Unlike women who wear Gucci, I can change a tire. 😂 I literally can and do do both. I’m super into fashion as a hobby. And I wanted to be a mechanic when I was a teenager lol

How can you tell what her thoughts are? Don’t assume peoples thoughts and intentions, it’ll make you paranoid and project your feelings unto others. Focus on the facts, is she being rude toward you? Stand up for yourself then. If she’s just doing her job, let her, you should be working anyway, not focusing on what she may or may not think. The grey rocking and stoic attitude might be the best bet right now.

You should ask straight up. But be diplomatic and confident. Don’t snoop cause that’s beneath us as honest women. As a side note, I know multiple men and women who muted their notifications because of group chats, annoying friends/family. Myself included, I’ve randomly muted people during relationships too because the people texting me were annoying, nothing nefarious. Don’t leap to conclusions. If the answer is honest then you build trust and it won’t be on the back on snooping. If the answer d…

Yeah I stopped reading after that. It’s a pretty big flag if they only talk about themselves. It shows they’re not interested in you and only care about themselves. OP he’s not a good match. You should strongly consider finding someone else who has other hobbies outside of talking about himself.

Congratulations! I’ve been doing something similar. I’m building my credit from nonexistent to existing. It’s great to see women having goals outside of relationships. It’s what makes us well rounded.

I don’t know if this is in the handbook, but energy matching has saved me and a bunch of other women pain and heartache from low effort.

Did this recently. Can confirm, it feels great. I’ve never been more relieved.

You shouldn’t have replied to that obvious manipulative come back. He was trying to egg you on to respond. Next time just block them.

What’s the Curb Your Enthusiasm reference he mentioned?

Right? Hahahah. I’m still laughing about it. Does that seriously work on people? I hope no one is desperate enough to fall for that.

It was an online dating platform. I stopped after a week due to my own mental health issues and not being in the right mindset for dating right now. I didn’t meet him because I always wait about a week after chatting before I meet someone to vet them if they’re creepy (that usually shows up pretty quickly). So, I didn’t find it odd that we didn’t meet up and he left for work. As I know a few people who are traveling for work consistently. In hindsight, he was pretty vague about his job and didn’…

This sub saved me from a romance scam. I was talking with someone and it was going well for two weeks. I quickly noticed a few red flags at first: Getting emotional and unloading his difficult life right away on me. Not using my name. Bad English. Asked shallow questions about myself. Never sexual though, I’ll give him credit for that. Thought it was a cultural thing; it off as affectionate/passionate type person. It did sent alarms bells off, but I kept up contact with him cause I was bored and…

Yeah, it is a dating strategy sub, but it does help with other areas in life. The sub also condones leveling up your own life by working on yourself, with hobbies and careers.

Damn, this sucks. This sub has really helped with my self esteem and not being taken advantage of by people. Not just men, but in general.

I saw a guy on OKC recently who catfished as a model from Brazil. But apparently he was in the tech field and lived in Canada 🤔 This catfish had his profile set up that he was telling everyone how masculine and emotional he was, and at the very end put a list of women as an imgur picture of what he wants. He called it “demure-pale.” If you went through his questions, they were riddled with incel speak. Obviously I reported him, and I called him an incel. When I reported him I gave the link to th…

I like when they ask “what are you looking for?” Cause it gives me the opportunity to say something ridiculous like, “men who wear crocs exclusively.”

I’m a single mother, and every single father I’ve dated immediately wanted to move closer to me and meet his kid ASAP. First of all, how could you do that to your kid? Bringing in random women you don’t know too much about? You’re doing your kid a disservice. Second, don’t you have enough respect for yourself to not put yourself in that position? Obviously not. Thankfully I’ve never met any crazy exes, and I’m certainly not the crazy ex, so I’m happy about that. I’m not going to completely dismi…

I’ve noticed men do this a lot. It took a lot of therapy (for reasons unrelated to men) for me to call out not only men, but others who do this. People have feelings, they may be irrational, but they’re valid and you have a right to them. Don’t let anyone diminish your feelings.

If I did that to my son on Christmas, he would be ruined. Why does he think this is okay? What if she did this to him? He really doesn’t have any empathy.

All the doctors I dated were flakey and a little abstract. I like abstract personalities, but the flakiness was not cool.

Yeah, Bernadette Banner isn’t that silly, but she’s still interesting in her own right. She’s extremely talented and her clothes she makes are so beautiful.

Jesus, what a piece of shit. I hope she finds out and dumps him. Even the guys in the comments are calling him out. He thinks cause he graduated he’s hot shit, but he’s not. There are tons of doctors out there. This guy just proves that you shouldn’t date men in medschool. I’ve dated doctors and they all had inflated egos. I finally caught on and dumped all of them (I was dating three at the same time) I’ll never date another man in medicine again.

Ugly dudes tend to be more insecure, whereas attractive men tend to be more secure with not only their looks, but also confident with their life/hobbies. However, if an ugly guy is confident in his skills and hobbies, that makes them less ugly... somehow? Idk, lol.

My ex and I were hanging out, drinking and talking. Like we usually did. We always talked about everything for hours. It was great, but I had a feeling he was hyper sensitive to his image the entirety of our relationship. So when he asked me, in a joking way, if he ever embarrassed me. I saw a golden opportunity to see if my theory was true. I said, “yes, once or twice. Nothing serious or worth mentioning.” Which was true. Girl, you could see the smoke coming out of his ears. He freaked out and …

I’ve always admired Dita von Teese. She knows how to be sexy, but silly at the same time. I definitely aspire to be like her lol
