He's making it clear that he's never going to try. They start pushing that low-effort agenda early on, so the imminent disappointment isn't a surprise. If you ask questions, he'll spin it so you seem judgemental or something. NEXT!

I am going through this. I told him I couldn't take anymore bullshit a few days ago, and he just called 20 mins ago. I'll always let it go to voicemail. I know I should block him so I don't see it and ever feel tempted, but I think he only chases because he wants to be liked by everyone. My secret revenge is watching him try and fail after breaking my dumb-girl heart Not emotionally available, but sure does cave into his impulses easily...

Your unenthusiastic consent is going to get you physically hurt. Using the socially acceptable excuse of cooking food, doesn't excuse you pretending to be naive about his intentions. You knew he wanted to fuck. Why else would he invite you home -and cook for you? I think you could save yourself from possible rape by seriously deciding if you actually want to sleep with a guy before going back to his house alone with him. Like, reeeeally think hard about it. Honestly, it sounds like you just want…

"I'm like, I guess okay, but..." You let a guy you aren't enthusiastic about put his hands on you. A massage is never just a massage! Haven't you seen pulp fiction?

This doesn't really answer the when-to-have-sex rampant debate on this sub. Many women say to hold out for several dates or even a month. It makes me think there isn't much sexual chemistry there. Can't we enjoy sex while a man takes us out simultaneously? I've traveled and had excellent sexual chemistry with a man who took care of everything. We are/were both adventurous, and I never felt any need to withhold sex - early in dating or while agreed monogamous with each other. I think pre-set agen…

It's okay to be a little intimidating. You never wanted to date a coward anyway. Also, you don't have to approach him specifically. Alcohol/bars/parties are welcoming enough circumstances that you could just walk up the group he's speaking with and listen until you have something to contribute. Speak platonically. Be your usual confident, intimidating self. If he's interested in you and what you're saying, he'll likely move to be closer to you. Just don't wait around for him. Be ready to move on

Negging and gaslighting.... oh brother. When they ask you if you are sure about something, just tell them "you never have to ask me if I'm sure."

I am happy and content in general. It doesn't matter to me if I seem single I don't care about being hit on either, I usually just patronizingly say "Oh aren't you just the sweetest" and go back to playing pool. After a sentence or two, most half-intelligent men give up and go find someone easier. I'm just fine with that. Water on a duck

I'm pretty burned out of OLD. I beginning to think quality men don't use it because, yes, they regularly put themselves in locations where high-quality people frequent. Men on OLD are literally shopping for women, and you are "for sale." They are going to haggle you, and gauge how little they can contribute to get what they ultimately want. Probably gonna get downvoted for that, but I'm really starting to believe it. I'm thinking about shutting it all down to become full-time selfish.

I think it's important to be familiar with your 'enemy'. Reading their evil hate-soaked posts reminds me that I'm probably not as safe as I've grown to feel. By reading the views of people I do not agree with, I give myself the opportunity to develop a more accurate concept of the world we live in.

I swipe left on so much and still match with most I like. I'll go ahead and entertain you on my disqualifies... even though I've enjoyed a pretty neurtral quiet presence on the internet here these last few years... No Kids No visible tattoos No poly stuff or threesomes Needs to have an undergrad like me, anything further is frosting on my sapiophile cake. No cigarettes Most pictures need to be smiling Swipe left on critical comments in bio like: "Girls who vote X swipe left" No dude, swiping in …

Another thing that makes me not want to date despite feeling lonely was a post from this sub the other day that showed how many hundreds of thousands of followers there are for misogynistic subforums- and there are less than 20k here! I bet a few thousand are male observers. I don't want to say I've lost all hope in love, but it's starting to seem so impractical.

Yeeah I got banned from tinder. I got un-enthused about dating again (like now) and switched my profile to advertise for my small business. Got some good clients before it got shut down. I decided I wasn't really getting a great quality dating experience from tinder so I never sought to use a new phone number to set up a new account. Plus, I got a hunch that most men use multiple dating apps anyway

OLD has been a playground for me for the last year or more. I'm just realizing that in all the time I've spent drinking dating and kissing, I could have learned spanish or coding. I have nothing to show for the effort I've put into finding a wonderful man, and so instead of hanging out with Mr. Right Now from bumble, I might just... not date at all. Which I've haven't felt okay about in years. I'm not in my early 20s anymore, and I'm sort of coming to accept that a loving husband and family migh…

The male strategies have huge subs and pages with hundreds of thousands of proponents, do we have a deadline?- or is society more forgiving- given that we are well under 50k to start. compared to the hundreds of thousands of overt mysos. I honestly follow their subs to prepare myself.

"keeping his profile up just to see if he would see people he knew" I can just see him nodding to himself, 'yeah why wouldn't she believe me, she's stupid and has to be nice because she's a woman. I got this' I worry about the children of these people
