With Coronavirus declared a pandemic trying to initiate physical contact with a stranger is a huge NO. It’s just a new way to immediately make someone feel uncomfortable.

Some people get off on starting drama for attention. Try to ignore, politely clear up any misunderstandings with others and TRY not to shit talk her to people you both know because ANY reaction is clearly what drives her. Someone in my life actually cut off all his college friends, changed his number and moved to get away from toxic people like that. You can’t change her, you just have to be the bigger person and try to not let her stress you out.

It’s definitely a truth and it works both ways. When BF is getting introverted and I feel ignored I busy myself with something interesting and BAM suddenly I’m the center of his attention and affection. Also when others (male or female) give off a lot of positive energy I find that it gives me energy and I can easily be more outgoing. The key is balance.

She said “the way you talk about girls” so that says to me that you either made a few comments about women’s physical attributes (which if she doesn’t feel close to you would make you seem shallow, pushy or arrogant,) OR you made a statement (event causally) about how women suck. You could have even been mentioning an ex and sounded petty. If neither of these things happened in the convo and other friends don’t see the problem then she was just being over-sensitive or got in her own head about s…

Mirroring, intentional touching and open body language are much more accurate indicators. Changes in light and many medications (including antihistamines believe it or not) can cause the eyes to have this response. I would not hold this as an indicator anymore really...also if you’re squinting into someone’s face trying to check out their pupils it’s probably gonna kill the vibe a bit.

Nah there are some people here that are offering authentic insight and advice on here. People who have actually pulled useful info out of The Game or The Art of Seduction. It’s not everyone, but it’s there. And it’s interesting. I prefer to lurk anyway.

Also, sorry I took “genuinely” as “actually” rather than “being truthful” if we are looking at definition. Also...dunno why you’d try to be a dick here of all places. I’m trying to help and I’m telling you the PUA stuff is outdated and creepy. Give it up. Women don’t like it

Have I laughed when someone creeped me out? Absolutely. It’s a different kind of laugh then a genuine positive reaction to humor. But if you’re concentrating on being pushy and getting to your goal you’re going to see what you want to see. Also maybe I’m a pushover but as long as I don’t feel overtly threatened I have a hard time being rude so I’ll chat for a minute and make and excuse to dip or find an opportunity to mention that I’m taken. At one point I threw a ring on my ring finger (not eve…

I have read the pua books out of curiosity. A few years ago I was working at a mall and would continually be approached on my breaks and it was irritating and creepy. Didn’t understand where it was coming from until I read about it. Just wondered if it was still a thing so I came upon this sub. I offer my opinions as a woman because a lot of the convos that go on here are mega misguided

Touching your hair and laughing are not always signs of interest. They can just as often be signs of discomfort. Honestly don’t know how anyone is getting women’s numbers this way. Any time it’s happened to me it’s been creepy af.

When I’ve been cold approached I bring up my boyfriend as soon as possible so that the guy will naturally wrap up the conversation and I won’t feel like I’m being rude. If I were you I’d take it as an automatic sign that she’s not interested and move on.

Actually yes. Because it was true. I got sick and spent nearly the entire trip in the ER overseas lol not much of an opportunity for anyone to fuck

I explained that I had a few grand sunk into it and couldn’t cancel. I asked him to buy out my ex’s half so we could have an adventure together. He couldn’t. He told me he understood that this pre-existed is getting together and that he’s wasn’t happy about it but accepted it. I was miserable for the whole trip tbh and the part where we hit a rough patch was largely because he assumed I slept with my ex on the trip out of nostalgia. I didn’t. The ex had a new girlfriend at that time as well so w…

Be in or be friends with someone in the local music scene. Smaller, more intimate venues and open mics draw in a lot of friendly people. If you and a woman are both regulars at a spot she may even approach you and take some pressure off there.

I was the girl in this situation a few years ago. Broke it off with a long term relationship, really liked the new guy I was seeing but already had a vacation planned and paid for with the ex. Difference was that I did NOT want to go on that trip...tried to sell my half or get friends to buy out the ex, begged for a refund but ended up having to go. It put a lot of strain on my new relationship but ended up working out. Been with the new guy for 2.5 years, couldn’t be happier.

Women are afraid they’re going to walk into your place and it’s gonna be a super sloppy bachelor pad and they’ll be turned off, or they don’t know you well enough to trust that they’re not going to get kidnapped. Or they’re not ready to sleep with you yet. It’s not you, it’s just general awareness on their part with a new person. Take some pics of your spot and show them off to her as you get to know her on the date. If she sees that you live in a safe-looking, welcoming space she may be more on…

Hmm sends the twerking video but then only says maybe to a date? Sounds like she’s just as much of a n00b at dating as you. I read that as she doesn’t know how to flirt but knows that guys generally respond to sexual provocation. I think if you’re persistent but not creepy you’ll get that date for sure!

It seems to happen a lot? So the women and the situations are the variables but you are the constant. Either you’re overthinking other people’s body language or the issue is, in fact, you. My guess is you’re overthinking. Especially because you said that you’re being conscious of having positive body language.

Ok I’m going out on a limb here as a female giving an opinion. I’m a fan of Charisma on Command on YouTube. The channel gives some great tips on building confidence and behaviors that drive away others vs. behaviors that attract others. PUA strategies will possibly get you laid by dumb drunk chicks but the other point of these strategies is to build you up from the inside so that you can feel comfortable interacting socially. Understand that some parts of that book are entirely focused on having…

She’s very clearly interested in getting to know you. You won’t really be able to gauge the intent until you talk to her more. To friend zone someone you actually have to be friends first?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
