The problem with child support is it is awarded by the court based on your earnings not what the child actually need. If you earn 10 million you will possible pay half a million in child supoort and thus money of cause will not all go to the child but rather to the mother . That is the pain of it. Effectively you are paying alimony via child support. The law should be changed so that you pay the child bills instead such as food, education, healthcare and so on. That would be fair me think
