The author is throwing around a bunch of mush about we're all human. There are reasons to avoid PUA-land, but these aren't good ones. The tactics of pickup artists aren't known to succeed, for one thing. And if they did succeed, the idea of random sexual encounters is degenerate anyway.

The male version of feminism is still feminism. This implicitly brings up the problem of so-called "men's rights" -- that it is prepositionally the same egalitarian abstraction as feminism. So you're trying to solve a problem with more of the same problem. First, there is no such thing as "rights." They are dispensations granted by the state that it can and does add and subtract at will. Second, people are not equal, by class gender or whatever demographic category you want to think about. In sh…

It's a bunch of intellectual dishonesty -- and it constitutes standard dating advice in the English-speaking world. For example: "Offer your time and attention freely and without expectation." Sorry, not possible. People have limited resources, especially those who have lives. Other than your closest intimate, nobody deserves anyone's unlimited attention. "Abandon the idea of The Friendzone." Sorry, the catch phase may be cliched, but it refers to the reality of rejection. Women hate rejection a…

Any behavior made by any male to any female can constitute sexual harassment, if someone wants to spin it that way. Male status need not be human, but may also include dogs, cats and small furry rodents.

1.) Yes! In times of constant physical threat, men have to protect their women in order to ensure survival. 2.) I should point out, tho, providing isn't necessarily "beta" if you handle it correctly. Otherwise, we'd have to say that every single man who had a wife who stayed at home was "beta."

I'm starting to think that there's not just one way to handle tests. It's not so much what you say as the attitude you take. You just have to show you are unfazed by the whole thing. Just don't spend a bunch of money.

Maybe the most RP thing you can do is just to stay off Tinder. It's like digging for gold on land that's already dug up.

Looking at extensive lists is counterproductive. It make things too complicated. Moreover, no one can predict every situation. If she's pushing your buttons in any way, it's a test. Just stay calm and handle it rationally.

Even the desired guy has to be a bit subtle or else it becomes a reverse conquest. The girl will get tired of the guy. If you've been married a long time, the rules are all different, tho.

"Women want to be wanted—and they don’t want you to be shy about it." This is confusing. Everything I've read and seen about deal with women says NOT to do this. If you go around telling a woman how much you want her, she'll get bored and start practicing the "it's not you, it's me" speech.

"It broke off because he started to become abusive and finally sexually assaulted her..." Notice how "it broke off," which means that ex-bf dumped her? Had she left him, he would have mentioned it. Also, the bit that he "sexually assaulted her" is very likely bogus. She resented the breakup and reframed it as having an abusive boyfriend.

This whole "dark triad" thing is one of the most shallow things I've ever seen on the internet. And I've seen plenty of shallow things on the Internet. You guys want to teach yourself to be mentally defective, because you think that way women will like you? You might as well try to get asperger's syndrome to become a better engineer.

I'm not 100% on the whole red pill ideology (for one thing, because it is an ideology). But who signs up for blue pill? Seriously? "Look at me. I'm a wimp. Pity me." "Please, kind sir, come and take my lunch money."
/r/TheRedPill12/07/14 11:39 PM

Guy needs to just walk away and fast, If she really wants him, she'll be him to stay. If that happens, he can weigh his options. But dumping is better.

Why do you want a girl whose existence revolves off soaking her parents? Once that tap runs out, she will go looking for someone else to sponge off of.

If she plows through -- or gets plowed by -- 98 guys in a few weeks and none of them are any good, the problem is with her. In addition, writing that article is an SMV killer.

Alpha and beta are just generalizations. Men can be dominant is some areas of life but not in others. You just try to improve yourself.

How much false flirting and leading-on did it take for that chick to be asked out 98 times? You realize that at least 50 guys got friendzoned out of all this, not realizing that this chick only wanted to get free food and sell a freelance article.

If you screw around on the job and you get fired because what transpired out of the relationship, you shouldn't cry sexual harassment. You knew there were sharks when you got in the ocean. The law will think differently, but anyone will tell you not to sleep with people at work.

There may be reasons to be friends with a girl without a romantic connection. She might be a friend of the family, someone you've known for a long time, your boss, whatever. Just be a friend without being an orbiter. Of course, if you are in one of those friendships, it won't be much of an issue. The thing you almost never do is accept more than the most casual of acquaintances after getting LJBF. You can be Facebook friends with anyone. That's as much a contact list as anything.

Note to self: if I ever become I rock star, I will never dedicate music to a specific woman. If we broke up, I might be stuck performing it on tour for the rest of my life.

The ones who run around chasing loose women are called PUAs. Red Pill is more about improving your identity and making yourself a better person. And there is advice here that you should care about your hobbies and be unique.

The problem with text and Tinder and that many girls, especially if they are young and attractive, are just overwhelmed. She may think you're cute and awesome, but you may just be drowned out all by all the noise she gets. Always work on making yourself a better person, but don't take this stuff personally.

The multiple to references to subways, taxis, etc, makes me think she lives in New York or San Francisco or some other congested area. If she is that afraid, she should move somewhere less congested and cheaper.

You can maintain frame and STILL be accused of sexual harassment. It all depends on whether she senses something to gain from making the claim.

I'm amazed that a hipster zine like Westword, which is Denver's "Village Voice" clone, went with this story. They probably did only because she burned them as a source on another story.

I always understood polyamory as when a woman wants to sleep with someone who isn't her boyfriend or husband. If mean want to spin plates, they don't usually use a buzzword and an ideological justification.

Don't worry about the categories of Alpha, Beta and whatever. Everybody has tendencies that might be fall in different slots at different times. Don't worry about being an "alpha" male because those people only exist in women's romance novels and on soap operas. Just concentrate on making yourself a better person.

No offense, but isn't this constant barrage of discussion about Jerks vs. Nice Guys getting old? I get it. Bad boys get chicks. But I knew that back before Reddit even existed.

It wouldn't be tolerated. The girl would be led to believe she has a stalker and the guy would be kicked out of school.
