Tbh, isn't it like affirmative action? Women haven't been in the workplace very long and are still working into roles like IT, and need to be considered even if they're slightly less qualified. Otherwise women aren't going to be able to get experience in these roles. And I'll explain why. Source - I am one. I work in a group of 9 others, all men. We're getting better as a society but women are in the workplace right now who were discriminated against when getting an education because of stereoty…

Uh... Because someone saying "I'm not racist" or "I'm for race equality" is going against the literal definition of the KKK (white supremacy != racial equality...) in the same way that someone says "I hate men" is going against the literal definition of feminism (equality)?

Because the most extreme publications are the ones most likely to be written in the first place, and shared? That's the nature of news/articles/etc. Most of us are living quiet lives and trying to be kind to everyone and treat everyone fairly in our own small corners of the world. I don't keep a blog about trying to live a normal quiet life. And it probably wouldn't be read anyway.

(1) Why am I'm responsible for the actions of all other women? I aim to treat everyone fairly. It's common sense and a lot of others around me do the same. (2) > statistically, actions do not match words where women are concerned Do you happen to have these statistics? I'd love to see them.

I'd like to discuss your grievances with the post though, it seems an interesting thing to discuss. Because people being discriminatory and giving women preferential treatment and calling it feminism isn't feminism. Just like people being misogynistic and calling it men's rights. Feminism, and men's rights, are both about equality for all, we're just pushing towards that center from different sides. But we still want to reach that center. Also I'm a little tired of coming in here and being calle…

If you're a feminist then you're a bigot. And you're an asshole if you think that. Not because you're a man. Because I'm a feminist and I'm on your guys' side, but you label me as a bigot because of other assholes discriminating against men under the guise of deminism. I do think men get unfairly screwed over with things like parental custody. Seriously, I'm on your side. Feminism means equality. For men too. For everyone.

Can you stop? This is not feminism, this is people being stupid and calling it feminism. It's not feminism. Just like I don't call you all redpillers because a small subset of mensrights is. A subset of women think that feminism means preferential treatment. The vast majority of us don't.

Dudes. Cool it. This is not feminist. This is some women being douchy and calling it feminism. That's not real feminism, which is about equality. Most of us women believe in equality and think this inherently unequal stuff is indeed douchy. Stop saying this is feminism. It's not.

Eh can we just go back to calling these sorts of people pricks and not worry about exactly what -ist categories they're falling into?

How is it sexist? Scottie is a male name. It's classist.

I can imagine the Twitter/Facebook rant that's going to come from this. "Omg I was assaulted today, I had to call the cops!"

Why do you generalize this to all women when you only have a few examples?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
