you end up catching.

women control sex and men control commitment and their resources. It's creating a false legal relationship. A father has legal financial duties to his child I.E. Child support given to the mother. If someone hacked into the wedding registry and made it so someone was their husband/wife so they could divorce them and take half their stuff it would be a crime.

Can we also agree that if you are listed as the father you have a legal requirement to give the woman money thus securing unfair gain? If This is true (an…

Putting her to jail would inflict the risk of the kid getting into the system. So mothers shouldn't be punished for crimes?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 12:49 PM

Right but by saying "You're the father" when there's a 1 in 50 chance you're clearly being dishonest. Fuck whoever you want just don't try and deceive men. I'd assume him buying shit for her/the baby or even marrying her. There's a good reason women lie about who the father is.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 12:47 PM
3

If you fuck 50 guys and find you're pregnant and you only tell one guy that it's his baby when you have no idea that's clearly deceptive. You should say "It might be yours" by stating "You're the father" it's intentional deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 12:35 PM

If the child is proven not to be yours, that's evidence. babies with mixed up paperwork could still be yours but that doesn't change the fact that they should make sure they are after they knew they mixed up the paperwork. You don't just not says something and hope you get away with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 12:27 PM

Because you seem to be acting like it's not really a big deal and I'm wondering if it's because you can't see why it is? The point of the thread seems to be that maybe like a hospital is punished a woman should be punished too. If she's fucking other people when she got pregnant and doesn't inform you of that then that's like mixing up a bunch of babies paperwork and just being like "hey This is your kid" while knowing it could be any number of different children.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 12:12 PM

If hospitals were mixing up between 0.8 per cent to 30 per cent of babies would you feel the same way?

I agree with you about this when people talk about financial abortion of their children but no man should have any obligation to pay for a child just because a woman says she wants you to.

I respect that and as I can't imagine anything worse for a child than being raised by someone who calls them crotch goblins I hope you do the right thing and get the snip. My issue with being childfree is it assumes that having extra cash in the bank is better than the strongest most meaningful relationship you'll ever have. I simply can't imagine thinking I'd rather have a couple of hundred dollars extra a month than my kid. I think once people are in their 30s and 40s and money isn't much of a…

I'm suggesting that historical oppression isn't relevant to modern life. We were all serfs 300 years ago. Well we can politely disagree on who was or was not a good political candidate but I think most reasonable people would agree both hillary and trump were fucking terrible. I don't think all childfree people are going to be regretful. What I think is that people often do have a myopic view about their futures. It's easy to think what makes you happy now will continue to make you happy in the future. I'd also say I think mid 40s is where people who perhaps should have had children will start to regret it as your lifestyle is going to begin to change in the second half of your life. how they view women having jobs, careers and their own incomes. I view it as a positive. What I see as a negative is the attitude that working for a company is some how better or more valuable than having a family. I'm not sure they deny the 80/20 rule, I think they say that it only applies to physical attraction and there's more to female attraction than that. Not wanting a relationship on a man's terms is perfectly reasonable. Being a simp isn't a fun experience for either gender and you're better off alone. I feel bad for women's dating problems. Women can't help that they're not attracted to the vast majority of men, especially young men who have no money or status. This means the small percentage of men they are attracted to are the same small percentage of men all women are attracted to. This means that they're either going to have no relationship or a relationship entirely on the mans terms. There were The Iroquois. They're an interesting study in politics as men tend to run things based on competing ideas where they ran things based on consensus of ideas. In other words if they believed it to be true then it was true (think 1984). To me this shows why we don't see matriarchal societies because reality doesn't care about your consensus or attempt to make the group happy. Women it seems would rather live in a society of feels over reals even if that means the society doesn't work.

That's incorrect. Peoples aptitude or intelligence as "G" is what defines if they are good or bad at mental tasks. It doesn't matter how good your teacher is some people will never be able to be even mediocre. Every boy wants to be funny but most aren't. It's just a talent some people have.

I'd be very surprised if you could find anyone who went from blue pill to black pill by listening to JP in fact I'd say you'd find the exact opposite happening. I think most people attracted to JP are depressed men who have given up and are black pilled on life in a very nihilistic sense. They come out of that and become blue pilled because of JP and believe that if they just work hard life will be great.

You know the red pill hate him right? He's super pro marriage, commitment, hates any form of "plate spinning" and as the video I posted shows he thinks that if women don't like you it's your fault and you need to fix yourself. By black pill I assume you mean lookism? Again he doesn't argue for that he says that women are attracted to responsible men and to work on yourself and not worry about black pill science. Clean you room means if your life is a mess to concentrate on the parts you can cont…

I don't follow that mixed metaphor at all. The horse to water metaphor is saying you can show people the path to success but you can't make them take it. What's JP doing? drowning them in the path?

You can be imprisoned in canada and the uk. I've listening to him quite a lot and the closest thing I can think of to what you're saying was him talking about how people use this as some form of performance and he wouldn't engage with them but that he'd never come across that in his personal or professional life. I think JP has a lot of flawed arguments but a lot of what published about him is just hyperbole. I think the closest thing he is to "red pilling" is how much he's redpilled people on t…

Are you referring to him not agreeing with that being a law? He's stated multiple times that when ever a student has asked him to use different pronouns that he's been happy to oblige, he's simply not willing to accept that the law should have anything to do with compelling people to do so under threat of imprisonment.

I think most people who hate JP are basing their opinion on things they're read he's said rather than listing to his actual discussions. He's really moderate and liberal on almost everything.

I base it over a few numbers. Japan and Korea who are slightly ahead of the west on this have this number and if you look at rates of sexlessness in the west skyrocketing, drop off in marriage rates and university graduates being majority Virgins. I'm a man in my mid 30s and you're right about my generation. We didn't grow up with Internet dating, our general dating outlook was broadly positive. I'm not talking about us I'm talking about the men who in their 20s and grew up much more Internet na…

I'm not sure about this. Women aren't just going to accept men that are lower status they they are and give up on hypergamy just because they're 40. I think these 2 articles are pretty good. https://quillette.com/2021/06/28/mate-selection-for-modernity/ https://abc7.com/cornell-university-researchers-blame-the-decline-of-us-marriages-on-a-shortage-economically-attractive-men-for-unmarried-women-to-marry/5528921/

Not talking about incels - talking the guys who are 4s - 6s (huge % of the population). There are plenty of guys who are below 8s making big money - programming, engineering, medical, you name it. Not having a woman doesn't mean you might as well be homeless You can't have a system where women are only dating the top 20% of men until they're 40 and not accept that's going to mean a huge % of the population is going to be incel (i don't mean the guys who post on incel forums). I'm not saying they…

"I need a stable guy who won't cheat on me so I can have a well-adjusted child" incels are not stable people. They're also unlikely to be earning much money, not because they're unintelligent but what's the point in money when you live alone? Male thirst is insane. Imagine going through your 20s, 30s, never getting any action despite trying so hard, then suddenly at 40 you have women hitting you up. You know you're getting washed up pussy, but the alternative is dying without ever experiencing h…

I don't see how that adds up with the level of incels this is creating (approx. 25% of men). They're not going to want to marry these guys and so many men understand that it's not worth working yourself to death until your mid 30s in the hope of getting a crumb of pussy. I think the billy beta train is over.

This makes me think of the /antiwork sub. If a high school dropout with 0 work experience who thinks "It's not worth working for less than 100k a year because that's the only amount of money I consider worth working for" Then they are delusional. The issue is that 80% of women want 20% of the men and that means 60% of women are going to be shit out of luck (at least in terms of commitment).

My experience of dating and being tall (just over 6'4) is that a minority of girls will be into you but most girls don't really care. Is it easier to date as a tall man? Yeah, you just go after the girls who show an interest in you.

I hate FDS but it's good to know your opponents argument at least as well as they do. So what are they right about? They're right that women don't need men for money. Women have their own money so if all your bringing to the relationship is your income and you expect her to do all the typically female chores then that's not a good exchange. They're right in not being a simp or a pickme. Fucking a guy is not going to get you commitment just like giving a women free shit is not going to get her to…

If you're matching with these guys then so are loads of other women. You asking "why do men with loads of options make so many demands?" The answer is because they have options. If you want men who are nicer match with less attractive men.

Because so many are part of FDS. Half of conversations I have on here end up being with an FDS poster. The topics I tend to join in with are about men and women having different problems. The shitty people on here love to act like the opposite sex has no problems while their sex is under the boot their entire lives.

I'm saying that it's nice to have the option. That's it the option. I don't have that belief. It doesn't make sense because if they did then stright people would be having the same amount of casual sex as gay men. Sorry its early here. That's still not a huge swing.

61 vs 62 percent is negligible and a one night stand not being as enjoyable as you hoped is not a gendered issue. I don't like one night stands because I never found them enjoyable. I'm still happy that when I wanted a one night stand I could have one which is not the case for the vast majority of of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/22 07:25 AM

What this looks like to me is that casual sex is often enjoyable for women and that's why they engage. It's simply a matter of selecting the right men.

There is no evidence for the statement that the majority of women like casual sex. There is, however, evidence for the statement that women do not orgasm nearly at the same rate as men in heterosexual encounters. And that's evidence they take no joy in them? So, men who like casual sex wish they had the problem that women who like casual sex have. I’ll agree with that, but it’s a very narrow statement given the size of the group of women. What percentage of women have ever had casual sex? The ri…

I don't think it works this way here. You divide both community property and debts. The issue is that the wife and children will not be forced from their home as they have friends/school etc so there's no selling. People who are into traditional gender roles still can pursue them. Nothing really stops them besides financial risks and these can be negotiated with prenups. Prenups are meaningless for most people as they're for what you had going into the marriage not what you accrued during it. bu…

It's the same in the UK but you can't sell the house from under her and you continue to be obligated to pay the mortgage. This effectively ruins you. Well, it seems that egalitarian format is safer for both partners. Neither risks losing half of what they got while their partner was sitting at home and neither risks getting divorced and having no proper work experience. It does but it comes with its own set of problems. A lot of men are happy to take on extra work to provide and a lot of women a…

Those women are probably the ones that are getting something out of it; every study conducted on this topic proves the orgasm gap so it’s not my opinion that women are leaving the majority of sexual encounters unfulfilled. I understand that the majority of women who like casual sex are the women who like casual sex. The issue is that men who like casual sex don't have the option while women do. Like I said "problems men wish they had." A starving person would accept a meal they wouldn’t pick out…

Kids are when it becomes really apparent. I don't see the reason for marriage without kids so I always look at marriages as with children. A bread winner situation makes no sense without kids as looking after a house without kids isn't work but looking after children is a full time job. I think a lot of trad relationships are a women earning 40k marries a guy earning 70k both doing a 40 hour week. They have a kid and the decide he can work an extra 20 hours and she can stay home and they'll have…

Sure, but there's a middle ground to be had there. Men aren't going to get married into traditional breadwinner/care giver relationships with the no fault divorce system as means they lose everything even if they do nothing wrong. You can do what you and I have done and get into egalitarian relationships but in many ways all that means is that you're forced to stay together because neither of you can afford a divorce without a massive drop in living standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 08:43 AM

Sure it is. Men's looks remain stable but as men's status increases over all attractiveness increases.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 07:51 AM

Well a 70% divorce rate obviously isn't great. We've talked about this before and I think we agreed that the issue is creating a system where both sexes want to be in a relationship. The issue at the moment in the west is that's not true for a lot of people. Also you pointed out that it's even worse in Korea.
