There's a suicide issue among men, has been and it will only get worse until we want to have a serious discussion about it. There is no discussion, because no one wants to do anything about it. In the end, most men have no one to turn to and no one gives a fuck about middle aged men who "can't man up". Once your parents are gone, seriously only you can take care of yourself. There isn't people wanting to lend a hand or take care of you, like the majority of women get. Both of these people had go…

Nope. I've never believed in feminism, because its stupid to just promote "equality" for one gender. Either you're for equality or not, it's pretty simple.

Men have 0 input. Welcome to the world. Of course if she refuses to get one, you're on the hook for support.

I mean it's already all been decided off camera, what you're seeing is simply a show that's put on.

And they all are truly horrible spineless people. Seriously, if you aren't happy, just get out of the relationship, don't bring down others with you. Of course it's the man's faults the woman is looking elsewhere, he isn't doing something "right". There's no question that there isn't some guys who are completely useless in their relationships, but at least tell them you're gonna step outside the relationship.

Anyone who thinks illegal immigrants can't be criminals isnt too bright. Let me guess, you live in the Midwest or something. People not living next to the border usually have the biggest say in border politics for some reason. Also the border patrol does way more than catch "illegals".

Child support is understandable, but the method of collecting it and determining the amount needs to change. Children don't fucking need 4000 a month for support. The parent who retains custody should also be forced to show receipts to the court to prove the money is benefiting the child and not Lexus payments.

I'm all against bias and stuff but you can't blame the insurance industry. They're only going off stats. Men are more likely to get into accidents and die than women. This of course is because there are way more male drivers than women drivers by far on the road countiusly.

Please tell me where all these great women are then. You ever been out in the dating pool lately man? Women don't want to cook a meal or maintain a "home". They just want a guy to take them out and spend money on them most the time. Not to say I wouldn't want a woman who hangs out at home all day anyways.

I do not have children, but I feel the sympathy for you. All the men who actually got their shit together, have a great career and look forward to nothing more than being a father to their children. Then the court system gets involved and turns these men into "the father that was never there for me" to a lot of kids.

The highway you are referring to is called the US-395. I highly advise anyone using this highway to pay attention to speed limit signs the whole way. The road is very long, things start to look the same and boom you're in a town with a 30-40mph difference out of no where. The 395 is a beautiful drive though, and I encourage anyone who wishes to see the beauty of the California Sierras to at least give a drive through there. I make a trip every year now.

Funny you mention the employer thing. Going through tough times at work right now. Now either I can get upset and angry, or spend my time shaping the situation to benefit me. Employer has too much work right, so much that our current team can't keep up. Everyone is completly burnt out and pissed off, has bad attitude, etc. Not me, I'm still kicking around and doing the best I can. Was married for a long time and it wasn't toxic so much as it just didn't work. We got along okay but in the end neither of us was happy. I'm never ever getting married again though, it isn't worth the time and really I haven't seen any woman worth while bringing into my life. The entitlement of most women is what drives me nuts, I can't deal with it.

Focus on your schoolwork and just do hobbies you enjoy. The shit you remember about high school is the extra activities you do, not the people you meet there. I remember all the stuff I did at school like sports, clubs , etc. But I really don't remember who liked who, who was an asshole, etc etc. That shit will all become a blur around your 20s. Enjoy your youth and just be around people you want to be associated with.

Haven't you seen enough crazy shit in the news to know that nothing is ever for sure in the legal world. You have judges overturning prenups, making men pay child support for children are clearly not there's, all kinds of outlandish things. The truth is, nothing protects you from everything. She or anyone can make accusations about you and you will have to defend it in court. The system is more likely to believe rape accusations against men than women, same with domestic violence against women. …

You laugh but just recently as the scales have turned, a lot of wives are starting to make way more money than their husbands. When they go to divorce, some judges have been awarding shit tons of alimony to men now. Women's rights groups have seriously been fighting against this shit.

The nation will only collapse if the top gets too greedy. Which, you guessed it, is going on right now. As the middle class shrinks, you get massive income inequality which just pisses everyone off who is working hard. The people who work hard need to be separated from people who don't, and basic income doesn't even really touch on that.
/r/MGTOW09/08/16 05:55 PM

Social programs are used to prevent crime and poverty so that it doesn't disrupt society enough to cause it to collapse. If you really think basic income is some sort of handout that people want, you are mistaken. Basic income won't be six figures a year living in a four bedroom house. It will be near poverty level income while living in a studio apartment in a shithole ghetto. I could give a flying shit that I'm paying for people who don't want to pursue higher careers basic income while I'm li…

But I do exercise and exert a bit of control over my diet to what I put into my body. I care about my health. I also do work my ass off doing a job where I'm well compensated for, because I love the notion of not living paycheck to paycheck and I own my own property. When I open my wallet, there's money in it. Unlike most fathers. Having a kid is something you really really really really have to want. Otherwise you are shooting yourself in the foot. Kids cost tons of money, even more if the woman takes them away from you (which is likely the case if you don't get along with her. ) Face it, until men get any type of equal rights over having children, it's a stupid idea if you wish to live a less stressful life.

The same goes for financials. Reddit people would lead you to believe that you should be eating chicken, rice and lentils everyday, driving a 1981 Honda civic and buying clothes at the thrift store to put away every nickel for retirement day. I understand where you're coming from. But living frugal is a joke. You have to live for now just as much as you live for tomorrow. I can understand if you're broke and don't make good money but if you do, WHY live on beans and rice every day? Lemme tell you a story about a coworker. He worked 7 days a week, ten hours a day for years upon ends. The guy made over 250-280K per year not to mention massive retirement hours for his pension. He would take regular vacations but not really enough in my …

This is why I love hiking. I hike every weekend if I can. I'd do it every day if I could. I turn my cellphone off, and hike for a good 4-5 hours every weekend. It gives me a chance to clear my mind, really think about my life. I usually do trails where there isn't many people. I don't have to please anyone, talk to anyone, just quiet sounds from nature and myself with my thoughts. If I hadn't found hiking, I would have most likely killed myself by now.

What the fuck is it with women and phones? The advent of smartphones has women on their phones all the time. They can't remove their face from them

Nope. Sorry. As a man, once you have kids you're fucked anyway. Most of the time the court will most certainly give custody to the mom. Because "children need their mother" bullshit. Child support is usually mandatory, to the point if you don't pay, you're thrown into jail. Child support always cost more than alimony.

I'm in my mid 30s, not exactly old but I've seen a bunch of relationship disasters. Quitting your job as a man is the stupidest fucking thing you could ever do. Never ever give up your career to be Dependant on a woman to take care of you. Your employment gap will almost make it impossible to get back into your field after your ex destroys you. Yeah she makes more money, however when she gets the kids you'll end up with paying more child support than alimony she owes you. Second, yes. People thi…

After a while you just don't give a fuck anymore. I'm kinda in the same boat, going through a long dry spell which will last me who knows how long. I've really no interest in fixing it really. I don't want to put up with woman shit really, its just not worth it. Having to go out on a date, dealing with shallow bullshit, having to play the whole dating game just to end up either hooking up or starting a subtle relationship. One key issue is I am approaching mid 30s and I have no interest in havin…

Lol. This is why when I was confronted with divorce I straight up said I will quit my job and live on the street. We will both starve if you aren't reasonable with an amount of alimony. Also, I'm not leaving MY home, you can leave if you wish. Never ever abandon your homes men, never.

The thing to remember is not flash your money off. I have coworkers who drive new BMWs every year and throw their money away on stupid shit all to get women. I drive a old car that's still in good condition. I own my own house, its not some mansion though, its modest living. Disposable income is what's important to me, allows me to have a safety net along with taking international vacations. The only mistake I made, was getting married young. I'm still paying for that mistake. Never again though…

Very true. Going to head past 200K this year, been working dirty nasty blue collar job since I left high school. full retirement and health plan. I'm glad women have no clue what I make, less likely for them to financially try to screw you.

They've done studies and you're exactly right. Credit cards remove people's realities of using their money. Definitely another thing people have to keep track of. But debit cards are the same thing ideally, just directly connected to your checking account.

I'm in my 30s now. I use to be married and we talked about kids before like it was possible. Since my divorce I've thought about it and come to the conclusion that I don't want to deal with having to take care of another person again. I took care of my ex very good and look where it got me. I'm sure I would make an alright father but there's enough kids in this world already and I love my dogs way better than other people anyway. I don't think any less of men who do want kids, its not something …

Bout a year ago I got into churning credit card points. Got some amazing free flights/hotels out of it. I don't suggest churning to everyone, lots of discipline involved in keeping track of cards and their annual fees so you dont end up paying for them, etc. But cash back cards are a no brainer, I have no clue why everyone doesnt just use them.

Mortgage isn't a bad idea for everyone. My house has more than doubled in value since I bought it. Now, I'm not looking to sell anytime soon but if I did, I would have scored a lot of money for taking out a mortgage. Credit is not evil at all. If you're bad at managing money or understanding interest rates, then yes its bad for you. Otherwise, maintaining a good credit history can really pay off during an emergency situation. Also, owning your own home is pretty nice. Just try to pay it off soon…

Yeah, credit card reward points are pretty much free if you just pay off the balance every month. I use a credit card for everything because of the benefits. I suppose if you aren't good with keep tracking of money its a bad idea. But if your card gets stolen, the bank loses its money, not yours like a card that's connects to a checking account. Second, a lot of cards provide buyer protection and extended warranty plans.

Young 30s here. Was hospitalized for attempting when I was a teenager. I got better with meds and a bit of help. My life got better and I was on the path to feeling good and trying to make a good life. Then of course, things change for the worse. I'm wasn't equipped to handle them, a week doesn't go by where I wish I had succeeded when I was a kid. I don't know why I'm hanging on, I guess I'm hoping it can get better again. But its been almost three years of misery now.

The money I would have saved by never getting married in the first place(now divorced). Man, its so fucking much. I would have easily paid off my house already.

Divorce/marriage ruins all your goals and dreams. I'm sure everyone here knows this, but I'm just reminding everyone once more, its a good way to end up wanting to just do yourself in and get it over with.

I know how to complain and I don't think taking shoes back is really qualified as complaining. But I know exactly where you are coming from. Most men have no one to complain to, no one gives a shit about our problems.

I'd rather be a male model or some shit than have nasty old women grabbing at my junk all day. Hell, even appealing women all drunk and plastered grabbing at it would get super old fast. Sure you make quick money and what not, but some of these guys could definitely do better than this.
