This is why I particularly object to slut shaming, as it is a hangover from that old world, and its dated and completely irrational notions of propriety and self-denial. Lets say there's a decent looking prostitute or just a promiscuous woman in your town and she keeps even just two men romantically (or sexually) occupied. If each man can only have one woman (his wife), by the pigeon hole principle, there exists a woman for every man.
