I didn't know how to dive before I met him. But I loved the sea a lot and had a genuine curiosity. I learned how not to be scared of water anymore. It was not like he imposed it. We were by the sea for 3 months a year and I discovered it and loved it so much. The alternative would have been to spend the day in a hammock on the beach sipping cocktails, but that would have been too boring for me :-) I can see how not having any hobbies that intersect can become a problem, in fact I see it often ar…

Most of our hobbies intersect. For example we both are huge fans of nature. So most of it revolves around being outdoors. When he cave dives I take walks in the forests around with my dog or read outside. I love scuba diving, we both do, so we go to places where we can do that. We dive together sometimes, other times I just go snorkeling and he does longer dives with his friends. We both are lucky to work remotely (we both are programmers). It might come of as disinterested, but I am able to see beyond that. I have enough experience to know that he a is valuable man who doesn't bend in order to please a woman. He knows what he wants and doesn't compromise just to please me. Everything he does is genuine. I respect that in a man. I am currently in a ltr with such a man. It's a matter of trust. We are both free to follow our dreams and never afraid of losing each other. I am aware this can be scary and hard to understand, but this is…

A talkative guy would seem weird to me. Men talk less by definition. I'd say a man who talks only when he wants to, not to entertain a woman. And is passionate only when he feels like it, not when the woman expects him to be.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
