Good question. I will always keep a 48 hour gap between upper-body workouts and climbing sessions. I try not to push too hard with climbing. Ideally, I'd like to replace them entirely, but climbing only seems to help me with grip and forearms. Not so much for rest of the upper body. beastmaker 1000 That looks gooooood

Visiting a voice coach this week to tone down the accent. Also visiting a derm to work on acne. Starting to really enjoy indoor rock climbing. Lifts are going up. Things are looking good.

People are throwing around the words 'average' and 'easy' when they really mean the opposite. An average guy with great social skills, 6pack, an impeccable fashion sense. Go to bars every day, hit on 100 girls. It's easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/17 12:20 AM

At some point there, he stops being average.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/17 12:18 AM

Yes, they do. Most men are bad at picking them up. Nothing more embarrassing for both parties than a polite twitch misinterpreted as an IOI. Most women think huffing and puffing in a guy's direction constitutes as an IOI. The last girl who was into me said her obvious IOI was, "her paying attention when I talk."

People don't checklist random prospects and green light those who make it. They find other people they are attracted to, who are also single, available, and in their league, and then bring up the checklist. It's the first part that has people ending up in their 40s thinking 'there are no real men'. Not the checklist.

"So, what do you want to eat tonight?" "I don't know. Anything." "Pasta?" "No. Too much cheese." "Pizza?" "No. Had that last week." "Kebab?" "No. Not feeling like it." "Ramen?" "Um ... no" "Indian?" "No. Too spicy." "Thai?" "Nah." "Fish and Chips?" "No. Too greasy." "Mexican?" "No. Had that yesterday." "Steak?" "I am vegetarian this week. OMG, I can't believe there isn't a single decent restaurant in NYC."
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/17 08:29 AM

Nobody ever said looks is everything, but looks trump everything. It's like playing a game in easy mode vs hard mode. Sure, some people still lose in easy mode.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/17 03:27 AM

I'm glad it's working out for you. I've lost a ton of weight over the last two years, but I feel more insecure than ever. I am considering therapy sometime this year. Nothing else seems to have worked.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/17 12:26 AM

Not sure if it's my line of work, but I have never met a successful 24 year old women entrepreneur. Corporate people don't do it for me, and I don't hang around in those circles anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/17 12:08 AM

How did you 'figure it out'?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/17 08:47 AM

Money / success + physical fitness + age bracket (23-27)
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/17 08:39 AM

Why the requirements? I'm not asking for anything more than what I have.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/17 03:09 AM

Hypergamy. I am 24, fairly successful at work and with a ton of money in the bank. If I narrow down my options to someone equally well-off and in good physical shape, I rule out 99.9% of the women out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/17 02:45 AM

INFJ here. I have gone from being a hardcore romantic to everything-is-numbers. Like God and religion, love is something we grew up believing in simply because we didn't have the knowledge to fill in the gaps.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/17 07:46 AM

Yes, I was thinking more of Western Europe. My personal experience in NL and the UK has been good. Heard East is pretty harsh. It gets much better up north.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/17 11:47 AM

Where is that? Is that your experience dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/17 11:44 AM

I'd love to learn how the race dynamic changes between different countries. I don't think they have done any studies in that. From personal experience, Europe is forgiving, North America is a mixed bag, and Australia is the worst place to go inter-racial.

Reminds me of matching hypothesis. But that uses physical appearance as the single most important factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/17 08:56 AM

There is a good middle ground - it is one where they both workout, eat healthy, and dress well. Most people don't hit the gym to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. They want to look like this: https://shejustnotthatintoyou.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/male-body.jpg You can get this body with gymnastics too. Is that a turn-off?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/17 07:29 AM

Even if they are doing it solely to attract women, the two things are not equal. I understand the world of skincare and fashion just as well as the world of fitness and bodybuilding, and they aren't even remotely comparable. A women who loses weight and works out regularly to get attention would be on the same level as a bodybuilder. A women who puts on makeup would be on the same level as a man who uses body padding under his t-shirt.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/17 06:50 AM

Every time someone devalues the hard work and dedication we put in our diets and workout to be physically fit, putting us on the same level as dumb bimbos with 1cm-makeup and 2inch-heels, I die a little inside.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/17 03:45 AM

It takes nothing but a PC and an internet connection to learn how to code. There is nothing stopping them here. That's how I learnt it. Yet the number of female programmers is abysmal.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/17 12:13 PM

There was a height thread on PPD recently, and most women said they would date anyone taller than them, ie 5'4".
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/17 04:51 AM

Devs are far more likely to resort to the monster that is online dating. OkCupid is choke-full of landwhale men-shaming feminazis. After reading a 1000 profiles, and sending a few 100 unrequited messages, you start to believe that something is wrong with you. RP comes to the rescue and tell you that you aren't the disfigured monster they think you are. You seem to agree. Gladly, most women IRL aren't like OkCupid.

OP never said physical fitness is all that matters. Your answer would be better if it said, personality > fitness, and here is why ...

Physical fitness doesn't beat status, or even a pretty face. A skinny white dude with a pretty face will win over a ripped asian guy with a strong accent. In terms of things you can control, yes, fitness trump everything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/17 04:26 AM

Someone posted a link to a game called Feminazi: The Triggering. Someone commented that they should protest and have it taken down. I commented back, "Triggered" Apparently, that too triggered someone and got me a ban.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/17 03:59 AM

Fellow IT nerd here. The only disadvantage you have is that meeting women through work would be almost impossible. Other than that, I don't see how it goes against you. Those IT devs aren't bad with women because they are IT devs. It's a highly paid, well-respected, and future-proof line of work.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/17 03:55 AM

I got banned from /r/feminism for the most up-voted comment in the thread. Sensitive bunch, that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/17 03:51 AM

Please read my answer here, where I have cited sources for my two claims on height and race: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/68dr47/cmv_men_a_subject_to_a_much_harsher_beauty/dgz3xru/?st=j25nx3ic&sh=f568f124 You, on the other hand, pulled everything out of your ass. I'd like some evidence or studies backing your claims.

My metric is, "is the prejudice high enough to impact dating life" Have a look at OKC's 2014 race study. Men showed a lower preference for black women. For other races, Men's preferences weren't high or low enough to make a difference. Women's preference were far more stark, showing a clear preference for white, while punishing all other races. For men's preferences, 5 / 16 are in double digits percentages. For women, it's 12 / 16. Here is another study: https://www0.gsb.columbia.edu/mygsb/facul…

Two random posts pulled from a stupid sub-reddit. Well, that dismisses all the scientific studies and completely changes my view.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/17 04:42 AM

So a women's high standards for both sexes basically comes from them being insecure about looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/17 05:07 AM

Is that a genuine question or your attempt at rhetoric?

Not books. If you are learning PHP, your #1 source of reference should be php.net. If you are learning JavaScript, go for Mozilla docs on JavaScript, rather than W3Schools. For React, official FB docs on React. Tutorials are a good way to get started (Tuts+) but I stopped using them after a while.
/r/TheRedPill30/04/17 04:08 AM

I did exactly that. Taught myself how to code at nights after a grueling day at work. I make a pretty sweet living with it now. My two cents: If you aren't getting frustrated, you aren't trying hard enough. Tutorials are good, but official language and framework docs should be your best bet Learn plain JavaScript, then jQuery, then React Work on actual projects. Think of a simple web app, and then build it end-to-end. Since you're looking to get a job, don't skimp out on testing and code-structu…

So you mean a dude lying about 2 inch of height does turn him from a bridge troll into a dime?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/17 12:10 PM

It's like a dude walking around on 2" heels. At some point, it will come off, and you will lose the advantage you never really had, unless attention was your only goal.

3 out of 3 online dates bailed out this month. Deleted Bumble and Tinder. Disabled OKC. I started volunteering at a local not-for-profit restaurant taking orders. Hoping to improve my small talk and people skills. I don't feel shy or intimidated when I'm out there. Last week's DEXA shows my body fat is down to 17.7%. Aiming for 14% with some muscle gain in 3 months. Acne marks are clearing up. I found a haircut and beard length combo I am comfortable with. Two-on-the-side-and-finger-length-on-to…
