I guess. After all this time I still don’t know how reddit works very well. Not sure how it would be targeted harassment against her though. Feels a little more like some of the responses are targeted at me. But I went into this knowing exactly what would happen.

Im not sure what you mean. Maybe you didn’t read my follow up post where I acknowledged Im an idiot. And I obviously ignored every red flag imaginable.

I would like to know how posting anonymously on reddit is dragging our kids in the middle of anything.

I get that it’s not cancer. But genital warts maybe popping up for the rest of your life still seems pretty bad to me. Like something you should probably tell someone about before you have sex with them. And as far as bashing your ex in front of your kids I don’t really count posting on reddit as doing that. It’s supposed to be anonymous.

I left her. And Ive been trying to get away from her since the relationship started. Just kept getting sucked deeper and deeper in. Guess Ive been in denial for about 17 years.

No no. It was hpv. That she got from a toilet seat. Or a handshake when she was 43. Or it was the not so bad kind of herpes that she got when she was five. Or hpv from back then. Or whatever.

Thanks for the replies. Forgot to add Im a fucking idiot. And fuck her in her herpes covered ass. She’s also already read this and is using it to further turn my daughter’s against me. At least now they will know why I am refusing to spend anymore time around her even if they dont believe me. I didnt use my burner account because she stalks me and knows about that one too. Also, I appreciate the hope but I have a feeling a guy would be more willing to look past these things than a woman would. A…

Yep. My ex keeps pushing every day all day to get back together. I made a list of everything that went wrong and all the crazy shit she did especially after I filed and moved out. My therapist tells me to look at the whole picture of the relationship instead of just the good times you want to remember. Every bit of it is difficult, but she doesn’t do anything to address the issues we had.

I filed. Lots of issues over the years on both ends, but ultimately financial infidelity was the last straw. It’s weird because I feel like I can’t find many similar stories of people going through the same thing as me. I guess I should be happy there was no cheating, but I feel like I can’t trust anything I know about her now. And I constantly wonder if I did the right thing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
