It's not that. I am in the same position, int he sense of being a 17 year old, white straight male. The response is slightly unreasonable. As the title is click baity. Look, the world only hates you cause of a mix of things. In the sense of how you feel, partly cause you sound anxious, partly cause you look into politics enough, which is more or less tribalism (a mentality of them against us, if you aren't with us you are against us mentality too). Stop caring about the internet so much. Polit…

Damn so voting and equal women were something women were against, yes makes sense.

I agree, issues in other countries such as not being able to drive in Saudi Arabia (up until 2018), are issues there and can't be used as evidence/excuses in another country with completely different laws like USA for example.
/r/MensRights01/08/22 11:37 AM

That is incorrect yes. I never agreed with them. I said before In USA and Europe, where most of this feminist are, I believe men have it worse then women and that the feminist they're aren't much needed. The points that you made are good with the one child policy, yes but the infanticide was happening still in the 19th century.
/r/MensRights01/08/22 10:44 AM

I see, your points are great. I can't say much except thank you really. It really does help put the perceptive.

I understand all of that. My problem is when the notion of women having it worse is even said as an idea, people no matter what start insulting you and believe everything you have presented as absolutely false. I understand how people could've seen it but when just the idea was mentioned to them they completely disagree that women could have it worse at all anywhere.
/r/MensRights01/08/22 08:31 AM
1

Yes, I agree. I would rather have it as in your country. I know that. Problem, when the mention of possibly another country having it worse for women is presented, people (not all but a good amount) dismiss it as false.

Well the Nazis probably ended up doing some good somewhere to someone. So what? What's your point? The meteor that destroyed the dinosaurs probably wasn't seen as great at the time but it worked out well for us. What's your point? Well that is a horrible comparison. Feminism in the west especially in the 20th century has allowed women to gain: Right to vote, equal pay acts, Anti-sex discrimination laws. This all allowed women to vote, which allowed them to vote for a candidate they wished. They …

I am focusing on that because it is completely ignored. I don't talk about this or even dare mention it on normal posts as it would be redundent and moronic to mention on a normal post like about a marriage falling apart or etc. I only mentioned it in a poll that happened where it asked if women have it better or worse. I thought of it globally, not nationally (in the sense that I thought about it as how women have it in the whole world, and not in your country) and I commented it my way. When…

So you're argument boils down to because feminism has a negative impact currently in your country (I am assuming the west), you shouldn't be happy if it has any positive impact in other countries. Sounds like you can't comprehend the idea of being empathetic or sympathetic. Plus like I said before, and literally in the post, I know and understand that in USA and Europe men have it worse, I have said that too many times. But is it hard to understand or to maybe think that it's not everywhere like…

Dude, it's historical, not just one child policy. It has been historically documented how specifically girls were killed, other ways in 19 century were also Starvation and drowning. How is it that if a girl was the child it puts them in a terrible position, but if it's a boy it is a good position, it sounds more like boys were valued. Yes if it was vice versa it would be boys being killed, which I would use as boy's being valued less. Again this is historical, it happened in the 19th century.

Of course it isn't easy but that isn't the only labour (like a job isn't only hard labour), in addition historically pheasant women would help sometimes in agriculture.

I know that giving your perspective is different to dismissing some one else perspective, problem is when the perceptive is mention it is ignored/dismissed as if it doesn't exist.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 07:21 PM

Ok, how exactly would you rectify this? Not sure, though I heard making rape a gender neutral crime is a good way,a nd spreading awareness. The islamic one, yes it sucks for both men and women, I know (I don't like using anecdotal) I live in a muslim country. It sucks for both men and women yes, but women have more restrictions I would say, but it is true men get harsh punishments, so I guess in that sense you are right.

That's why I am fine with it on most posts here. But when the points have relevance to an argument or idea in the post and when it's mentioned it is just seen as trolling even when it's relevant. I wouldn't make this post and waste 8 hours today, because people don't mention it on a post about personal gyms, no I made it because people hated the idea being mentioned and downvoted and berated anyone who had a different idea.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:54 PM
1

I know,so whats the problem in mentioning it, if it's ever mentioned people just start insulting you and not taking anything you commented seriously, because it's different. I have no problem if people don't talk about it on regular posts but if people start ignoring such points and it relates to the post, then thats dumb, a post like that poll I mentioned
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:51 PM

No, my complaint is that when the idea of eastern countries (some not all) oppressing women more then men, it's ignored and just called a troll.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:43 PM

Yes, because you know you can't say the pros and cons of different countries and not be racist. Yes, because as a person who has basically never lived in the western world, I love only white people, yes yes. Makes absolute sense. Plus I criticise that in USA and European countries, men have it worse, so it's not like I like white culture either (as I assume you believe this is white culture)
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:41 PM

No, I am not, that's what I have been saying, some issues are specific to some countries. That's what I am saying, where did you get the other part form. I don't see it as a sign of bigotry or ignorance, I understand the context. Problem is when the ideas of oppression of women in eastern countries is shown, it has been ignored or people strawman that somehow the person is talking about the whole world.

The poll talked about everyone in the world, if women in general have it better or worse. I understood people would talk about how it's in their country, I gave examples of other country issues, it was ignored.

I haven't had the chance to hear your MRM ideals yet. Mind sharing a few easy ones? Okay here are some, I support the movement of making domestic violence less of a gendered crime. I also support the recognition of rape done be women on men I also support the deconstruction of the man being seen as a predator or less likeable, example: men can easily be seen as pedos. Now to the fourth debunking point, Women were also expected to be completely obedient to their husbands, be ready for sex (in i…

No, I am not surprised or mad because of that. I am mad because when third world countries are introduced into the idea, for some reason, the points about women suffrage there, are ignored for no good reason and just called trolls.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:01 PM

First the god of gaps argument doesn't make sense here, also it was more that I was saying that I don't think in every country on this planet men have it worse then women. 1 country is enough to prove that idea. You are quite wrong, you do know that men and women both protested for women's right to vote, right? at least in the USA. In addition, you are practically saying that the movement made nothing good, which is false.

I have seen barely anyone say "Women definitely have it hard, but..." and I have seen more people just dismissing it and when people comment about it, they get just called a troll because hey can't have the opinion that in any aspect men can have it better. I haven't actually, I have had a whole discussion with someone about it. I know about it and its horrible, though women are raped and sexually assaulted in extremely large amounts. I never said Brown men are immoral, just because I focus on India, Middle east and China, doesn't mean I find them immoral, that would be like saying I find USA women have more privileges then men in USA, so it means White woman are worse then Brown woman, that's how you're implying it.

Just so we're clear: you do believe brown-majority cultures are less moral than white-majority cultures. Bold take. My dude, where the fuck did you find that, like I said I don't it's just different cultures, it's not like all of them are identical, maybe share ideas, yes, not identical. Men have it worse in USA and European countries, you know where the model would be used. Sadly feminism is a women's movement if that wasn't obvious. Definition matters as that's the definition, goals are something different. I don't agree mostly with the feminism in the west like I have said now hundreds of times, I don't agree with the radical misandry ones either.

First, women are seen as less. Such as female infanticide in China, Women being employed less in jobs in India because they're women. Being obedient to someone like to your mentor or parents, is different. As you see a mentor is someone who teaches you like a teacher, and a to a parent, as the provider. A wife is an equal to her Husband, I know this is anecdotal, but having an obedient wife makes their life miserable, I have seen it too many times now. Confidence and competency and taking the …

did you read any of the links I sent, such as you know the third one which showed other factors like women not being allowed to be employed for certain jobs in different Indian states. Or the first one that even had it, showed that women lost their jobs far more than men, in all aspects, more than the overall average.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 05:10 PM

Yes men were expected to continue the family name, problem meant that most girls got killed (infanticide) or abandon, this doesn't make it any better, there is a reason now why there is a larger population of males in China. Still isn't justifiable, pus it's not a one of thing, it has happened before in history in China.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 05:06 PM

No, the problem here is people literally do not believe (?) in it, example there was a poll that recently happened, it asked if women had it better or worse then men. Most said better, I looked through the comments and replied some myself, and some just didn't accept valid points, and just downvoted everyone who had a different idea (most didn't deserve it).

I don't need to be proven, I already know most of it. My point is this sub dismisses female suffering, and the possibility of them having it a little worse then men. More men than women have been executed at most times and in almost all cultures. Burning of witches was done specifically to women (and a very small amount of men) because women didn't conform This happens as a result of female privilege. I am tired of people here not understanding what I am saying, I am saying that BOTH SUFFER, THERE ARE PROS AND CONS FOR BOTH YES, BUT TO DISMAY THE IDEA OF WOMEN SUFFERING AT ALL IS DUMB, WOMEN GET RAPED, MEN GET RAPED. DOESN'T MAKE LESSER OF ANY OF THEM,…

So the overwhelming amount of women working in sweatshops is just going to be dismayed. Also this is one example.

Bruh, ok. Basically what I have been trying to say, is both suffer, males have it worse in some countries in multiple aspects such as USA and most if not all european countries. While women have it worse in some countries in multiple aspects such as china, pakistan, iran and etc.

Males are victim of Violence majority, everywhere. That is horrible, horrendous. I am not saying that is nothing. What I am saying is this sub doesn't acknowledge any violations of women's rights, even through out history. I am surprised and disappointed by that all. Also i don't see how I compared infanticide to violence against men, I gave points to how different cultures have different ideals. I know my empathy, to people, be it man or women. I try to use reasoning first, such as why do p…

Using a straw man argument, I see it here more often. I never said or insinuated that white people are more moral. Difference is culture, not race. In addition I have said that most, not all. Examples: Israel, Singapore, South chorea and Japan have more gender equality than many European countries and the USA such as male genital mutilation (circumcision), rape /sexual assault /harassment /domestic violence for men not being taken as seriously as for women, the idea that men have to be the bre…

I have not been against it all. People here are driving me crazy, have none of you read my post, I literally commented on how male rape victims are taken as seriously, and yes in some countries like india, it isn't seen like a crime even, which is horrible, but why the hell does everyone here dismiss all of the points i make in the post. Edit: Yes some people will be against gender neutral rap laws in india, doesn't mean the idea of feminism is bad and that those people are right in any sense.

You tunnel vision into that they are more protected, you didn't give a single statistic. Yes males are the majority victims of violence, doesn't make my points less. Different cultures have different ideals, the ideal to protect women is much more prominent in the west.

Women in countries like China and India also are the majority of workers in Sweat shops. Here are some statistics. https://www.dosomething.org/us/facts/11-facts-about- sweatshopshttps://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2019/feb/01/major-western-brands-pay-indian-garment-workers-11p-an-hour https://www.ilo.org/wcmsp5/groups/public/---ed_norm/---declaration/documents/publication/wcms_379775.pdf The west has many benefits for women yes, and thats what I am saying, in the west yes Women have…

Women are seen as less valuable though, such as when china had the one child policy, females offsprings had a large chance of being abandonment or killed (infanticide), because they're less valuable to the family. here are sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_infanticide_in_China#:~:text=China%20has%20a%20history%20of,rivers%20or%20onto%20rubbish%20piles. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3168620/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/ethics/abortion/medical/infanticide_1.shtml https://www.w…

Sources for the oppression or people dismissing gender inequality in this sub. If you need for the second one, just look on this post, for the first one I have done some links in the replies. Also people tell me to give evidence, though I don't see anyone giving me links and evidence for their claims.

Wrong. Which gender do Those Places Over There have a draft for? You don't force people to sign up for military service if their loss isn't acceptable. And here it goes. First some countries indeed do have drafts for both genders, are there more that only draft men, yes but still. In addition, in asian communities, such as China, Pakistan, India and more, the birth of a man is celebrated as a miracle and a great occasion, while the birth of women are not celebrated and seen more of as a burden. …

How is what I am saying false. Women had to obey the man as shown in Islamic scripture, Women were seen as less valuable then a man in Asia in some areas such as the Middle east and the Indian subcontinent, and still are to a certain extent. Disregarding that women had any suffering is unreasonable and factually incorrect, the burning of Witches for example, women got burnt because they were seen as devil worshippers. In the medieval ages pheasant women not only cared for children and made clo…

What the fuck is wrong with you. You are saying that a person should always be happy to have sex, because they got married. The women doesn't just dilly dally around the house, she cleans it, takes care of the children and cooks. Which makes sense in a Nuclear family structure, you know split the work up. Not be a prostitute for the husbands liking whenever he needs to jack off. Also I am confused by your last statement.

I know it is (the male genital mutilation). The first post is fine, in the sense that it doesn't describe much, such as most of the male responsibility are just the responsibility of a nuclear family man, and an average person (such as satisfying their partner in sex and being well groomed). The only exceptions are the dowry, and the final divorce one. Which isn't much, as women also have responsibilities in the nuclear family structure as the women/wife, which is to take care of the children,…

Yes there are numerous sources in the west that can say that women are the oppressed class/sex, and there are also sources that say women aren't the oppressed class in the west, while for the Saudi Arabian women, there aren't any sources. In addition I and the commentor have given you multiple examples that you have blatantly ignored.

The driving is relevant as you blatantly overlooked the the fact they said it. The claim doesn't need to be true as a person could still be treated as a second class citizen in a country, such as African american people in 1950's were treated as second class citizens in USA, even though it wasn't written into the law that they were second class. Information sources in numerous amount isn't anecdotal as much, as there are numerous sources, in addition statistics, while personal experience's is …

Well women weren't allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia before 2018. A law doesn't need to state that a group of people are second class citizens for these citizens to be treated as second class citizens. I said it could be Saudi Arabia because like they said in the reply, women couldn't drive before 2018, legally. I also replied to you, where I talked about it. Also you don't need to live in a place to understand if it's good or bad. That's anecdotal evidence which isn't solid evidence.

How does that show that men have it worse? here are some gender inequality indexes that show how high America is and Europe, these indexes are for gender inequality towards women. https://www.cfr.org/legal-barriers/country-rankings/ https://ceoworld.biz/2021/06/11/the-worlds-best-countries-for-women-2021/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_Inequality_Index The countries that are above USA or many European countries are South Korea, Japan, Israel, Singapore. Here are countries in Asia that …

No you are quite wrong here. You don't need to experience something or been somewhere to have an opinion on a topic, example: I have never went to a war, but I still believe it's bad. You have used a strawman fallacy to say that the other person is wrong, and used a good example, in the sense that you show that they're correct, as indeed 1000000 is a big number, bigger than 1. You have also disregarded the good points of the other person like the Quran verse, which even if you look at various tr…

There are perks in a family structure/societal structure, not in inequality. Both men and women have inequality, Women have had it quite badly for a while. Like you could argue men had it worse because they were supposed to work and be in wars, but remember men had the option for some kind of job, men had a choice in a spouse, men were supposed to be dominating women because of religion, and women were supposed to obey, to blatantly say that women had it better to some degree always is not that …
