I guess I see it not as paying someone else's mortgage, but simply paying for somewhere to live. When I buy groceries, I don't see it as paying for the store's utility bills or distribution costs, but just paying for food that I can eat so I can live. I pay rent so that I have a place to stay, without the headache or responsibility of dealing with property damage, maintenance and repairs, bad neighbors that I can't easily move away from, a fluctuating and fickle housing market that could devalue…

I think home ownership used to be a worthwhile investment. There are pros and cons to buying and renting, but considering the housing market already crashed (in the U.S.) over 10 years ago and we're in another bubble now as prices go up, I don't see how buying a house is a sound investment, especially if you don't want one. Some people just don't want to deal with the headaches that come with owning, especially single guys that don't need a lot of space. I'd rather put the money I'd spend on the…

There's something so genuine and pure about this. You'd think he was a puppy with that prancing he does! Please, enjoy this time with Riley while you can, brother. My childhood dog that I grew up with died in 2018 just before his 15th birthday. I would do damn near anything to see him again. I think about him everyday. He was with me through it all. Heartbreak, depression, loss of friends, and all the good times too. He was there through it all, the one constant I could rely on to make me crack …

From my understanding, actual brand/manufacturer is most important when it comes to quality, not necessarily individual razor. Anything from Muhle is great, but I personally own a Parker- short handle, double sided, stainless steel razor (I forget the model number). Honestly, just go on Muhle's or Parker's website to browse more affordable/mid-range stuff to start. Can't go wrong. Edit: Go on over to r/wicked_edge for more info

Guys, just get a single blade safety razor for like $30. Spend pocket change on blades and have something that will last you your whole life. Stop throwing your money away while throwing more plastic into a landfill. Smoothest shave I ever had with almost zero irritation came from my safety razor.

Marriage is like a carnival game. In the back of your head you know it's rigged, yet you keep putting money down. The prize is something cheap and forgettable you paid 10x it's worth for, and once you get it in your hands, you wonder why you wanted it so bad in the first place.

Living very simply and choosing to keep your obligations to a minimum are big parts of it. Creating boundaries with your social group and being sure to always set time aside for yourself. Learning to create good habits and need little, which allows you to quickly appreciate the small things and the daily, simple pleasures you might give yourself (this might involve soaking your feet after work, making an elaborate dinner, taking time to do something purely unproductive but fun). The biggest red pill of all is accepting that no one is on your side. Your coworkers, your cool boss, government, society as a whole- they do not really care about you if it means putting their neck on the line. You are, for the most part, alone in this world, unless you have genuinely supportive friends and family. Learn to develop self-care skills and you won't really have to rely on anyone.

If that's the case then I've been sexually assaulted multiple times by women throughout my life. I've had tattoos touched, my arms grabbed, and a supervisor even combed her fingers through my hair during work and said I was hot. It's only assault if a man does it.

Because the media won't report on their Democratic darlings for fear of ruining their little agenda. I've know about the kids for a little while, no one will listen. I tell people in person and they act shocked, shrug their shoulders, and move on because they'd rather have any Dem in office since Trump and all Republicans are, like, literally Hitler. Notice how she didn't "get anything" out of the relationship. "Anything" being defined as kids and money. Never mind the memories, the jokes, events, date nights, sex, shoulder to cry on, and whatever else comes with the territory in a "healthy" relationship before they start to hate each other. Because all that really matters to her, after their 10 year relationship, is that he didn't give her money or kids.

A lot of guys have a great bullshit-meter and don't put up with it, but not every guy understands what these chats always lead to: passive aggressive name calling. I get what you're trying to say, which is that women can genuinely enjoy things like traveling and yoga and have a real curiosity about things. I know there's certain places I'd like to go to and explore. The issue is that these women follow a cookie cutter approach to these activities, to the point that they all mimic each other in an attempt to feel "different", or convey to the world through social media that they don't have a normal lifestyle. They pursue these activities in an attempt to ge…

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times. We are reaching the fourth stage, although some would argue that we're already there. When women no longer control men legally, socially, and economically, the cycle will shift. Of course, the cycle never ends, and history will repeat itself as it always does, since biology typically trumps sense and reason. The only way the shift begins, is by men saying enough. And that's why we …

Humiliation makes a man humble. To reflect and realize how utterly wrong you were changes you in a volatile way. Every man in here who truly subscribes to the idea of owning your own path has gone through a similar rebirth. It's very powerful.

Back when Moviepass was a thing, I saw a movie by myself at least once a week, whether it was opening night or a matinee on a Tuesday. It was refreshing being able to go whenever I wanted, see whatever I wanted, not share any snacks or drinks, and just chill. When I was doing research, I guess that was a downside for me with AKs: if you don't know what you're doing or what to look for, you could buy a piece of shit or something that isn't totally up to spec. Things like canted irons and reliability issues in some American made stuff can get sketchy. But if you get a good one, it's indestructible. Thanks for the tip.

I'm not sure I could ever give up my moral compass or ethical code in order to align myself with the rules of some societal game. Sure, no one really cares about men. But I'll choose to be virtuous in the face of that because I can't let this fucked up society control me or my mindset in life. To directly counter your argument, I'd say being a man of strong principle in a world of shit, simply for your own mental health and well being, makes you a pillar of stone.

More and more, I've seen this place go from somewhere that men can enjoy their freedom in bachelorhood and understanding that society is gynocentric to a place that loathes women simply for being women.

I don't think that every single woman on the planet has zero value simply because she has a vagina. Just like how every man isn't a rapist, misogynist demon simply because he has a penis. Thinking women aren't worth your time and hating them aren't mutually exclusive.

It also involves being creative and adding your own signature to a dish. A lot of very unique and original recipes involve trial and error, and experimentation. You mix different spices in different quantities and see what stands out. On one hand, stifling technological innovation in order to "save the jerbs" is backwards, fear-based thinking and will prevent humanity from moving forward. After all, working to live sucks and nobody likes feeling like they've been pushed into a corner by the structure of society where they have to spend half their lives doing something they probably loathe. I would say it depends entirely on your union and the state you live in. For me, it takes a year or so of schooling to get your resume sent out to potential employers by the union, and you just have to hope that someone picks you up. Once you get a successful interview, you start your apprenticeship, which pays but not very well (here it's usually $14/hr or so, but every job site is different). Good thing about "ghosting in plain sight" (as DDJ calls it) in the workplace is that your behavior is exactly the same before and after #metoo culture. In one breath, it's toxic masculinity. In the next, it's derision towards effeminized men. Hey, as gross as this is, these are the chicks that end up as pump and dumps. So for those of you who aren't monks, be grateful for chicks like this. As for me, whores like this are why I'm monk in the first place. I couldn't even enjoy myself because all I'd be thinking about is super AIDS or the three condoms magically breaking.

The rotten branch collapses under her weight, and as she's falling, she screams "Save me BetaBux™!" The smart ones stay up in their roost with all their bananas. And the rest scramble down after her, crushing each other in the process.

I personally disagree, but this all comes down to subjective definition. Depending on circumstance, mentality, and hardship, I could consider a young teenager a man if he's had to endure tragedy with resolve or persevere through extreme struggle. If a 15 year old survived a month in the woods alone, he's a man.

For me, that depends entirely on the context and how much I know. I've never been in this situation, but if she was in a relationship and I didn't know, I'd tell the guy no questions asked. If she's an ex and only fucked me after the breakup, I wouldn't care. If he's a beta orbiter and she was on the CC, I'd copy his number and text him anonymously without a shadow of a doubt, simply because I was an orbiter for a long time and didn't know about this bitch's manipulation and whorishness until th…

I have done so a handful of times. Some can agree that marriage is a trap. Some just agree to disagree, but appreciate the perspective. I guess it all depends on how well you know the person. I agree that diversification is important. Never put all your eggs in one basket. I'm just not about to buy a BC for $4000 only to have it drop to $400 next year. I think exposing yourself to uncomfortable things gradually and intermittently develops a solid mental fortitude and a better endurance to life's inevitable uncomfortable times. For example, sparring and getting used to getting punched in the face builds an immunity to the initial shock of being hit. Sure, the first time you get punched in the face, you'll probably feel like giving up or crying, but after a year of fights you can't wait to get in the ring. Working out is difficult and uncomforta…

MGTOW is the only position that logical and rational people can adopt. When men with self awareness and perspective look at the bigger picture, the odds stacked against them, the hand that they've been dealt in life, there is no choice. Even if their biology screams to follow desire, even if their instinct wants nothing more than the release of those pleasure chemicals and love hormones, the decision is almost involuntary. How can a man with any self respect sign on the dotted line that sells th…

Universities and their professors typically have a left-leaning bias, which translates into dictatorial, SJW-pandering guidelines whereby anyone who isn't a feminist is censored. Not to mention the raw economics of attaining a degree in a field that may or may not pay off with a stable career. The cost of classes, books, and campus resources is artificially inflated, and if you're not rich or haven't saved prior to college, you will probably graduate (or not) with a heap of debt that will act as…

At the end of the day, the core of MGTOW is the general acknowledgement that women can be poisonous creatures. Their behavior is predictable, the dating game is shit, women are self centered and don't actually love you, etc. As a MGHOW, there's some general principles you live by, the most important being that you learn to live comfortably on your own, whether physically or spiritually, and forge your own identity and path in life without women. For me, a large part of being MGTOW is accepting myself and rejecting those who would call me fake. MGTOW literally means Men Going Their Own Way. It doesn't mean men going your way. People in this sub will disagree with each other, and they should, because it's important to challenge each other. Some men in here hate women, and some are still struggling to throw up the blue pill. That's fine by me, because we're all on different stages of personal development. Pretty much every slut I've known has expressed either guilt, shame, or feelings of worthlessness, or all of the above. Some repeat the cycle for a while, thinking this next guy is truly the one omg, usually says she's in love three weeks later, gets used and goes to the next one until her looks start fading and the attention wanes. Eventually, she settles down for a nice guy who's 5 to 10 years older than her with a solid career and plenty of opportunity.

I would have to agree to an extent. I've never been really interested in a lavish or extravagant lifestyle. I've always been frugal, and I appreciate simplicity. Yet, now that I'm trying to adult, I want to plan for my inevitable future without a family or children to take care of me. Feminism has made some women feel like: A. They're better than men. B. They deserve more from society while doing less. C. That men are disposable. There are many other side effects I could list, but this kind of female dogma is one of the causes for such a polarizing atmosphere between men and women. Some women feel entitled to what men have to offer, and they think they have more worth or value than they actually do. But once again, to me, this is a specific type of woman, albeit a rather sign…

I get it. The "Red Pill Rage" and all that. I just hope men stick to reason and logic and don't go down the path of ideology worship. Something to note is that women will aggressively mold a man into what she sees as "ideal". So she'll go for the attractive guy, and either over time or once they share a living space she'll imprint her desires onto him - he needs to be more caring, spend more time with her, hate what or who she hates, be interested in whatever she is (although he's obviously not) and spend money on it, get a certain haircut, get a tan, not drink as much, etc. Only a weaker man with low self esteem will do this,…
