Internet would be an amazing example of information parallelization and with that a major improvement for humanity. But looking at its current effect on people, the opposite becomes true. Social media is a cancer on society and the internet in general is used to keep people hooked and overstimulated. The internet has become a powerful weapon to aid those in power enslave their people.
