I agree with this take.

I originally came for discussion but I soon realised that it was impossible. If I have an opinion that is different from the vast majority from men, I get one of the following responses: no wonder you’re single (I’ve been in LTRs for years) have fun dying alone with cats (I don’t mind that option) you’re delusional (any difference of opinion is delusion) quotes some study that’s not relevant to the discussion you just want Chad! (Yes I do - never dating down again) you overestimate your attracti…

I wouldn’t want to be with a doctor. They’re always busy, they have a lot of student debt and maybe a God complex? I’m less interested in doctors, lawyers and educators. I tend to prefer men in tech - I find their time to be a lot more flexible and they can be high earning.

I think both sides need to stop giving dating advice..

I’m introverted. When I was younger I sometimes took the “just go for it” advice and approached guys (which rarely works long term). Now I don’t approach at all. If I liked a guy at work for example, I would just have open body language, he more smiley and extend the conversation.

In most cases, you need a high status job for a high status (very pretty girl) to notice you. You can still get an average girl who also has a low status job.

I can see why all of this advice is eye rolling. None of it is wrong but it’s just thrown out there, regardless of the context. Some people need the most basic advice. For example, a lot of guys who have approached me have had BO and terrible breath. But most of the time they would get rejected because they’re unattractive, short (under 5ft7 for me) or disagreeable (contrarian on every topic).

Remember everything a woman says that doesn’t validate manosphere talking points is dishonesty and delusion. There’s no other truth than the stuff they spout on the internet.

I don’t care as long as I’m looked after. Women are getting cheated on right now with ugly broke men.

I wouldn’t be impressed. If I found out a guy I was dating was active on ppd or trp, I would dump him straight away. I would only accept it if he could prove that he was only there to troll. I ask a LOT of questions during the talking stage and place a few red herrings to find out their beliefs about gender relationships.

I actually agree with this and I think it has to happen for gender relations to improve. Men say that women are naturally hypergamous but in modern times, we haven’t been. If I look at the average woman in my circle, she’s married/dating a guy who is less attractive than she is, sometimes less educated, not earning enough money for her to stay home with the kids and the personality isn’t all that. It’s usually the best of a bad bunch. I think men would be happier if women admitted that we fare b…

Because they’re obsessed with what women are doing with their vaginas. These posts are tiring but they do expose the psychosis that is prevalent in this sub

I really agree with this. Generalisations are normal and I think they are needed for us to understand concepts. E.G. lions roar (but I’m sure there are some that don’t). The problem is that human emotions and behaviours are complex. Also, context is important. From my observations, many Red Pill, Black Pill, incels etc struggle with nuance and complexity. They feel safer when there are rigid and unbreakable rules for existence. That’s why they are obsessed with studies - because they find a “rul…

I’m a woman and I would never date a broke man. I have in the past and it was awful. It’s not in my best interests. Personality is important. I’ve dumped wealthy men who I found to be boring or bad people. For some reason people think it has to be wealth or personality. Why can’t it be both?

Your comment makes absolutely no sense. The way you communicate your thoughts is a bit weird… it reminds me of some of the other men in here… you all have something in common but I can’t put my finger on it….

The reasoning is often creepy. It’s usually men who fail at dating women in their age group because they are experienced enough to see right through them. They then go for younger women who are not as experienced or wise in order to take advantage of them. I heard men admit to it and I had men try it with me. It’s very predatory and creepy. Rarely innocent.

If you are male, good looking, tall and white, you have the easiest time on dating apps. If you are female, thin, white, and marginally pretty, you will have a great time on dating apps. It’s a shit show for everyone else. I will say one thing - men, stop with the psycho close up pictures shot in your bedroom. It doesn’t look good and nobody will swipe right on that.

That’s understandable. The reason why I say that is that I’m getting the vibe that a lot of men feel that that dating isn’t worth it and they seem resentful, so it just makes sense to stay single rather than go through that. In a perfect situation we would find “the one” but I think gender dynamics are too messed up. I chose that username because I’ve been accused of only wanting Chad… so I thought I’d own it.

You are going on a tangent. I never said Leo WANTED to pull a 33 year old scientist or if it’s in his best interests. I’m saying that they’re in two different realms. Her value system is going to be different to a 20 year old model’s. The original question was about the value of wealth and status to WOMEN, not Leo.

How can you make that judgement when I haven’t shared what has happened? Also serious question, would you rather be rap*d by a man or have your legs blown off?

Of course status and wealth is attractive. For me it’s like a points system. Looks, height, wealth and personality are each worth points. If a guy is lacking points in one category, then he needs to make up for it in another category. Wealth and social status isn’t the only thing most women care about but it gives extra points. If I met Leonardo Dicaprio and he wanted to date me for some reason, he would need to score big on personality points. He has wealth and social status but he is so unattr…

I agree. I think men should find happiness through their hobbies, friends and their career. There is a dependence on finding a woman to make them happy. Women are like this too but I see it more often in men. There are so many wounded men who think finding a beautiful and submissive woman will cure everything and they get angry and resentful when they don’t find it. If relationships are making men so unhappy and bitter, I would rather they work on themselves and forego dating. I know everyone wa…

I find it hard to answer this question because it’s disingenuous. My harassment growing up was not “occasional” and it was really frightening and violating. I know that men on this sub reduce women’s fear to neuroticism, in order to downplay their experiences but the threat of men influences our daily lives, especially those who live in busy cities. If the harassment was really mild and occasional, I would choose it over invisibility but it’s not. I’m in my 30s now (shrivelled up, post-wall, und…
