But don't you see the inherent hypocrisy in you, a man, telling your girlfriend how to feel about the movement based around liberating her?? All these extraneous principles you are adding to an ideology, e.g. "These current feminists don't want equality. They want revenge." don't actually define the ideology just because you say them! For your girlfriend, feminism has literally given her dozens of rights she otherwise wouldn't have today. Don't you think it is insanely self-centred and obviously sexist to think you can tell her how to use the word, because of how it has affected men rather than women? You don't get to choose how she thinks and what words she uses. That is the point of the whole movement

Why is your definition that 'feminists only hurt men and help women" any more valid than whatever she believes? You are totally ignoring her own experience or view and you come across as really condescending towards her. Tbh the whole thing reads "my girlfriend finally accepted the point of view I shoved down her throat, and now I'm happy"

Why is it your place to define what feminism is to a woman? The attitude that a man has to explain the 'right' way to think to a woman is in and of itself sexist
