Probably because those groups have been co-opted by feminism, and we don't trust anyone coming here talking about it.

I would like to see more discussion about these kinds of topics. Then go join a LGBT activist group. The purpose of the MRA is to advocate for men's rights. That's why we don't talk about drones or global warming either. Feminism may have convinced you that you can talk about Marxism and LGBT and 20 other issues and it's all "feminism," but that's because feminism has become a fake movement. Go divide some other movement, or let's talk about men's rights. By the way, I'm a gay male. I find it fu…

We'd literally be India (or at least the poor areas of India)

Only one "human rights" movement didn't get persecuted and that's feminism. To be fair, it did get persecuted back when it was a human rights movement.

True, especially since they always mention it like we're Hitler's children or something. That alone should make people want to see what the fuss is about.

If you look deeper you'll see there's no real story or controversy here.. Also lol. My brother is a garbage collector. Didn't even think of the comment in that context. Thanks for the lighter perspective. :)

Sad thing is I'm a big fan of The National. Thankfully I can watch their songs on Hulu without ever watching the rest of the show.

But real anonymous people really made real threats to really rape her and it was real and not staged and she's really scared about such real youtube comments. Seems legit.

Because she's grasping at straws. She made a big fuss and launched a kickstarter and then when it came down to doing the actual work of her silly little project, she must have realized that the only way she would be able to find enough content to make her video series would be to flat out make things up... you know, the same way she got her kicstarter funded int he first place.

Do everyone a favor. Next time you feel an urge to post something from the garbage site that is upworthy.com, instead of doing that, just find the link to the actual youtube video that is embedded on that site, and post it as your link. You'll be shocked at the amount of better feedback you get. Most people like me, won't even click the link when they see that awful domain. I will click on a youtube link though.

I say a lot of things I don’t mean. I don't think Morrissey himself wants to to take EVERYTHING he says seriously... but yeah he's a hard core vegetarian.

I love comic books and anime, never once have I made a woman who also loves such things feel anything bad about herself. This logic makes me sick. (The Author most likely isn't really a geek)

I have a friend who's taking a "Woman's Studies" class. I liked him to /r/MensRights. All the sudden him and a ton of his classmates start railing about the patriarchy and how a men's rights movement in itself is offensive and hateful. I suspect that none of them even clicked the link. They were all men commenting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
